Man, I had only the barest snippets of memory of this . . . there were times I wasn't sure it was real. Nice to finally put some context to a nearly lost childhood memory.
I love this. I watched it all of the time. I was born in 1977 so I was round 6 when I saw it. It is burned in my brain. I tried to watch it every time they replayed it on weekends. My aunt taped it for me and I wore that tape out.
Like so many of you this was a special part of my childhood, being born in 1976, so I was in 1st grade when I saw it. I wondered about it because like many others I never got to see the end, but the story stuck with me for 40 years. Wow, how time passes....
I born in 78 and remember reading this in elementary school. Then I remember watching a video in class. Something stuck. I found the book again as a preteen after seeing it on tv…total fluke. Weirdly think about it through the years, randomly thinking I’ll never see it again…then holy crap, here it is!! Thank you!!
I turned 50 this year and I have been wanting to see this again since I was 10 years old! I didn’t even remember what it was called, but the word “pollywog” stuck with me all this time. I Googled “Weekend Special pollywog” and I finally found it!
I was obsessed with this! Thank you for uploading a decent copy. The best one I found previously the person spliced in much louder fake commercials they had made, ruined it.
Surprised I didn’t know about this. I remember being read the book way back when. Admittedly, I found it a lot funnier when Pollywog only grabbed the key when Penny used reverse psychology and told him not to.
I've been mesmerized with Synthesizers ever since seeing this particular cartoon plus any documentaries from the 70s and 80s that would use a similar orherworldly style of synthesis music especially the ones documenting ufos or ancient visitors from elsewhere. Very cool sounds indeed!
Oh Og, for a second I thought it was a Film about O.G. Readmore, But this is a good film from the 80s. Lucy Lawless, Xena? Why do all of these Kids have Names beginning with the Letter P? Well According to her IMDb Page Lucy Lawless is a Ryan with No Siblings, and Lawless is her Married Name to her first Husband Garth Lawless. The Waco Kid, Fastest hands in the World, His Real name is Jim, And he was Played By Gene Wilder, I guess the Kids saw Blazing Saddles (1974). It's simple OG, Og, and og is the same as I AM GROOT I am Groot, and I am groot. It's all in The Tone of the word.
Wow what a find, never saw part 3 either, been over 40 years.
I thought I would never see this again. Thank you so much
That closing credits “Og” song has stayed with me for 40 years. Finally I’ve confirmed I didn’t make it up!
Same here.
Same!
Been looking for this for YEARS 🎉❤

Oh my I cannot I found this after all these years! Thank you so much!
I finished reading the book yesterday. Anyways I shouldn't of commented right now to you because you get notifications from it.
OH GOD I remember this on TCC around 1991.
I loved this so much as a kid.
It's been years since I saw "The Secret World of Og".
I could not find this bc I remembered it as just "Og" and not the secret world of Og.
I can't beleive I found this. I'm almost 50 this year and this was a good one back in the day. Damn I still love cartoons

This was made by Hanna-Barbera?? Omg No Wonder I always loved this as a child & still do
In fairness, this was the Aussie staff and not the usual Hollywood guys besides the voice acting and Mark Evanier scripting this.
Honestly the only thing I remember from this was the weird ending credits song. Was fun to see it again.
This movie low key scared me as a child
I had a huge crush on the oldest sister!!
Flawless and the fumk gunk
Should've gotten a series.
Oh wow I feel like a little girl again seeing this 😊

Как же обожал этот мульт. И тоже впервые увидел 4 серию
In 3rd grade I remember when my teacher put this on in class on a Friday. The best Friday that year!
Same memory of it. A class showing with the lights out and no school work for the day.
Agreed
I remember the ugh sound 🤗👏😂
Thank you😊
Этот мульт - вероятная причина, почему я влюблен в синтезаторную музыку первой половины 80х, и даже имею пару аналоговых синтезаторов)
