The Golden Girls have truly been my most favorite show from the very beginning and I don't care how many times I've watched every season, and I could never put any amount honestly, this show has been such an inspiration, pick me up, help me through many transactions over years such as moving to different places, and I could always without a doubt find comfort and a sense of normalcy every time and I can sometimes catch something I didn't remember or didn't hear for whatever reason before and amazingly they can still make me laugh and take me to a place where all the craziness in our world today is literally almost outside a bubble or cocoon that show can take me to! I know we are all blessed to be here every single day and we take it for granted sometimes, and sometimes sad when I do think about them no longer being with us, I don't think about reality and I always say, they are still alive in my house like my Queen Whitney Houston! Her God given natural gift changed my life the first moment I heard one of her songs on the radio and I didn't know who she was and I got my first album on my 21st birthday and her music and gift of letting the songs and their meaning flow in such a way that I have felt that inner joy from others but not ever we quite a way that Whitney was capable of! I to this day never get tired of hearing her music and I sometimes feel like her spirit is literally in the car with me going down the road and I catch myself saying girl will never not be in my life and I will say like she is really there, sing it girl! (RIP) MY GIRLS AND MY QUEEN! 💜
These type of videos were not a thing 5+ years ago when I was searching all over the internet for the incidental music. So thank you so much for doing this!!! I always rewind the episode when that first one plays! It's my favorite!
I remember watching this show for the first time. Loved it from the start. I consider this not only one of the funniest shows of all time, but one of the greatest. One thing I love about it is, after the intro song, the episodes open with a serene shot of the house, and I feel at peace. I always know, whenever I’m sad or stressed etc, I can put on the Girls and be at peace. I should confirm this, but I'm pretty sure 3:18 is the scene where Rose has moved out and she is missing the girls. The next scene is Rose walking in from the back kitchen door at the house while Blanche and Dorothy are talking at the table.
