I apologise for the long absence of videos guys. About 1,5 months ago we got the word our bid on a house got accepted. We basically had 1 month to get the house in order for us to move in and it was a super stressful time for us.
don't bother reading the comment, everyone is talking about the friend and how the friend ruined the video, nothing useful. I wanted to read a comment about the game.
It's a video on TH-cam and that's what were commenting on, if the dude wasnt so annoying maybe wed comment on the game, but he sticks out like a sore thumb
I have so much respect for you man, that first guy, you could've popped him in the back of the head like most people would, but you didn't, you tried to make friends, your the type of people who keep this game alive
splitting axe better than fire axe for cutting down trees, hatchet can be substituted for hammer for banging in nails, all can be repaired with duct tape before they are ruined. i personally never bother with walls on the bottom of the watch tower unless it forms part of the base perimeter fence.
Great video, I was a little concerned that you were not posting anymore, thank you for explaining the reason and have a happy life in the new house^^ I find base building a bit tedious and complicated, it's a team job I think but it add value to the game, I'll be there for the next video.😊😊

Everyone else: Hey a big, loud, obvious, visible from space loot pinata that's easy to plunder with a hatchet, some duct tape and 10 minutes. Don't bother. Bury that shit and take a screenshot of where you buried it. Then it'll last maybe a day or two longer.

Pretty sweet building a nice start of a nice base with watchtower start, some walls, tents etc. all looking good, then even more sweet when it despawns after 2-3 days.. and yh I noticed can just ghost through watchtower walls, I think I couldn't do it on regular walls though

Seems dayz can't even get the most simple things right though.. it even seems like the coder got the hands the wrong way round when coding aspects of the character carrying items.. The right hand goes to the left side of the object, and the left hand goes to the right side of the object.. Literally like some coder is so noob he got the code names for left and right hand in the wrong place so left hand connects with right side of object... Had this game a week and it seems a lot like there's two chimpanzees and a squirrel working on this game Game is so broken.. I couldn't even get it to work to build the first roof to the watchtower, it kept starting the animation and timer and instantly stopping.. Funnily enough I also tried to lock pick a locked door where some one stashed something, it would start the lock pick animation then instantly stop.. just wouldn't work, but I tested a nearby door and locked and unlocked it fine.. Turns out for me a lock pick is more like a magic key which only that lock pick can lock and unlock a door or something, I don't know
1.0 ,just built my biggest base. two completed watchtowers several tents, six or seven barrels. Left to find pliers to finish the gate and it all disappeared. The only thing left was our spare parts car with inventory intact and the smell of broken dreams.

Honestly if they make bass building like how it was in Epoch I’d be okay with that. Forcing players to go to lumber yards to get wood for their base is kinda redundant and having a system where you can get lumber from combining wood together would be a good mechanic from Epoch to bring over to standalone. It wouldn’t be too overpowered because it took a lot of wood to make lumber piles and it really required a team to make a base. They could also do a system where getting a chainsaw to cut down trees makes it a lot easier and quicker to make a base. Also making the base walls stronger of course would help.

I built a PC 2 years ago and sold it not 6 months later due to financial issues, I used to play this game a lot along with rust, I'm now building a new PC and it's only just entered beta 😂
I'm not reading through all comments to see if it's been said but. You can make planks with a hacksaw and cut up the log you get from cutting a tree if you dont find any in lumber yard or dont feel like running back and forth so much.

In games like this i always check my 6 before i open a door or go through one cuz you just never know. Paranoid is what keeps you alive in zombie games and where there is a will there is a way to escape.

hey M1NDR i wanted to give you an idea of a diffrent type of dayz playstyle but you should do this when the bow comes out. its called the survivalist challenge and you have to find food only from planting and hunting/fishing and you are not allowed to use guns, only the bow. you are not allowed to use anykind of clothes but only hunting ones and only improvised bagbacks. tell me what you think! been loving your content for 1+ years!
I just bought this game for Xbox One 2 days ago (really enjoying it so far). I’ve been thinking about getting a small base built somewhere, and I was wondering if much has changed with the building mechanics since this video was made. Either way, great video. I’ve been watching a good bit of your channel since I got the game btw. Thanks for making the learning process a little easier!
EFIL 4 ZAGGIN man it’s a lot of fun. The map is crazy big, but when you’re in the areas with high quality loot there’s usually a lot of pvp going on. The graphics are great in my opinion. Deciding whether or not you can trust someone is a unique aspect that I really like. I’m currently in a group with 2 others, and I will say it’s a lot more fun with others. However, there’s is lag on some servers more than others. But you can just exit the server and join a different one if the lags bothering you, and all the stuff on your body transfers with you.
Haha good luck out there! I would watch a couple videos on the controls for Xbox on TH-cam because it’s a little confusing to figure out on your own. Same with crafting - you have to figure out how to make things on your own by trying different combinations. I like this because since they don’t really tell you anything, it’s more realistic.
I'm keen to see some base raids, at the moment bases need to be guarded constantly or otherwise be looted too easily, but raiding a guarded base would be a lot more action-packed and adrenaline-pumping than raiding an offline base
I think the bases should be only harder to raid example having to break walls u need like chainsaw otherwise cant. like you can only raid it by destroying the gate lock wich should be hard and or picklocking wich would take time aswell. Also solo raiding should be harder. they should put like more people in the area of doing an action it speeds up. and vice versa with defenders. these are all good things that i have thought of. becouse the amount of time u need to build the base is huge and i will build it anyways even though i know someone will still raid it.

I was so happy that I could get a car working but then as I try to get out of the vehicle, I was thrown 100 feet in the air and died. Uninstall the game immediately after that.
imagine a game that’s been out for 6 years that still kills you when you get in and out of a car. imagine taking 3-5 hours just to drive the car . imagine the irony of having to run hours back to the car that you were trying to build to get around quicker . imagine waiting 6 years for literal twig bases imagine uninstalling then looking at steam stats and realizing this game can’t pull more than 10k players but i’ve seen people post recent vids on youtube and get close to a million views

D C yeah it’s almost like a scam nowadays i see too often “buy our game ! it’s early release though!” just another way of saying devs will put minimal to no effort into game yet still collect your money and if you ever feel disappointed in our game please remember it’s early access . this game sucks there’s no point in building people stroll into your shit and just take whatever they feel there’s no point in playing you run for hours upon hours scavenger hunting gear servers die in moments or by the time you actually get geared and kids you run into are socially challenged so you’re better off just shooting them all in the head the map is too big for a 60 player server the list just goes On dude this video above is about as fun as this game gets and it’s only fun if you have friends who don’t quit in 20 mins but be ready to spend about an hour or two before you actually meet up on the map. meanwhile Other games (rust, scum) are going to fucking kill this game in content

pull up i zurvive.com and navigate the map to the military tents and barracks. once you find good routes you can get looted quick every time you spawn. also don't shy away from players. if you can make a play on them and kill them you will also get looted very fast.
On several occasions i died without a gun shot "sound", warning etc. I was pretty geared at that time....So wtf is wrong? Is my sounds are bugged or just the game is garbage?
It is because there is a bug with weapon sounds, I think they are still like that on stable, but on exp because it is a few versions ahead i think the issue is resolved.
@@WICK_3D It does not matter you will always hear the bullet snap upon death, sometimes it cuts off halfway through the audio but you hear it. Also now there is a death screen so you actually see your character dying, so without bugs it should always be there.

YOU CAN REPAIR ITEMS WITH TAPE! Knives and axes can also be repaired with a sharpening stone! This will save you sooo much time!

hey M1NDR i wanted to give you an idea of a diffrent type of dayz playstyle but you should do this when the bow comes out. its called the survivalist challenge and you have to find food only from planting and hunting/fishing and you are not allowed to use guns, only the bow. you are not allowed to use anykind of clothes but only hunting ones and only improvised bagbacks. tell me what you think! been loving your content for 1+ years!

I just bought this game for Xbox One 2 days ago (really enjoying it so far).
I’ve been thinking about getting a small base built somewhere, and I was wondering if much has changed with the building mechanics since this video was made.

EFIL 4 ZAGGIN man it’s a lot of fun. The map is crazy big, but when you’re in the areas with high quality loot there’s usually a lot of pvp going on.
The graphics are great in my opinion. Deciding whether or not you can trust someone is a unique aspect that I really like. I’m currently in a group with 2 others, and I will say it’s a lot more fun with others.
However, there’s is lag on some servers more than others. But you can just exit the server and join a different one if the lags bothering you, and all the stuff on your body transfers with you.
Haha good luck out there! I would watch a couple videos on the controls for Xbox on TH-cam because it’s a little confusing to figure out on your own. Same with crafting - you have to figure out how to make things on your own by trying different combinations.

I'm keen to see some base raids, at the moment bases need to be guarded constantly or otherwise be looted too easily, but raiding a guarded base would be a lot more action-packed and adrenaline-pumping than raiding an offline base
I think the bases should be only harder to raid example having to break walls u need like chainsaw otherwise cant. like you can only raid it by destroying the gate lock wich should be hard and or picklocking wich would take time aswell. Also solo raiding should be harder. they should put like more people in the area of doing an action it speeds up. and vice versa with defenders. these are all good things that i have thought of. becouse the amount of time u need to build the base is huge and i will build it anyways even though i know someone will still raid it.

I was so happy that I could get a car working but then as I try to get out of the vehicle, I was thrown 100 feet in the air and died. Uninstall the game immediately after that.
imagine a game that’s been out for 6 years that still kills you when you get in and out of a car. imagine taking 3-5 hours just to drive the car . imagine the irony of having to run hours back to the car that you were trying to build to get around quicker . imagine waiting 6 years for literal twig bases imagine uninstalling then looking at steam stats and realizing this game can’t pull more than 10k players but i’ve seen people post recent vids on youtube and get close to a million views
The game is beta, not released for 6 years. It is very obvious when you chose to buy the game that it isnt finished yet.

D C yeah it’s almost like a scam nowadays i see too often “buy our game ! it’s early release though!” just another way of saying devs will put minimal to no effort into game yet still collect your money and if you ever feel disappointed in our game please remember it’s early access . this game sucks there’s no point in building people stroll into your shit and just take whatever they feel there’s no point in playing you run for hours upon hours scavenger hunting gear servers die in moments or by the time you actually get geared and kids you run into are socially challenged so you’re better off just shooting them all in the head the map is too big for a 60 player server the list just goes On dude this video above is about as fun as this game gets and it’s only fun if you have friends who don’t quit in 20 mins but be ready to spend about an hour or two before you actually meet up on the map. meanwhile Other games (rust, scum) are going to fucking kill this game in content

@Actually Violent incorrect. People that know how to play the game can get geared in a matter of minutes. You aren't one of those people.
pull up i zurvive.com and navigate the map to the military tents and barracks. once you find good routes you can get looted quick every time you spawn. also don't shy away from players. if you can make a play on them and kill them you will also get looted very fast.

On several occasions i died without a gun shot "sound", warning etc. I was pretty geared at that time....So wtf is wrong? Is my sounds are bugged or just the game is garbage?
Happened to me as well....i mean all the time i die without hearing or seeing anything
It is because there is a bug with weapon sounds, I think they are still like that on stable, but on exp because it is a few versions ahead i think the issue is resolved.
@daddy You may not hear the gunshot, but you would hear the bullet snap.
@@djnebuchanezzer Also depends on the distance at which the bullet was shot.
@@WICK_3D It does not matter you will always hear the bullet snap upon death, sometimes it cuts off halfway through the audio but you hear it. Also now there is a death screen so you actually see your character dying, so without bugs it should always be there.
