    I used 21% of my iPhone 13 Pro battery health in just over a year of use, wireless charging at night, and fast charging in the car every day (to top up). Now I use a 5W cable at night and don’t top in the car, I am at 100% battery health after 4 months of use.

      So what you're saying is that you had your battery replaced? I just had my 12 pro battery health hit 79% this year and just had my battery replaced last weekend (7/14/23) after 2 years of heavy use. I have been using fast chargers all day everyday and am afraid to degrade the battery too quick again

      @@banana_sackboy I had a fast charger in my car too, and typically it would top it up from about 70% ish to 100% but also give it lots of extra heat. I’m at 100% now, slow charge nightly with a 5W cable and have had the “iPhone too hot, shutting down notification” twice on hot days recently.

    Best way to mantain your iphone battery is: dont let them go below 20%, use 5w charger at night and just when you are in a rush use the 20w but not in your car, completely forget about wireless or magsafe charging, because is slow and gets warm. By doing this i have an iphone 13 with 90% in two years of extensive use.

    The chemical reaction that goes on in the battery during fast charging naturally generates heat so blowing cold air outside won’t really prevent battery degradation. Even EVs have coolant flowing through their battery packs to keep the temps down and over time the batteries still degrades.

    • @shubhankarsse

    i’ll say from experience, it might. i never babied my iphone 7 plus since new. charging it overnight, using powerbanks, car charger, playing multiple matches of PUBG nearly daily for some time, etc. i bought it in march 2017 and haven’t had a battery change. today, i still use it as my secondary phone & modem for my laptop, and it’s currently at 72% battery health.
    then there’s my iphone 13 pro. haven’t changed the battery as well, and it’s currently at 74% capacity 🤣 i kinda babied it ever since it reached 78%, avoiding charging overnight & using car chargers and yet it still degrades so fast. i don’t even play heavy games like PUBG anymore. so if i had to guess, either the battery quality has went down, or maybe it’s because of fast charging.

      @merlevaughnchatindo9579 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This isn’t true, the heat generated from a fast charger isn’t enough to cause substantial damage to your phones battery health. All fast chargers are MFI (made for iPhone) so they are fitted with a special chip that regulates how fast the phones being charged -this controls the temperature- and although you may think your is too hot while fast charging, it’s the right temperature.

  • @SteevWho
    @SteevWho หลายเดือนก่อน

    Bad habits from Apple users, leaving their phones on a charger overnight, is one of the main culprits. If you fast charge your phone, and pay attention, it will trickle charge once it hits 90%. If you leave your phone on a charger after it is full, it slightly discharges then tops it back off, which is bad for any device with a lithium battery. Charge your phone and pull it off when it’s full. This is more apparent with laptops as people have a tendency to leave their laptops plugged in, a lot. This degrades the battery immensely. Your phone needs to go through it cycles as normal, and not left on a charger for long periods of time after it tops off. The whole battery Health monitor on iPhones is just a way to keep you paranoid, and help them with giving you less money via trade in. Same as them putting overpowered chipsets in their phones and not allowing you to use all the horsepower. They put those in there so your phone stays running after 4+ years. Are we to assume ladies have hot asses? I thought your comment on women putting their phones in their back pockets hilarious. Interesting take nonetheless.
