      Jonetta Knight what i was alluding to was that Sebi stated many times " your food is your medicine"... not getting at the particular details of what exact foods he approved... but that he was a major champion of health and reversing illnesses by way of changing diet and eating foods that work better with our genetic composition

    I co-sign this interview! I had fibroids, heavy bleeding, & excruciating cramps at 20. I changed my diet because it was the cool thing to do at my college but after a year my fibroids couldn't be detected. I didn't and still don't get cramps. Not as disciplined as I should be with my diet but after a decade and 2 kids I still feel great and energized.

      I cut meat, at first just fish but then cut that completely. Then I cut any processed vegetarian foods and soy. It was a process . literally just ate whole fruits and veggies and sometimes rice and even bread here and there (lots of Ethiopian bread). I fell off the wagon when I had pregnancy cravings and on my channel you can see Ive even done the hot noodle challenge (straight garbage lol). so im def not perfect but I know changing my food impacted my health and my mind

      Cold renegade why because they’re not old white men who sell you on pharmaceuticals? It’s like our ppl are trained to think because some of US are in higher platforms that we must be running a scam or as you said, a hip hop group. They look like real ppl to me that I can relate to. How would you feel if u walked into a job interview and thought you looked like a hip hop artist or “thug” because you’re black, when really i may be a serious professional looking for a job and a hardworker? Watch what you say. your comment was dumbfounded and exactly what the oppressor wants.

    • @msubiquitouslove
      @msubiquitouslove 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Smh reading through these comments, our people man. They're so stuck on the fact that "these guys are not 'traditional' doctors, they're not MDs they're only natural doctors" and "they don't LOOK like doctors" (why, because they're not white in ties obviously and black people only trust white people). You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. These guys specifically said western doctors' main objective is not to heal or cure you but to make you sicker, get you on pills and turn you into their industries cash cow. Where is the lie in that? Black people will NEVER progress as long as they don't trust each other, they trust white people before they trust people that look like themselves.

    • @coldrenegade9046
      @coldrenegade9046 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      ummm you know i dont recall saying anything about them not being real doctors? I just said what they LOOKED like in this interview a comment which by the way was clearly a fuckin joke for those who like to read to much into shit and arent smart enough to figure that out. So please miss me with this ''what the oppressor wants'' bullshit and go find something better to do than waste your life overly criticizing a fuckin joke in the comment section.

    OMG thank you breakfast club. I was suffering with fibroids for years. And just like the guest said they told me "no worries" we'll just monitor it and they tripled and grew massive until i had surgery when one of my tumors grew to the size of a baby head. the surgery cost me $1700 out of pocket, not including what my health insurance already covered. Thank you guys again for educating the public

    • @ifgodwz1ovus
      @ifgodwz1ovus 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sorry that you went through that Melissa....but my question to this panel would be, how can one encourage a physician to NOT wait? It’s very difficult to find an MD, who thinks outside of the box, at risk of standard protocol and their licensure. I don’t know that you would have had any other actual options than to wait. I hope you are feeling better and that they do not return.

      I really like what they are teaching, and I think there is much substance in this interview... although I am curious if they are really doctors in the traditional sense . I know they have the title, but upon researching their credentials they are "Doctor of Indigenous Naturopathy & Medicine under the Aboriginal Health Ministry and Aboriginal Medical Association" which I don't believe is recognized in the same sense as a MEDICAL DOCTOR. I am not sure if they are M.D.

    I salute these 3 for discussing some important issues affecting us. But we have to agree to disagree on "women are not supposed to bleed". I am junior surgeon in the UK working in one of the biggest women/paediatric centres in the world and take it from me, that is not true. Oestrogen is not something you can "naturally switch on and off" unless you take contraceptive pills. But like i said, they did well discussing important topics.

      And I back what you’re saying and would like to add as a TYPE ONE diabetic since age five having been the subject of many decade long studies, Type ONE is not a disease of inflammation as is it’s often confused counterpart, the far more common, TYPE 2 Diabetes. The doctor seated in the middle made a reversal of type 1 claim, as does Dr Afrika. This is irresponsible and disarming to say the least. Type One is akin to being born without eyes; where Type 2 is being born with eyes and full vision then over the years scraping at the eyes theefvy inhibiting vision (metaphorically speaking). TYPE ONE - the organ does not work; it is NOT a disease of lifestyle, it is currently incurable (but best maintained with a stellar diet).
      This panel is appreciated but the perpetuated misinterpretation of TYPE 1 versus Type 2 creates for Type ONES a stigma that can be life threatening.

    • @TonioXenon
      @TonioXenon 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      J so your basis for saying "women ARE supposed to bleed" is that you are a junior surgeon in a big women/pediatric center? So we should just "take it from you"? THAT IS NOT A RELIABLE SOURCE! You need FACTS sir. How many of those women in the hospital are vegan? Not many right? Thats why they bleed more because their bodies are not completely healthy so its trying to cleanse itself. Ask 10 vegan women if they bleed heavy, light or not at all and you will learn the truth through your own research.

    • @oki2660

    $103 for the mini 7 day cleanse?
    I rather spread knowledge for free on how to take over your health than to charge for the detoxes?
    That's just me.
    I didn't know some veggies could be harmful. That's hard for me to get my mind around.
    I think there is a right and wrong way to do things.
    Vegans who eat only oreos won't be healthy.
    but a vegan who has a balanced diet with fruits and veggies and legumes and grains, thats different.
    I know a woman who is pregnant from transitioning into vegetarian, vegan, and raw vegan lifestyle.
    I think spreading knowlege that people can incorporate into their everyday life is important, knowledge is power.
    We already have been bombarded all of our life with how dairy was suppose to build healthy bones and we didnt have to pay for that,
    but now we gotta pay to learn important things that can change everyone's life????
    People may say screw that I take my chances and just continue to do what theyve been doing
    I'm new in this vegan came, but I can feel my health turning around. Yes i enjoy oreos occassionally but my diet is much more balanced now that I don't rely on meat sources for ANYTHING.
    I was able to start thinking outside of the box on what to make that is enjoyable to eat but still healthier for me.
    Baby spinach is bad for you - I'm not convinced yet. But I'm not going to pay $103 to be convinced.
    Reading journals, studies that have been done, my own personal experience and documentaries that I can find and research and those who share with me is probably better than me paying to find out.
    Being vegan I haven't been sick (I work with a sick population and I use to get sick with something monthly to frequently)
    My body feels horrible if I have meat now or dairy (I'm lactose intolerant anywhoo)
    But when I eat fruits or veggies I don't get sick or have adverse effects even if I haven't had a certain one in a long time, but the minute I avoid meat/dairy, when I go back to it my body isn't having it. So I take that as a sign.
    Just wanted to share my thoughts.

Stop thinking OUR ppl are trying to scam or get over on US. Whether you buy it or not, take heed to the free information. Some of our black ppl are stupid and will always be oppressed because your mind is trained to think in such way towards our ppl. Let’s see the support your ass gets when u start a business. I’m a business owner and ALL my clients are black. A white person actually tried to take advantage of me and that failed. Support your ppl. We need each other.

    • @TheSKYYLife

      I don't have to rely on medications currently because I don't get sick, I do need to drink more water, but I also have a doctor who doesn't push pills down my throat. At this time, I don't take medication that includes OTC. I do have migraines which I am figuring out (FOR ME) its related to low blood sugars. Your cell use GLUCOSE for energy so yes, some glucose is definitely necessary. But our american diet is just TOO saturated (and saturated with non-natural sources)
      They do have very valid points and a lot of things we aren't taught because our system wasn't ever met for us to know the truth.
      Doctors have to actively learn more about nutrition bc they are taught far more what pills do for what than what natural products can do.
      I just hate that we have to pay SO MUCH that most people realistically who say "eating healthy is expensive" which is not in my mind, but those same people don't have the $103 for a 7 DAY CLEANSE when they have families.
      I can use the same $103 and redirect what I get at the grocery store and lasts longer than 7 days.
      We DO need to SUPPORT OUR PEOPLE.
      BUT if people are already saying fruits & veggies are expensive.. I don't see where they will get $103 at minimum for a 7 day cleanse. So we are yet again, not thinking of OUR PEOPLE WHO MAY NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD. WE are pushing them further and further away from the truth.
      I think there should be another level for those who want to know more but have families, maybe not have any family support, and don't know how to start. Maybe a simple grocery list or recipe ideas for a cheaper price could help get anyone started! I'm not sure if they do payment plans but that could help also. No one should be afraid of SUGGESTIONS especially from POTENTIAL CONSUMERS.
      If they don't hear their consumers out, they won't have the consumers they choose to ignore.
      hahah sorry for the LONG reply. I see where you were coming from, but realistically not everyone can afford that. And just because they can't afford it, doesn't mean they just be stuck getting $1 Mcdonald's hamburgers. They should have something they can afford too, something that can BEGIN to change their life.

    "What the Health" was such an impactful documentary. All my friends either attempted or became vegan after watching it. HOWEVER, I'm so happy these specialists addressed what I personally thought was an issue with the documentary; it promoted carbohydrates, instead of addressing the DANGERS of sugar. It focused solely on the toxicity of meats (which is true) but ignored the other elephant in the room; sugars equally toxic levels to the body.

    I️ wish you all had been around several years ago... My girlfriend passed away at the age of 42 after her doctor placed her birth control pill to regulate her cycle and treat fibroids. This cause her to have blood clots and eventually a brain aneurysm. She changed her diet but with no direction she ate what she felt was right. Since the BC pills were already in her blood stream it was hard to reverse the damage.
    I️ hope women are listening and start to challenge their Doctors. Doctors are only their to practice medicine and if you don’t do your own research you’ll be on 20 different pills with NO CURE.

      I agree that a whole food plant based diet is fantastic for health, because this is based on actual scientific evidence and real life application for millions of people. But some of their specific recommendations are questionable.

    very interesting discussion, i had the heavy periods frm age 20, given the pill to control. Later when i was older prescribed mefanemic acid tablets. Then told i had fubroids 5years ago, not removed. Told they would shrink when i reached the menopause, doctors said i had polpys, removed twice, still the same problems heavy periods up to age 47. Now going through the menopause and suffering with sinus problems, which from what i can gather from what your guess are disscussing could be a flamatory problem. Moral of my story the doctors gave me medication to try control the problem. im from the uk and this is a very common problem with some of the uk doctors pills and more pills. Please bring these guess back. 😊

    She's trying to come off as an expert without having the medical background very annoying. I hope she feels very embarrassed when she watches this, yelling over everyone isn't going to make us think you're an expert.

    I️ don’t think I’m going to be eating less white potatoes anytime soon but as a vegan for 3 years I’m so proud that black people are speaking to us about our health. I️ eat fruit all day and have cooked food about after 6pm so I️ don’t think sugar is bad, I️ think it just matters on the source. Sugar is guilty by association.
