(also by beat sage naruto we just mean he beat naruto in general, and survived his sage mode getting a full recharge numerous times and countered it etc, even when he was so tired he could barely stand tendo survived sage mode and naruto had to resort to base form against him, not that deep of a statement. there's a similar next chapter short that says pains powers surpass sage naruto's, and even if you think its just with hax and combat tactics and can outmaneuver him then that's just what we're referring to)

Pain used a big chunk of his chakra, beat all the ninjas left in the village, beat naruto and even had enough chakra to resist naruto in 7 tails form, Pain is on a godly level, if he saved his chakra, he would’ve crushed the kages and naruto

Still to this day believe Naruto and Sasuke "survived" their fights with Pain and Itachi respectively. They didn't win by any stretch and were outclassed, they simply survived opponents who basically wished to die via plot

The RAIKAGE would hit pain hard before he can even blink, because how fast the raikage is....the Tsuchikage would pulverise Pain with Particle style in seconds... ( only one pain can absorb ninjutsu )and i dont think he can absorb that jutsu that automises an entire body, like Tsuchikage tried to do with Sasuke.
Pain would get his ass kicked easy.
Pain lost to Naruto and Naruto at that level, when he was fighting Pain, would not be a match vs all 5 Kage.
For god sake Pain basically lost to Jiraiya...Jiraiya simply did not know that there are 3 more bodies, that can attack him after the genjutsu is over, after he killed the 3 bodies he was fighting against.
Even Pain said that they only won vs Jiraiya because they had that secret.

About half way through this video I realised the only reason Nagato wasn't sent to the Summit was because Obito wanted hostages, not corpses.

I agree if Danzo uses Kotoamatsukami on one of the Pains Nagato could just stop sending his chakra to it so it dies. He could potentially even just kill someone else and stick the rods in them and create a new pain body, we saw he was going to take control of Naruto with just one of the rods and Naruto needed a Kyuubi amp to resist it.

SM Jiraiya managed to take on 2 weak paths and failed to kill the 3rd getting his arm chopped off. Once he went into all 6 he died in a minute ,so from a narrative perspective a full powered pain is one another tier of prime Jiraiya.
Deva path> 5 other paths.
3 weakest paths~SM Jiraiya without it’s full man power also deva path holding back due to the sound village.
Pain killed a significant weaker Hanzo. Like Hanzo had legitimately not been working out and never had to deal with his adversaries because he hid behind his numerous bodyguards.

Danzo didn't even regain access to Kotoamatsukami until the last few seconds of his fight against Sasuke!

Yeah no chance. Ohnoki's Particle Style is their only hope, and even then they wouldn't be able to get a hit off if they didn't take out the Preta Path first. The problem is none of the five kages are especially skilled at strategy (I mean they're decent, but you would need Shikamaru or Kakashi level intellect to deal with such a huge power gap)

Every single on of Pain's summons is on the same level as Danzo's elephant and he can nearly summon an infinite amount.

She's a cool character but she just seems to scale so differently than the others. Raikage has one of the fastest base speeds in the world and punches like a brick shithouse, Gaara still has all of his sand manipulation abilities without Shukaku, Onoki can delete things out of existence, Danzo has ten Get Out of Jail Free cards, and Mei can... spit lava.

The raikague could blitz him in seconds so unless tendo one shots the raikague, with his lightning style armour very unlikely, pain will fall eventually. Only thing I disagreed with was the Gaara scaling with Deidara and Sasuke. I thought it was pretty clear that Gaara would have beaten Deidara had he not had to split his attention between the fight and protecting his village.
your not wrong that Deidara fought dirty, but the location was somewhat both a advantage and a disadvantage.
1. It was a desert meaning Gaara had some advantage since he could use his surroundings.
2. It was the hidden sand so Deidara could do what he did.

Gaara was on his ass the whole time, and winning until Deidara attacked the village. While Deidara did finesse Gaara with his final move, there's really no narrative implication that either were outright more powerful than the other. I mean Deidara had to sacrifice his arm to get it too. Which kind of shows he didn't really have the power to outright defeat Gaara. But even still War Arc Gaara is waaay more powerful than that Gaara. So trying to say he'd still get 1v 1'd by Edo Deidara is kind of a silly claim.

@Black Activist first of all the healing path barely shows himself specifically for that reason, he's the most important path, he'd probably hide himself just to keep reviving downed pains. Tendo would probably show up by himself at first and shinra tensei immediately, one shotting all the weaker ones. If danzo doesn't already have his izanagi activated then he doesn't come back. Basically it's pain vs raikage and ohnoki. Particle style would just be getting obsorbed repeatedly imo, kinda useless, if raikage can blitz any of em they get revived and come right back.

While i do also think Pain would absolute give them a run for their money, if not just mop them, i don't think Preta Path would be as much of a guarantee tool as the video makes it seem. The chakra absorption is only usable in 1 direction, and for the most part the Kage aren't stupid. I can only see it being useful for 1 or maybe 2 jutsu cancels before they realize they just need to hit it from multiple angles and just kill it as fast as they can, so they can actually use their hard hitting abilities.
Onoki would most likely toss out a particle style cube or cone like he did against Sasuke, see it get countered and instantly say "Well shit, that guys a problem - get him"
I'm not sure because this depends on who's left right because if mei and gaara get murdered from push then I feel like they just can't win after that, A would give pain the hardest time but I don't feel like Danzo could really help Inoki and A actually do anything. So it would end up can Inoki and A beat pain? I would say no not even close

Secondly that was with tsunade she was the one to crack madaras perfect susanoo (while he was not trying) and the only person to reasonably do anything vs madara. Not to mention this was before they were working together too, and no tsunade. They would get wiped there is no feats that prove mei or gaara could survive an attack like that. Why do you think Pain would just hop in and do a 5 page speech and charge up right in front of them? Even if he did and did a push right there, there is 0 chance any of them can get away in time again look at the destruction he did vs the leaf village. *edit i'm going to add an edit here and even say in the anime it comes out instantly, there is no charge or wait period he completely obliterated the leaf village in an instant, the only person you could reasonably make an argument to potentially escape is A.

Taking out the absorption path by means of the raikage is not hard, he’s too fast, we are not going to ignore the speed. And particle style is going to blow the rest to Bits. Gaara is sort of like a Logia user from One Piece without haki. He's so unused to being physically hit that he has no built up endurance at all, so if did get hit, he'd just go down instantly.

Each path is like mid to high jounin level and all 6 together is mid to high kage (Kakashi and Choji dad 2 jounins figured out how to counter Deva and almost got him if it weren't for Asura)

I do think the raw power of pain is too much.
The jounins are also there which could help slightly but hardly enough to make a difference. It could help with Tendo's 5 second cooldown but not much else. the fact the Kage would likely split initially only makes this worse for them.
16:12 pain was way more effective against single opponent than multiple fighters but he was still very effective against multiple fighters and the gap in power between his 6 paths and like 99% of shinobi is way to vast so I think he will mob the floor with the 5 kage even if he didn’t kill any of them (which is unlikely) he will never lose

A couple questions, when you guys said the genjutsu will only affect the individual pain, this was because of Jiraiya and the toads sound genjutsu. However, the 6 paths of pain share eye sight not hearing, so Danzo’s genjutsu could incapacitate them all. But then this can obviously be countered by the fact that the rinnegan is the superior genjutsu and the technique wouldn’t be able to overpower it.
Another thing, when pain was fighting Naruto he wasn’t just weakened, he never had access to his deva path it had a recharge time, so he was dealing with him without it. Also, I think Pain trapping Naruto where even 8 tails is struggling to escape is a monstrous feat.
I think they were just saying that if one pain is caught in a genjustu then the other 5 and nagato wouldn’t be effected regardless if it’s is ocular or auditory. Like each body has to be hit with the genjutsu for it to work

But the kages are no joke either. the 3rd Raikage legit fought the 8 tails to a draw, so that according to me, puts him above pain. And even if 4th Raikage is half as strong as 3rd, he would be relative to pain(definitely not stroger, but relative).
