8:10 fun fact to share with your daughter….the whistles you hear from this point, notice there’s no keyboards or flute, the HU are doing that with their mouths and throats, it’s a style of Mongolian throat singing called Khumei, the low deep harmonic drone they do is the other style of Mongolian throat singing called Kargyraa (which I actually can kinda do, taught myself as a child trying to mimic a digerydoo, just didn’t know it was actually Mongolian throat singing that I was doing). Also Mongolian throat singing is considered to be one of Man’s oldest forms of music.

This is the best folk metal song yet. Grai "In the arms of Mara" is a bit purer an example of the genre but c'mon...Lzzy Hale wrote a masterpiece here that is worthy to interweave with The Hu's traditional hymn.
