      Problem is that today black ppl think a “black community” equates to when a black man dates a black woman and when we “act black” Outside of those two weird ass low bar prerequisites, nobody gives a shit about the violence, the obvious through-line of how our women need as much change, the health culture, self esteem issues nobody talks about those OBVIOUS issues..

      @Yammy UnoUno another piece worthy of discussion is how to broadcast through global media platforms the productive things the Black community does in the world. Can you or anyone reading this name productive things, to quote you, "kids these days" are doing off the top of their heads? There are Black youth who are doing amazing things in the world but I don't know about it like I know another rapper has just been shot by someone he knew or during an argument that got out of hand with some random stranger.

      What the black community don't understand is that white (skin) supremacy is based on Patriarchy.
      Racism loves to worship masculine strength but dispised in their ideology the weak femininity = (this is the wound - the weak point of racism).
      You can't remove racism without removing the Patriarchy/ male supremacy! Because they are deeply connected.
      To erase racism you have to uplift femininity, because racism is based on male supremacy (the patriarchy)
      Women are the solution to erase the system of oppression, because the system benefits from female powerlessness ... and benefits also from masculine strength (patriarchy).

    Awesome! Dr. Umar speaks truth. We as a black people are the only race that does not support or respect its own. We would rather support those who ridicule and hate us. We choose to wear others names on our backs to feel worthy. We’d rather impress than address issues facing us today. We will March down a street screaming and yelling Black Lives Matter, but care less about our killing one another. It saddens me to see our black youth giving up their entire lives for criminal elements, gang associations, and then believe they are validated behind prison walls. It is a vicious cycle. Our eyes are open, yet we are still blind. God help us. Remove the scales from our eyes so that we may see that the things of this world are in place for a black man’s demise. We are so distracted that we sit back allowing others to steal our identity, dignity and self respect. We as a people are a rich Nation of One. Imagine if that One came together. It is my prayer that we heal our hearts and minds, and break the curse of evil that alienates us from becoming the gifted people of God that we are.
    Together we we are no longer a minority but majority. Stay Woke!

Besides, I'm college educated and have a good paying and if I choose to buy a Mercedes Benz or a pair of Jordan's Umar cannot dictate to me. Therefore I am my own man and I choose to spend my money the way I like no matter how Umar feels.

    Preach, Dr. Johnson! Preach! I feel the good doctor on the argument of the importance for a black man to have a skill that enables him to provide for his family. In South African, there used to be technical high schools where learners would graduate with skills in plumbing, electricity, etcetera. However, they did away with these schools in favor of an academic curriculum. The result is that South Africa has so many unemployed university graduates. I also agree that the biggest hurdle to the progression and success of the African community is unity, or, put more appropriately, the lack thereof. Dr. Johnson is a very important voice in the African community.

      So Just because you have married within your community, does that mean you have improved or fixed anything? Does that mean you have made an impact. In my opinion if dosen't matter who gets married to who, as long as people are not building projects in their communities, doing any charity work, making donations or making themselves usefull members of society, they are not doing anything helpful.

    • @verolthompson502
      @verolthompson502 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sharon, I know the black family is in an irredeemable . I am concern that black women find it necessary to have to weave the hair of others into their head, to look more like European than African. An Indian friend of mine said she donate her hair at the temple as a gift to the gods, and that hair is been sold to black women.
      What business does a black woman has coming in contact with this kind of product? What kinds of spirits is she associating herself with. The head is supposed to be the crown, that is where your thought processes are, and therefore, with this kind of thinking, what happens to the child who is being fed her milk?
      We are lost..and until we return to our God, the one who created us first, in His own image, we are doomed. Deuteronomy 28 has the answer to our plight, only if we could read it.

    • @sharonwashington9114
      @sharonwashington9114 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      VEvolutionary Thompson that's because of a systemic beauty standard that has saturated the minds of many black women. Too many of us don't value the versatility that our own hair has. We don't value our natural beauty. As children many of us were taught to be ashamed of our kinks and coils from a very young age. We are just getting back to appreciating our natural beauty and we have a far ways to go because the standard of beauty that continues to be pushed as acceptable and professional is silky straight hair. That's why we rarely see our black successors wearing their natural crowns. They profit off of our insecurity we spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on their standard of beauty, so of course they want us to feel ugly with our natural selves. Black women receive few of the dollars back from the beauty industry. You can even see how white people are trying to capitalize off of the natural hair movement as we speak.

      Plato's republic there is a book called Dark Alliance. It was written by a white investigative journalist named Gary Webb so you should feel comfortable reading it. It proves the federal governments association with the filtering of drugs into the black communities. Years after proving the connection, Gary was found in his car with two gunshots to the head. It was sought as a suicide. Two gunshots to the head.

    • @platosrepublic6965

      who's cares if the journalist is white and why bring it up at all? All that matters is the journalist claims and his proof to back it up. In this case, Webb made an extraordinary claim and this needs extraordinary proof which he didn't provide such and was thrown out by major publications but, let's say this conspiracy theory he made up is true which it's not. Don't black have have own agency over their lives or did the CIA forcibly drug each and every single black person in their neighborhood?
