Thought about Rukarumel? Not only plays every sliver with the world tree but goes infinite with mana echoes & intruder alarm. Two synergies for win conditions.
With Sliver slots in the 99 so hotly contested, adding Rukarumel does not seem to be overly impactful as we can pull off various infinites already. ALTHOUGH, her presence in our Jenson Carthalion WUBRG deck has been most impressive!
Love the deck, very well made! I am building my own right now, and am curious about cascading into suspend cards. You mention that casting a 1-mana sliver can cascade into a Sol Talisman, which has a suspend 3 cost of also 1-mana. Does that mean that cascade treats the casting cost of all suspend cards as 0-mana value? Could I technically cast a 1 mana sliver and cascade into a Profane Tutor? (Suspend 2 -- 1B). Thank you for all the card inspiration though! Found a bunch of good ones
So happy to see that this video was helpful! Also, thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate them. Yes, if you were to cast a one-CMC Sliver with cascade, you could cascade into a Profane Tutor, Mox Tantalite, Sol Talisman, etc. Suspend treats cards as 0 mana value as long as there is no converted mana cost on the top right hand corner of the card. Happy brewing, and once again, thanks for the great comments!
You have to make Sliver decks as overpowered and broken as possible, because even a deck worse than the worst precon is automatic archenemy as soon as you reveal the sliver in the leader slot.
I've used this for heavy inspiration building my own first sliver deck, but I don't run Alluren & Cloudstone Curio. Question. What Slivers would you be quickest to put in if you were no longer as concerned about keeping the curve below 4?
Great question, and one that I ask myself a lot whenever I consider taking out the Aluren/Curio combo. I would find places for these Slivers if I weren't concerned with a CMC of less than four: Bonescythe for double strike, Dormant for card-draw, Essence for life gain, Magma for a combat win condition, Brood for creating more Slivers, Psionic for a direct damage win condition, Pulmonic for additional evasion and Sliver card resilience, Thorncaster for direct damage, and Megantic for buffing.
@@mtgburgeoning3205 I have Hatchery Sliver for replicate, 3 2-Cost +1/+1 Slivers, and Morophon for +1/+1. If I want +3/+3 I can replicate one of the 2-Cost anthem Slivers for the same cost as Megantic. So I really didn't think Megantic is worth it. Do you disagree?
@@LtScooby_ If I weren't overly concerned with cmc, then I would include the Megantic if combat is your primary path to victory. Think of the Megantic as three of the +1 +1 Slivers. Equal overall mana values, except the investment of six mana is a bit steeper for just one creature. However, if your board is filled with Slivers, Megantic could be a win condition.
I prefer the lower CMC of Patriarch's Bidding, ALTHOUGH I have been experimenting with a few different cards in this deck that may become permanent changes, and Haunting Voyage is one of them. We shall see!
First to show the Slivers some love. Lol
#1 for some Sliver love!

Oh man, i love Slivers
YES! I think it is mandatory for all Magic players haha!

100% correct. I have never felt any different. Once any of these Sliver engines start to rev, it's game over.
And I misquote. “ If you’re not 4th your last.” - Nicky Bobby ( Ricky’s cousin)
There's always enough room aboard this Sliver love train!

@@mtgburgeoning3205 Essence over Syphon?
@@LtScooby_ Whoops. No, not at all. I hadn't considered that Syphon would ALREADY be in the 99. Syphon over Essence for sure.

Why patriarch bidding and not Haunting Voyage?

Is Bonescythe not in the build due to it's mana cost?
Exactly. There was a quick note about Bonescythe near the end of the video.
3rd 🙂
