Hey man. I only have one single concern about this and it's not in the concept or design, which is brilliant indeed. Once I was working far up north at a mining camp and me and my crew were getting sick. It turned out to be the water bottles, which were sealed, but expired. After time the cheap plastic was degrading and seeping into the water on a molecular level. Now for this to be deadly, it requires the water to sit for a duration of time under these circumstances, but the fact of the matter is that this is a very real concern. Now if we're in the bush and pushing our bodies to the limits, there is a small chance that we could be tainting our water with degrading materials, or even glues that aren't food safe. So all that said, I think you're a genius and ahead of your time, and I also think you should be an entrepreneur, but I also recommend addressing the potential problem that I've presented in order to work towards equipment design perfection. Totally valid concern, this is somthing that has crossed my mind as well. Especially when you first get a plastic bottle, (even my Nalgene which i have used for years) has a bit of that “chemically” smell when you first open it so automatically my mind goes to possible contamination or carcinogens or micro plastics etc. That said, the Manufactuer of these bottles (Decor Australia) claim that these bottles are “BPA free, food safe, dishwasher, freezer safe” and can withstand having booking water poured into them with out any risk to the health of the user or degradation to the bottle itself. Though as we all know things do not always mean what we think it means (ie. see how a book gets on the NY Best Sellers’ list ). Without knowing exactly how the materials used were tested and how safty compliance was ensured that is always going to be that level of risk which the end user would pay the Price for in the end. Ultimately, i think From what we know about plastics there will always be an inherent risk to both our Health and our environment when using plastics - given that it is in almost everything we use ommitting it in one application may not have as much impact as we would hope, but certainly we should seek to minimize the risk any time we can. (Another potential concern could be the “epoxy” used to glue the bottle neck to the Decor cap which would be in direct contact with the water or whatever your beverage of choice)

Great work. I really like the bottle, the convertube and your mod. Just wish Platatac sold the Decor in Canada still. When I looked into it last video you showed I reached out to them but it was a ridiculous shipping cost from Australia. The search continues. Nate
Just make sure that when you cut the hole to make it just a bit smaller than the Evian Bottle neck diameter so it fits snug. Also the you need to cut a hole in the round foam thing on the inside of the Decor flask cap as well as you will need to reinstall this or else your bottle will leak.
