The interrupt can trigger the OS to do something else. A lot of I2C devices have a line that can be set up to trigger the interrupt when data is ready to be read
Right! I'm hoping it will help with wake/sleep signaling between devices since battery life is a major constraint on this phones. Hopefully I'll have a good update for December.
