Hey, I've been wondering about the Eco Idle mode in my Perodua. If I leave it on, will the engine still turn off and on by itself when I'm stuck in traffic, even with the Kommu device installed?
Once you engage with KommuAssist, the Eco Idle mode will be disabled so the engine wont turn off when you stuck in traffic. KommuAssist will auto brake and gas for you in traffic jam

does kommu can handle car in hilly/slope road situation? ex: going up to cameron highland or kundasang
yes, depending on car model. Proton geely models and BYD have strong steering torque, and can perform steep cornering
question : is it possible in the future to have radar (as oppose to camera) on ur device?

It can also work during night driving too
Kinda wondering if kommuassist helped with ADB/AHB since the there is additional camera?
No since our system only enhances the adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist function, thus we don't interfere with other functions.

the stock ACC in Perodua can't but with KommuAssist, the car can now do stop & go

it is still a level 2 AD system, responsibility is on the driver, driver should only engage in appropriate scenario.
does it apply brakes before cornering ?
it will apply a slight braking when cornering

no, there's no policy in Malaysia for self driving yet. However, ACC and LKA are built in features which already come with the car.
