I have never seen a man like this before!! With all the passion for what he does.. and the fact is..doesn't matter which keyboard brand he is introducing.. I will definitely hire him to sell mine!!! You're great man!!
Say what you will.... this is the best product specialist I have ever seen. Usually takes others at least twice the time to go through what he did. Very well done.
Having a lot of tools in my arsenal, such as Montage, or other analog synthesizers, I very often go to my ES7 and spend many hours behind it. This is an amazing Motif series, ES7 will be used by me for many many years) I send greetings to all the owners of the Motif ES series, you are beautiful💪💪
@KushLesko From what I can tell this synth is aimed at players that want a wide range of realistic sounds and I think it delivers. If you wanted up to date sounds then you need to be using analogue and programming your sounds or the latest software plugins or something like a V-synth.
If you are going to spend time doing something (this is if, you can even make a decent composition to begin with), spend the time learning and experimenting with processing. Compressors, Limiters, Eq, Reverb, delay etc. Once you know exactly how they work, and techniques used, and you can hear the impact you can make with the simplest bass drum sample(sometimes its only needed to trigger the fx chain), you'll be flying. Next step is understanding where everything sits in the frequency spectrum
O melhor motif pois a placa de som dele equipada foi a melhor, jogando um som com um punch violento para o PA, junto com o jogo de teclas, que praticamente não gasta.
hi eliecalano!:D The choice of keyboard depends on its use. If you play in gigs, and want to have the best song writing tool, then MotifES61 is the way to go.But if you wish to play at home,w/ some accompaniment, PSRs900 is very good. But IMO, if the price tag is not an issue, I'd definitely go for the MotifES61!i'm a Filipino who used to work for Yamaha musical instruments here in the Philippines, play keyboard too. hope i was able to help!:D
I've had an ES6 for years and I've never gotten the whole sequencer thing figured out. Fortunately, I midi in to Sonar for alot of stuff, and/or just capture the audio of an ES font. So considering I'm not using a good percentage of its capabilities, I'm still able to get done what I need with it. I will look for 'ease of use' as a criteria for my next keyboard tho. Motif has a different set of menus depending on the mode yer in, sometimes thats quite a pain.
Yes you can. Here is a guide. Due to the ignorant policy of NOT allowing URLs in You Tube, I can not give you the guide. Therefore, I will tell you to put in "Fruity Loops and Motif ES" in google. You will find that the very first link has your answer. It is on the Future Producers website under forums. Good Luck.
Really? I bought my ES8,brand new, a few months ago. SamAsh was trying to sell their remaining stock before introducing the XS models. I still have to explore the machine's capabilities. Thanks for the info.
Watching this years later, I can say it's pretty cheesy. But Bert's enthusiasm and playing are spectacular (check out other videos) and my Motif ES7 (bought in 2006) still sounds amazing and gets regular use in my studio. Wouldn't mind upgrading, of course...the XF is looking sharp.
Am I seeing things? Or, does the keys appear to be compressing by themself when the music starts? At first I said it was the shadow from his arm but, even when he puts his hands in his lap the keys still appear to be moving.
HELP! one question, i was thinking of getting a triton studio 61 key, but it has no usb just cd and floppy, HOW do i send the beat that i made on a triton or ANY workstation and port it to the computer ( do i need usb for that) or how please help!!!
Can someone help me choose a keyboard? Should I get this Yamaha Motif ES or the Yamaha PSR-s900? I can't decide which one to get. They're both sound good for creating music.
This guy is the best product demonstrator ever!
Agreed👌👌👌
The greatest in the history of product demonstrators 😂❤

Dope video, this workstation is sick even in 2014.

Your studio is still incomplete without yamaha motif

Even tho I actually play guitar, I git a kick out of playing guitar stuff n2 da Motif sequencer.

The cheese factor of this video is massive, and i love it!
I love this guy! He demoed the MiniMo too!
Haha! This guy made me buy this thing back then. And I'm still happy with it!
He grew up in the late 60's & early 70's and never came back down....... :)
It’s all in the machine over dare, I like the one with the Bellend hammer keyboard.
This guy could sell an Eskimo a broken refrigerator :)
What a incredible guy!
Зашел ради этого чувака!
Классный обзор! У чувака, определённо, шило в одном месте :)
The algorithm works in mysterious ways... and I'm not complaining.
Great demo
I love this guy
I love the yamaha demo songs.
King of Kings!

This is Adam Savage that demonstrates the Yamaha Motif ES

Better than anything out there.

this guy is a beast
It does, the only thing the MO doesn't have is sampling. The MO is lighter though, the ES is a lil heavy.
Hi Bert,
thanks fr a great demo - coul u pl what keyboard amp that u r using ?
thanks again - cheers - Simon
I debating between the ES or XS? Obviously XS is new and has the most current technology and sounds...but ES is less expensive..
Gotta like his enthusiasm.. ;-)
+Laurence Vanhelsuwe I do, he is funny. Especially his dutch accent ; )
those were some of the tightest beats ive ever heard
Indeed.
it's a awesome instrument

такой энергичный парень, супер...
Remember all - with the Motif ES you can travel the world ;)
Oh right cheers.
I've got Reason, so i'll just use that.
Nice one mate
@maccagrabme Actually you can get outstanding pads, sci-fi, chill, and ambient voices and performances from this board.
@Lor27509 Motif ES has 1,787 Preset Apreggiators and 256 User Arpeggiators.
I'm not sure whether to get the ES or the XS. I want to get the XS but the ES is less expensive. Plus the XF is out of my price range right now.
Amazing
Don't you just LOVE this guy! LMAO!
nice machine !
thnks dude
That's cool!
I dont know if i buy a motif 6 or korg triton...??/

+Nona Dominguez You cannot overwrite the preset- banks
I had a Yamaha motif es6 after college.
