- Last year we had a really lovely party in the garden but this year we can't do that and besides it was too cold. So we decided to keep it simple: breakfast at the beach, a walk in the woods, a good lunch with family and a bonus friend!
A few days later we walked up the mountain to the village at the top.

Have you done a video telling your romance with Carlo? Who chased who, what was his opening line, did he think differently of the relationship because you were English, when did you first live together, have your daughter, etc. Did he ever take you on a date to the cemetery at first? I know that TH-camrs say that sometimes only the good is shown in their videos and the viewers don't see the whole picture. That may be true, but the simplicity and beauty of your life seems so idyllic. I am longing to visit Positano!
Nicki, I truly enjoyed this Birthday video. You look so much younger than your age. It has to be the location, and the obvious love of Carlos. The drone coverage and song at the end of the video actually made cry a little, missing my sweet husband who passed 5 years ago. He was always coming up with ways to show his love for me, last minute getaways, notes around the house, a 4 leaf clover he found sitting on the grass while our dog ran around. He had it laminated and it stays in my wallet. Treasure your time. Memories are great, but making them grows your love every day. Happy Birthday !

Thanks Nicki, Hi Anna - day 7 and the temperature, sweating and shaking has gone, no cough just feels achy and tired, he’s confined to the bedroom as we have a 19 year old son who is just recovering from an operation to remove a tumour from his spine! It never rains but it pours here 🤣. I was born in Walsall - Aldridge to be precise and lived there for 24 years then moved to Birmingham and now live in Lichfield for the last 14 years, I love it here x

Just recently found your Diaries which I just love. Spent 2 years living near Bacoli in the 80s . Just loved it and have since returned to show our kids .
