Love the explanation about “fathering” and “mothering” you made in this chapter, as well as rising our children in obedience, and in light, and in truth, thanks you for the love and inspiration in helping us to understand worship and adoration, the ways of Heavenly Father and drawing closer to Jesus Christ by emulation, ❤️ love and prayers to you and your family.
Ahhhh i LOVE nature. That's where I feel grounded, but God's love too. The Light. Makes me appreciate HOW much God loves us, by ALL the Beauty, he has created for us- for our happiness. So grateful for all the colors and gratitude I feel i stand in AWE, @ Gods love from us.
Sections 88 and 93 are two of my absolute favorites. So much beautiful eternal truths the Lord has mercifully given us to ponder. One can't help but feel closer to the bosom of His Love !!!
I have thought to challenge those who don't beleive Joseph Smith is a prophet of God to prayerfully read those two. Chapters! They would become believers!
My wife and I really needed to hear this lesson. Thank you brother for consecrating your time and talents. Our 10 year old daughter asks to listen to your lessons when she goes to bed at night. She will sit with us for hours learning from you.
Brother Jared, thank you very much for your patience in teaching the gospel. Tha k you very much for helping me during the lockdown. I become more closer to my Savior. Thank you.
So glad to see you've broken 50k subscribers. Mainly because it reflects thousands of people wishing to draw closer to the Lord during their weekly worship/study of Him. Love the material as always. Thank you!
Brother Halverson, I always loved my religion classes in college and wished I had a way to bring them back into my life as a mother of young children. Thank you for making this happen. I can study the Gospel with you as I do my daily tasks. Thank you for creating such an exquisite class that is available anywhere in the world at any time of day, to help us revel in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My deepest gratitude to you for being the means by which God has provided this greatly appreciated blessing in my life!
Thankyou for a marvellous lesson. Your explanations and commitment to the GOSPEL is so heart warming. Yes, I agree our Church does not show worship, as the Evangelicals, this is something I would like to see more commitment to. May the Lord Bless you and keep you, and be gracious unto you. May the Lord lift up His Countenance upon you and give you Peace.
You commented earlier in the year about your attempt to hand write out the Book of Mormon at the pace it was translated. In Feb I decided to copy the Book of Mormon, by hand, starting with the 1st page. My experience in “transcribing” this sacred text has been much slower (I’m only up to 2 Nephi 26 in six months) but very powerful. Each word gets read several times in bringing it from the text to my own hand-written copy. As I do I often picture Joseph Smith speaking the words to his scribe. I find myself, as my own scribe, making an assumption of what is coming next and, at times, having to liine it out. It also has slowed my reading to the point that I find myself giving it so much thought as I try to discern what these prophets want ME to know. I’m thankful the Spirit is so willing to acknowledge the acceptance of your efforts as a gift to our Father by caring suggestions, perhaps unintended at times, into the hearts of your students. This written journey is so valuable to me I expect to continue with the Pearl of Great Price when I’m finished. Thank you so much Bro Halverson. Take care.
Thank-you. There isn’t room to explain the gratitude I feel for the Light & Truth that you spread. Your lessons have served as a refuge from the noise in this World. Hearing scripture taught and explained from you always brings the Spirit strongly, and has helped me to recognize The Spirit and Truth again. Your words in this ‘episode’ spoke to me at a time that feels like they were directly meant for me, exactly when I needed to hear them. Thank-you.
I look forward to your lessons and I feel so thankful because, reading is hard for me but, listening is easy and I am learning so much more than I ever have Thank you!
Beautiful lesson, Thank you so much for your faithfullness in learning and teaching me in patience and deligence. For your years of studying and learning the gospel and your love of teaching. Bless you.
Brother Jared…it was after a very early morning prayer that I was guided to your lessons. They have become a bright guidance for me to view, and learn from the scriptures….this has helped me to more fully understand who and how I worship. I thank you, once again for your faith filled dedication to teach with the Spirit of truth. My prayers are with you, and for us all to learn to be the Sons and Daughters that worship our Father in Heaven, as His Son always did….pleasing in His sight. Thank you my good brother….Keep up the wonderful work😇👍. David
Love your lessons. I hope you never stop doing these. I thank you for all your work and time spent. You are such an inspiration. I am way too old for seminary but I would love to listen in if you could tape them
Thank you Brother Halverson. Thank you for bringing to light for me to see my"ignorant worshiping". I have just had a good cry & will apologize to Heavenly Father wholeheartedly. I will also do everything I can to get rid of my "ignorance" as well. Thank you too for the enlightening explanations & examples from other Writers & Apostles. I always feel like I have learned so much about God, about Jesus, & about myself after watching & listening to your programme. I am 77, & live in New Zealand. Blessings on you & your family.
Thank you for inspiring me to rededicate myself to try to bring my children up in light and truth. Now I have a better understanding of what “fathering” a child really is.
I can’t thank you enough for your genuine dedication to the Lord Jesus Christ! Thank you for your example! Thank you for the inspiration and expanding scriptures! Bless you and your family!
My wife and I met at the Orem Institute. She worked there as a secretary and I was a frequent class go-er. We LOVED institute! Couldn't get enough of it! 14 years of marriage later (anniversary is tomorrow, yay, I remembered! ), we wish we could attend institute again!
I barely got through the reading of the Spectator excerpt when I was moved to fall to my knees and give thanks to Heavenly Father for His Son and for these truths that fill my heart to the point that it just might burst with gratitude and awe. Thank you so much for your wonderful insight! I feel the spirit so strong confirming the truth of it all.
Thank You, Brother Halverson, for enlightening my understanding of Who & How we are to worship & for refreshing my memory as to the precious responsibility of parenting our Children, who belong to our Eternal Father. We must be exceptional...we must share all the light we can share...we must never forget who we are actually, loving, teaching, guiding & setting an example for. It all means so much ♡ Judy Combs
So grateful for your insights. Over the course of leadership positions I have taught from this section. It is truly loaded with such positive understanding about not only God but us and our potential. I have been grateful for institute classes for adults over 30
Brother Halverson, many of us are not of YSA age but much older. Please don’t stop teaching us on UNSHAKEN. Will you continue with the D & C & next year, PLEASE.
You have a listener from the Philippines, you inspire me to be good and prioritize HF. Thank you so much for this. I never graduated in the Institute class but could have, but I was busy as a working student then. Now, I double time in learning more about God and his mysteries.
Thank you SO very much for the HUGE amount of effort you do to produce these for us. I know it takes such a immense amount of your time, but I want you to know that we LOVE them so much. I love feeling like I am back in institute, and love the depth of learning you are blessings with. Thank you so very much!
Aloha Elder Halverson. We are still here Brother and Sister Higa from Kauai, the Kalaheo ward. Mahalo Piha ( plenty) for all the scriptures since starting reading the D&C lessons with You. We enjoy your teaching. We have learn so much since listening and learning these scriptures of the D& C. Thant you so much for your experiences for the examples and teaching in an format for us to understand the scriptures. We appreciate your lessons that we share together every day. We love the scriptures and we try every to be like Jesus. We share our Aloha of Love and Understanding of learning with You. Mahalo nui Loa... Brother & Sister Higa, of the Kauai Stake, Kalaheo ward.
Thank you for your sacrifice brother Halverson, although I'm guessing it doesn't feel like a sacrifice... I trust that God is blessing you richly.❤ Thank you Brother.
This has been my favorite presentation so far that I have watched. In fact, I have copied and saved this and section 84 to file, lest your TH-cam videos are ever removed. I am appreciative of the special treatment you have given eternal and perpetual progression, with the historical and personal insights. It was nice to learn that this theory/belief has been around for a while with references to Saint Gregory, our tradition scriptures, and the beautiful writings of Joseph Addison. For those of us who truly want to have a full understanding, you do a nice job of anticipating what we need to know. It is like having a personal dialogue with one who has pondered and unraveled. We can get simpler discussions from other sources; but, for some of us, the depth and richness of what you choose to share is not to be missed. Thank you for taking the time and effort to try to help us to see and understand through your eyes.
As a mother of 8 I add my testimony to yours that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ our babies come into the world completely clean and pure. The heavens open and the veil is very thin and I believe that this truth resonates so strongly and is the reason that so many are attracted to the purity of babies.
Easter message connecting the Doctrine of Christ with Holy Week is amazing! He previously compared the Doctrine of Christ to four tires on a vehicle (Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Holy Ghost). Enduring well to the End is the perfect addition to that comparison because we must continue to “press forward.”
Thank you for reminding me to take the time, 'to indeed take time', to pray whole heartedly. I too sometimes hurry my own prayers, and get complaints from others when I whole heartedly pray. I need to Remember who I am talking to, and not let others influence how I pray. But remember WHO I am talking to. Thank you Its a hard balance to have. Especially around others who don't understand.
This lesson changed my life! I listened to parts of it at least 3 times. It fed my soul things that I really needed at this time. Principals were taught that simplified my worship of my Savior and my Heavenly Father. Your knowledge of the scriptures seems to come from years of teaching them and years of "learning for yourself" what they actually mean. Thank you for the course of your life that has shaped your perspective. I love that you went to Divinity School and also studied history. I love your sense of humor and the way that you make our Savior and our Heavenly Father so real to me, so personal to me. This makes me love them more and want to serve them more diligently.
When our body and spirit have different aims we also cannot have a fullness of joy. Our test is to align our bodies with what our spirits know is right. As long as our two halves are divided we can never experience a fullness of joy.
Looking forward to this week's lesson. I love how my kids are now making comments like "Jared mentioned in the lesson this week..." is so good to see they are actually listening! although sometimes they do look at the time duration for the video but I know they are listening and applying D&C knowledge. You are the best seminary, institute teacher ever! Vaya con Dios hermano! Blessings to you and your family, may the Lord keep you healthy and well so we can enjoy your wisdom and knowledge for as long as we have internet.
Is there any chance that you can “post” your classes so that we could watch them??? I’m sadly beyond Institute age but would LOVE to be able to see them!! Thank you for all you do for us!! I love your classes! As a convert I never had a chance to attend seminary and so this is my seminary! 😊❤️
Me too! I’m to old for institute too. Thanks to Janet, I now realize that there is an alternative! I love these online classes but hearing you teach in institute would be evenbetter!
Agreed! I'm a couple years outside of institute but still single and I think it's such a shame that because I'm 32, I can't partake. My spirit longs for more spiritual opportunities.
Contact your local institute, they may hold classes for adults too; my local institute does. Only one or two classes, not the same quantity as YSA but they're still great.
I learned so much from your lesson this week. Thank you. Since you asked, (although I don't know how I can limit this to one thought,) one thing I was so grateful to hear was the part on children being influenced by the traditions of their fathers. I have been a member for over 48 years and the one thing I have tried to do is overcome the seemingly ingrained traditions of my "fathers." Someone else commented on the state of their heart and I would say that is part of my quest. Trying to change the state of my heart having inherited behaviors as a result of abuse. Would that it could be a little more noticeable that my heart is changing. The process is slow and almost imperceptible. Thank you for ALL the wonderful insights.
We look forward to watching your videos each day as a part of pur companion study. You have really helped us learn to LOVE the truth in the scriptures. Thank you, we feel your love for us, for Heavenly Father and for our Savior Jesus Christ.
Amazing! Really Love this lesson especially teaching children light & truth v tradition of the fathers. From a cultural background heavy in tradition, I know of members who believe in honoring tradition over God & eternal doctrine to the extent that they pervert the scriptures to justify tradition. Their children don’t want to change the false doctrine they were raised by nor desire progress bc it will deviate from what their “fathers or parents taught.” Kind of like a cult. These ppl outwardly have a form of godliness but lack the essence of real worship/conversion. Thank you for elucidating on the tradition of the fathers & teaching children correct principles👌👍👏
Thank you for bringing the scriptures to life for me as never before,…. in a particular way the D&C, and still more particular, section 93 this week! I’ve read and re-read and underlined this amazing section recent days, listened to this podcast close to three times, and still feel like I’m starving for more! I’m grateful knowing I can go back for more any time and I will, while looking forward to what lies ahead as a faithful online student in your class, along with my two daughters who call once a week to discuss what we on learning together.
I am one who learns from order....when you were speaking of the 5 things we must do in order to see him and know him...it came to me, that there is order in those 5 things. One action follows with the next. When you talked about obeying his voice, my thought was once you have prayed that it is important to then obey the voice that you hear. Those voices are what help us to "become" step by step. Those steps are our personal journey to seeing Him and knowing Him. I use to be all about just doing. I had my check lists of what I was to do to be a good follower of Christ. These past few years the Spirit has taught me, that there is more to the Gospel than just robotically doing what I have been taught from my youth. Your words rang clear to me. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and talents that you have been blessed with because of your faithfulness. I have learned so much from you!
Remember what Prophet said, something like he would work with one hand and hold off evil ones with a gun in the other hand What a time. Now days we need to pray more times and teach others. The meds some have not so good effects on the body, and make other parts of the body not so good, I am having this issue in many things. Praying is seeing me through all things and study 📖🙂❤️🙏
Are your institute classes on zoom? Those of us who are older would love to enjoy and learn from them!! I am in AZ, so coming to your classes is not an option. Thank you!
This reminds me of a book I felt inspired to read entitled, "The Power of Stillness" It was a wonderful explanation of how prayer and our other ordinances can help us create mindfulness and peace in our lives.
@@Skarecrow1949 There are multiple authors. The subtitle is "Mindful Living for Latter-day Saints" Here it is on amazon: www.amazon.com/Power-Stillness-Mindful-Living-Latter-day-ebook/dp/B083LFZBD7
Wow this is one intensely interesting and gratifying section! Especially with Bro. Jared’s immense study comments. And wrapping in the King Follete discourse (my family basically joined the church because Elder Terry Canova shared this with my dad who calls it “the greatest metaphysical treatise ever written.” Resulting in my entire family being baptized in the church. I had to search and buy “Spectator” off of Kindle-the whole thing $2.99. That one Addington quote Jared refers to is pure gold.
About last phrase in 93:52 ' you shall not be confounded in this world, nor in the world to come." How is there potential to be confounded in the world to come?
Brother Halverson, I am working so hard to change for the better but my biggest challenge is my heart. I am trying to change my thoughts. How and what scriptures can you outline rhat teaches these things. I need to go from doubt to faith. From fear to confidence. From enmity to love. I focus on Christ but it doesnt feel like enough. Please show me how to learn this!
How I would love to come to your class Brother Harrelson...but I live in New Zealand, so I will be content to be a part of your tutoring online. I pray for your continued explanations every week. Thank you & God bless.
I love this section, I slip all the time and yet pray for help for understanding of what to do daily. Growing, always thinking about how can I help others with any thing And this Covid is very hard in the area where I live even so many people are not getting the Vaccine like our Prophet said it's a good thing to have done. Many in my family have gotten it and some people in the area are not, I am disabled and have many things to deal with, but put my faith in God and the Church I had my children vaccinated and the health department do it Free,or in most states I read to them as well as in my stomach and as a baby, they started to read as a early age, never spoke baby language and they spoke well, understand people better, they learned to reading from scripture books. Can you send me your flo chart Beautiful way to start many things. This might be one of my favorite sections.. Thank you, Brother Jared 🤗❤️
Continual progress, yes, but Joseph Smith also taught that one whose calling and election was made sure still could fall and become a son of perdition. No? It’s not easy. I love your explanations and do not miss a broadcast.
Brother Halverson, i also wonder about addressing the matter of the existence before we met God. I wish the brethren would canonize and name that nowhere at the beginning of Lehi's dream.
Is there any way we can have copies of the quotes that you have used in your presentations? Thank you so much for these wonderful presentations. I listen to them on my walks. So inspirational!
Bro. Halverson, in a few of your presentations, you used tuning forks as an example of being “in tune” with our heavenly Father. Twice I’ve purchased two each of tuning forks, small (musical application) and larger supposedly medical grade tuning forks ( double of the same note) and in each case I never got the one to resonate in response to the other. I’ve since returned them to the vendor. So my question to you is, what version or type of tuning fork should I be purchasing to achieve this result as you’ve referenced? Thank you for all you do for us to continue to understand our second estate and how to return to our Father through grace to grace. Thank you so much for your effective and eloquent presentations. Thank you for all your time invested in your lessons!
I have a friend who is a bishop. He has members who are struggling with some current issues in the Church. In a recent commentary, you discussed doubting and inquiry into difficult issues. I cannot remember where it was and would like to share this with him. Can you help me as to where to look? I wish there was an index. Thank you for all you do for us.
Hello. I am from Colombia and I have this question. Why Institutes is nor for all members of the church. I am much lder than 30 but I thisnk we could have an istitute class. Thank you.
Hello. I've also been listening to your Book of Mormon videos. Please check out your 'Come Follow Me - Alma 13-16 (part 2): "Enter Into the Rest of the Lord" ' video for my comment. I believe it may be of great interest to you. It's because you again mentioned your grampa'.
Well, I'm no where in Brother Halverson's league, but I am guessing it's what he said in the lesson..."Adoration, (worship) through Emulation. When we emulate the Savior in everything we do, we ARE worshipping Him.
I was ask this question Okay,we get put on different levels of heaven the Celestial,Terlestal,, and the Teletal Is there a chance ever a chance for the others in the other 2 levels to advance? I told the person I read we get put where we are happy at finally. But I will ask someone that is a very good teacher So please get back to me Is there ever anything those on the other 2 levels for advance to going because of continuing to study and praying for help for growth?

Every time I hear “At One Ment,”I wonder if it works in any language other than English. Does anyone know? Also, is there something we’re supposed to understand by the use of the word “Gospel” in lieu of “Word “ in JST John 1. It’s not every time, just at the beginning..
@1:30:36 or Doctrine & Covenant 93:29…is this not the law of conservation of mass? I have always thought the law that governs this sphere, governs it physically & spiritually
You have been a light to me. I ask a favor on behalf of MORONI. I do not begrudge his statue being hoisted on top of Jesus' temples, but I fear HE DOES. You know this prophet's heart more than anyone I know. And considering your fine lesson on "who & how we worship" I had to advocate for Moroni and his true character and humble example of incredible obedience over his lifetime...even in what became a climate of pure evil. Would he seriously want or approve of his effigy being displayed ABOVE the Lord's House? Some say it's a symbol... of what? The golden calf? I just love Moroniand all of the prophets. But I'm prompted to ask, "Did he or would he ever give his consent to stand above any temple?" I sense a persistent confusion in the world about whose house the temples really are... I made a commitment when all temples were closed due to COVID that if they would open again, I would go every day. (Ask my family if I go that much. I had to move away from a nearby temple, but I stay all day now when I can brave the freeways. This keeps my average to at least one session a day. And how it has blessed me and my family and the dead... Many are true converts in the spirit world and press us to do the work.)
"Having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people" Revelation 14:6 (Angel Moroni as a resurrected glorified being sent from the presence of God to declare the everlasting Gospel in these latter days, his symbol as a herald to the world atop the temples of the Most High God as His servant
Such an excellent, clarifying lesson on this amazing section in D&C. But I’m confused. Is this not John the Beloved? You talked about John the Baptist from verse 6 and other verses. But is it John the Beloved, writer of the Gospel of John and writer of Revelation writing about seeing the baptism of Christ in vision and testifying of Christ’s divinity? And his record coming forth as scripture, verse 18. 🤔
One other thought. Verse 25…” more or less than this is the spirit of that wicked one “….I always think of the Amish, as beautiful as their faith is, but they deny themselves of more than God requires. One simple example is electricity and technology, but the great work of family history to accomplish God’s work requires electricity and technology. And priests who forego marriage, a sacrifice not required by Christ, but is wholly contrary to the plan of salvation. Again, more than Christ has required. Anything less than what Christ would ask of us is so reminiscent of JS’s comment that “ religion that does not require the sacrifice of all things never has the power sufficient to produce the faith necessary unto life and salvation.” The doctrine of Christ is so clearly laid out in the Book of Mormon over and over again as so well written in 2Nephi 31. More or less than this is simply not truth and not according to the requirements Christ has taught.
A “rock”concert isn’t still meditation either, it’s entertainment-what seems “underwhelming” to the observer, is often the still small voice pouring out to individual hearts. Each individual in the congregation is having to be tuned to receive the Spirit according to the obedience they give to the Lords voice, evident in their being “doers” of His word, not only “hearers” of His word in an orchestrated concert. I understand you were being generous and understanding to other forms of worship. Also I know many in and out of the gospel are both doers and hearers of the Word, which the Word is flesh in Jesus, so obedience in doing as the Word taught, and obedience in hearing The Word through the Still, small voice is worship for me-and less reliance on the “flash”,and sadly we all sometimes rely on “flash”, and not patient and diligent obedience which gently and powerfully brings the Lords Spirit and Grace.
I so much look forward to your weekly podcasts, but I found this one to be difficult to listen to as I feel you are too hard on us about reverence and worship in our chapels and the temple. Yes there are people that may dedicate their lives such as monks in a monastery, but the Lord has asked us to live in the world to be the leaven to lift those around us rather than to become recluses in a world where we hide from all the evil or worldly things, this may be good for that individual but does it lift those around him? As you state Jesus condescended to come down and live among us and he spent his time with the sinners. I feel it is important that we love our brothers and sisters, that we share our love and feelings with each other, this may mean a little irreverence at times even in a sacrament meeting but can also help them to feel loved and needed. His critics believed he was violating the sabbath and perhaps felt him irreverent by healing on the sabbath, I can imagine that many of those healed on that sabbath day perhaps rejoiced to the point of being irreverent.
Can you not just stick to section 93? your makin it appear we are incapable of understanding the doctrine of eternal progression without quoting such a lengthy argument from an unknown Joseph Addison. you are just making your discussion complicated when you can do it with more siplicity. Is the taching of the gospel complicated? Pres Nelson's message and those of the other living prophets, i.e. apostles, don't beat us around the bush with a verse by verse interpretation of the scripture. And you have the audacity to do so?
Benjamin, this is a verse by verse come follow me channel. There are lots of other shorter TH-cam channels you could check out like Book of Mormon central, don’t miss this and follow him. They might be more to your liking? This is my favourite come follow me channel precisely because he goes into the chapters verse by verse, I find is fascinating and always appreciate any extra insights. The discourse you are referring to is actually very famous I believe it’s the one with the line “as man is God once was.” I hope you find a channel that is more to your liking or perhaps you will see the wealth that comes from an in-depth study of the verse by verse approach!! I certainly have 🤗
Oh Benjamin I totally and completely disagree. It is fascinating that someone who only had the Bible could come up with these deep, intuitive thoughts.
This lesson is a masterpiece. Jared has helped me understand about WORSHIP of the Lord Jesus Christ. Is there anything more important than that?

Good morning ❤Jared Halverson and Eva
You commented earlier in the year about your attempt to hand write out the Book of Mormon at the pace it was translated.
Thank you thank you!! I'm learning the true doctrine of Jesus Christ thanks to your effort and your time.
But will you be continuing with Old Testament next year?
@@kathrynquinn6889 was that a yes for next year’s Old Testament 🤞
He has already confirmed that he would.
Thant you so much for your experiences for the examples and teaching in an
format for us to understand the scriptures. We appreciate your lessons that we share together every day. We love the scriptures and we try every to be like Jesus. We share our Aloha
of Love and Understanding of learning with You.
Wonderful hopefully we endure till GLORIOUS SECOND COMING 😊 AMONG 5 WISE VIRGINS ..... SMILING 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊
I Love this lesson, I have listened to it twice so far.
Cool philosophical aspects. Have a great weekend & Sabbath day ahead everyone!
Thank you so much for this lesson. I will be teaching this Section on Sunday and appreciate the insights that you’ve given me
Thank you for reminding me to take the time, 'to indeed take time', to pray whole heartedly. I too sometimes hurry my own prayers, and get complaints from others when I whole heartedly pray. I need to Remember who I am talking to, and not let others influence how I pray. But remember WHO I am talking to.
Thank you
Its a hard balance to have.
Thank you so much for this lesson. I took the comments regarding time spent in the Celestial room especially to heart.
Your discussion on how we worship reminds me of a quote from Bishop Gérald Caussé. "Are we active in the gospel, or are we merely busy in the Church?"
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you!
Is there any chance that you can “post” your classes so that we could watch them??? I’m sadly beyond Institute age but would LOVE to be able to see them!! Thank you for all you do for us!! I love your classes! As a convert I never had a chance to attend seminary and so this is my seminary! 😊❤️
Janet Robinson, can we be friends on facebook?
@@NsTheName I'd be shocked if they don't let you attend class.
Contact your local institute, they may hold classes for adults too; my local institute does. Only one or two classes, not the same quantity as YSA but they're still great.
Love these older video's they really helped me, give me so much information

All creations are of God, we oft times forget to thank Him for the inspiration and guidance. All things are His, even concrete! Ha Ha! ( time 43:50)
General Conference April 1967, priesthood session: David O. McKay gave a wonderful talk about coming into the presents of God through meditation.
Thanks a lot for your indepth insights very uplifting!!
I have not the eloquence to convey my feelings of gratitude for the way you enrich my soul so I shall just say thank you
Remember what Prophet said, something like he would work with one hand and hold off evil ones with a gun in the other hand
What a time.
Thank you!
I am in NYC, so I second this thought
This reminds me of a book I felt inspired to read entitled, "The Power of Stillness" It was a wonderful explanation of how prayer and our other ordinances can help us create mindfulness and peace in our lives.
Who is the author?

Thank you very much for your show. I love it.
I like the idea of worshipping, are we worshipping or just being active.
About last phrase in 93:52 ' you shall not be confounded in this world, nor in the world to come."
How is there potential to be confounded in the world to come?
Growing, always thinking about how can I help others with any thing
And this Covid is very hard in the area where I live even so many people are not getting the Vaccine like our Prophet said it's a good thing to have done. Many in my family have gotten it and some people in the area are not, I am disabled and have many things to deal with, but put my faith in God and the Church
I had my children vaccinated and the health department do it Free,or in most states
I read to them as well as in my stomach and as a baby, they started to read as a early age, never spoke baby language and they spoke well, understand people better, they learned to reading from scripture books.
Can you send me your flo chart
Beautiful way to start many things.
Brother Halverson,
i also wonder about addressing the matter of the existence before we met God. I wish the brethren would canonize and name that nowhere at the beginning of Lehi's dream.

Is there any way we can have copies of the quotes that you have used in your presentations? Thank you so much for these wonderful presentations. I listen to them on my walks. So inspirational!
Could you put your institute class on zoom?
Thank you.
It is for Church ran schools. So BYU-I, BYU, BYU-H and Ricks College.
Hello. I've also been listening to your Book of Mormon videos. Please check out your 'Come Follow Me - Alma 13-16 (part 2): "Enter Into the Rest of the Lord" ' video for my comment. I believe it may be of great interest to you. It's because you again mentioned your grampa'.
So, how would a man of letter-Jared Halverson, put it in simple term the answer to the question at hand -the HOW of worship, based on section 93?
Well, I'm no where in Brother Halverson's league, but I am guessing it's what he said in the lesson..."Adoration, (worship) through Emulation. When we emulate the Savior in everything we do, we ARE worshipping Him.
I was ask this question
Okay,we get put on different levels of heaven the Celestial,Terlestal,, and the Teletal
Is there a chance ever a chance for the others in the other 2 levels to advance?
I told the person I read we get put where we are happy at finally.
But I will ask someone that is a very good teacher
So please get back to me
Is there ever anything those on the other 2 levels for advance to going because of continuing to study and praying for help for growth?

If someone has reached the point of condemnation by unholy living, can that be reversed by repentance ? What ever the sin is?
Oh yes my dear. Asking this question is the start of repentance. As you continue you will find He is a God of love 💕
"Having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people" Revelation 14:6
(Angel Moroni as a resurrected glorified being sent from the presence of God to declare the everlasting Gospel in these latter days, his symbol as a herald to the world atop the temples of the Most High God as His servant
IS YOUR CLASS OFFERED AS AN "ONLINE" CLASS? CAN ANYONE AUDIT THE CLASS IF THEY PAY THE TUITION?

Pres Nelson's message and those of the other living prophets, i.e. apostles,
don't beat us around the bush with a verse by verse interpretation of the scripture.
