The Day I Almost Died In Nepal 🇳🇵

- I can totally call myself Acrophobic (fear of heights) - I am horrified by the idea of falling, or in general, looking down from the high buildings and edge of the mountains.
I am learning to fight that internal fight with myself and do something crazy to overcome that side of me. 70 meters(230 ft) Bungee Jump in Nepal has been the craziest thing I have done during my travels.
Overall, activity has nothing to do with "fun" but rather an internal fight between yourself and your fears. Constant pressure either to do or not to do it. The ongoing battle to overcome the idea of giving up. And continues fear of facing the risks of "what if."
Did I enjoy the experience? Not really. I do not think there is anything "to enjoy." Unless you are crazy about adrenaline, you can jump for fun. Is it something that needs to be experienced? Definitely, for someone like me, the mental aspect of the exercise is what you take away with you to apply in other parts of your life:
to face challenges and overcome your limits...

Since you were in Pokhara, you should have tried the other bungee jumping in Kushma which is the highest bungee in Nepal (224 m), third highest in the world. It’s at a distance of about 1.5 hours drive from Pokhara with a beautiful road. Anyway, you can always keep the best for next time.

Davud you are crazy man. I was holding my breath when you were going to jump. I was scared for you. But if I was you, I would do it as well. In my younger days I have been on crazy rides and done daring things with my brother. But that was 30 years back. Make sure things are absolutely safe and then surely do them because you do not get chances to be crazy all the time. Hope your mom was okay watching this. God bless you.

Gosh, I sensed your anxiety all the way up to here.. to Denmark! Well done! 🤗Also to the crew who tried to keep it soft and smooth. I am sure you were not the first to have second thoughts.. I know people who are bungee addicts and jump from the most insane bridges, but not for me. I am not an adrenaline junkie in any way. I get my heart rate and bloodpressure up everytime my guys start acting up towards nasty people or other dogs! 😅The worst I have tried was river rafting.. mainly because my swimming skills are extremely poor!

This video reminds me of my first ever parachute jump I did whilst serving in the military. The fear, anxiety, exhilaration and relief which one experiences within a short time frame gives the biggest adrenaline rush one could ever experience.
