I think they should bring back Captain O.G. Readmore. He's funny, wise and can inspire readers to read or read more. I think the world needs a character like this, he can inspire people to look at reading a good perspective.
That looks like a major possibility for ABC, thanks to MeTV getting astronomical ratings and viewership for its Saturday morning classic theatrical cartoon block(Popeye, Woody Woodpecker, Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes). This has already forced CBS to unveil plans to return to SatAM cartoon programming, after its Litton deal expired. Both ABC and NBC may follow suit, as CW will continue its Litton deal and Fox is out of the running, entirely. That being said, I can see O.G. Readmore and Kermit the Frog as hosts of what will be titled ABC Kids Weekend Special, but as an hour-long program. The story of the eventual return to SatAM cartoons on broadcast TV(CBS, ABC & NBC) is still progressing, so all the same, let's stay on top of this!!!
