If you want to spend a couple dollars extra, you can substitute Birthing Boughs out for Maskwood Nexus, which not only has the same activated ability for one mana cheaper, but also makes every creature you control, whether they are on or off the battlefield, every creature type. This would allow you to cascade with Averna as well as any other non-sliver creature you might add to the deck. Another thing that I forgot to mention is that Maskwood Nexus combos with The World Tree (a Kaldheim rare land). You can tap The World Tree for WWUURRBBGG to sacrifice it and search your library for any number of God cards and put them on the battlefield. The Maskwood Nexus, however, would make your slivers every creature type, allowing you to pay ten mana to instantly cast every single sliver in your library for free. Both cards are only about $2-3 each
1:50 Keep in mind that when you cast The First Sliver and it cascades, it is has not resolved yet, meaning the sliver you cascade into won't yet have cascade. Only once The First Sliver resolves and is in play will all your other sliver spells have cascade and can cascade off each other. Ancestral Visions is great tech in this deck.
is it worth investing so much more, as in does it make your deck that much stronger? Or do you consider this also as pretty strong. As I still question the power level of the deck.
While it's a bit of an expensive card (currently at $11 at the lowest on TCGPlayer (at the moment of this comment)) Timeless Lotus is a 5 drop that ETBs tapped, but taps for one of every color. Also why the hell do you only have 115 subs? I guess I am 116. 100% gonna buy the deck (minus the cards I have). Thanks for this vid!
"If The First Sliver's own cascade ability lets you cast another Sliver card, that Sliver won't have cascade." The First Sliver only cascades once. Every other sliver after that cascades till the end...
Seems OP, good vid

This is an awesome combo for this deck, thanks for the idea!
@@cadenerickson4718 Which two cards should be removed to adds these two?
That's a very nasty 2 card combo. Especially as you upgrade the deck with more sliver legends like hivelord and legion.
This video is pretty cool, the quality of the video is top notch, keep up the good work!👍
This was a great video, very informative and well edited, and I always love seeing budget friendly commander decks.

A great piece of advice I didn’t think about, thank you!

This is a very soothing and informative video. Hope you make more down the line
Solid video, really smooth editing
For the hive!
As someone with an 800-1000 Sliverscade deck, this is a very interesting deck

What could i change for it
You forgot some slivers but I like it a lot

how much was the first sliver at the time?
Chromatic lantern is also a great include since it's about $3-$5 after the reprint. Also reflecting pool would also be a great grab after the reprint.
Is this on moxfield?
isnt the first sliver itself 55$?
i wanted to buy this deck! I wanted to know has anyone actually played this deck out? How does it run? Is it worth buying?
I have played it a bunch with my friends and they always get annoyed when I pull it out. It tends to win pretty often with the group I play with.
@@cadenerickson4718 awesome thank you for the response! I will definitely be buying this deck tech!
