Love the channel but rarely respond. The last few years I haven’t been able to be on my boats due to multiple surgeries from injuries throughout the years. Y’all give me inspiration to keep going. I’ve got a 7 and 8 year old boys that I’d take out all the time. Myself daily almost. Not the last few year, I’ve been in bed and home from surgeries and other things life brings you. Just built another bass boat and brand new Parker 2880 XLD full loaded. Haven’t even been able to hit the water for I just started walking again. Never been depressed for anything but when you can’t do much for your family it hits you like a ton of bricks. I’m just getting back up. God Bless y’all and great stuff. 🙏
Man, id love to show you you some trolling and plunking techniques we used on the Columbia River in Washington state for steelhead and salmon. I think you can hammer some Biggins. I live in Huntsville now so it's possible

Awesome fish & congrats!! But a 9.8 isn't a 10 pounder. That's a 9 pounder, if a fish is .001 away from a 10lbs than still not a 10. Regardless it's a beast & one hell of a bass!!! I've only caught 1 fish at the double digit mark yet, last August 19th I caught my current PB an 11lb 4oz largmouth. Nothing more fun than throwing big swimbaits for huge bass in the kayak! Good luck
If you see that you've killed the fish by gut hooking it and its bleeding out dramatically, why not just keep them to eat instead of tossing it back in to die? Just curious what your reason for that is?

Live bait is alright if you plan on keeping the fish to eat but most of them are gut hooked or the gills are recked..
If you don't have a clue when to set the hook they do
