I like to think that Gat's selfless act in the Retcon and new Earth ending would absolve him of his sins. When it's his time he'll have a golden ticket into heaven in the new Earth ending or in the Retcon ending he'd have an actual chance to spend his life with Eesh.
Killing The Zin in the past just open up alot of Paradox and the time travel Saints just dissapear. If they kill the Zin and the time travel crew didn't dissapear, they definitely gonna go to the white house. This gonna lead to them meeting the presidential Saints, which lead into more problem
This explains why saints row died, it went to far off the edge of goofy to be anything anymore. The second game was by far the best and was exactly what it should have stayed, the right mix of serious and goofy. They jumped the shark.

This ending gave us Agents of Mayhem (can still see a sequel if they take criticism to heart and improve on their gamble.) And the canon ending leading to sr5 would be the new planet to fight for. And since the dlcs to 4 are also canon. That means the Saints have Jezzibel, Santa, and an army of hyper intelligent raptors in their ranks. Going to be interesting how things can escalate from here.

originally, Gat out of Hell was included with SR4 as a DLC. The events here happen right after the game ends. Unfortunately, in the port to Switch, it wasn't included and from what I've read, there are no plans to port the DLC even as a stand alone expansion. Which is sad, I would have really enjoyed kicking some ass with Johnny. I do hope they decide to port it in the end
My problem is the developers aren't tricking anyone the fans can disagree that they aren't creative enough or whatever but that's not right it's thier story the gameplay in thier game is good but if they want to retcon or go basilisk with the story then they can
