Speaks to how comfortable Korone is with Okayu that she's letting herself relax more at Okayu's than she used to. Also, stew is just that good.

honestly I am not surprised subaru is more spontaneous with hangouts. She kind of has the personality of being that one friend that hits you up to hang out in an hour.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that half the reason Subaru wanted to be an idol is so she could hang out with her peers and make more friends. She's just that outgoing, its like she knows her childhood was rough and she didn't get to enjoy it as much as other kids would have, so she is making up for lost time.

Dogs are needy, ducks... well, ducks pretty much do whatever they want, so this checks out.
I find it funny though that Korone is so reserved at other people's houses, considering whenever she has guests she goes above and beyond to make sure they're comfortable.
Seems like an influence she takes after her grandma, who she lives with. The traditional way of hosting and being a guest checks out, as well as the accents that she has.
As LG noted, in Japan, traditional people tend to be (for us) overly reserved and polite, both as a host and as a guest. Korone seems to have been raised in a traditional household, so her naturally outgoing and friendly demeanor would be tempered by her upbringing (as well as a bit of nervousness from being a bit of an introvert), thus leading to her being casual in some setting but surprisingly reserved when visiting friends or having them visit her.

So, Korone is the Japanese girlfriend that is very polite at first, but becomes a cute kind of spoiled with you as time passes, and Subaru is that bro that is fun and chill, and just comes and goes.
This almost feels like Korone is getting to the point of wanting to live together with Okayu, if not for how busy the latter has been.
Okayu once said that they couldn't live together because she fears she would allow Korone to spoil her too much and thus become a bad person. Not sure if she still feels the same since that was about a year ago I think.

I relate really hard to Korone's food thing. I don't really know why, but it feels *super* invasive to eat other people's food, even if they're offering it. So I do the exact same thing where I just won't eat when I'm at someone else's house, even good friends or family. It's really telling of how comfortable she is with Okayu that she can not only eat her food, but ask for more.
