I absolutely love your videos. They are wholesome, no cursing, no immodest attire and useful information. I just love you and I feel like I know you through your content. Yahweh bless you and your family
Im so glad you showed Elizabeth Farms! My husband was working there that day and came home saying he saw one of my TH-camrs, lol. I guess sharing accounts had it’s fun parts. He recognizes my people and I know more about fishing than I ever intended 😅. I hope you like your tree!
In some places here in Sweden you can rent a Christmas tree! It comes in a pot so you keep it as a plant over Christmas and then you return it. You can even get the same tree for several years!
Aw, Megan! This was such a precious video. It brought tears to my eyes. It is so refreshing to see such a God-honoring young family bringing up their children in the ways of the Lord. You do an amazing job of editing your videos, and they flow seamlessly, like a movie. Your tree is just so pretty. I love how you use the homemade ornaments. Thank you for the stand you take for God and modesty and holy living. You and Josh are doing an amazing job. May the Lord richly bless you this Christmas season!
I had an extremely stressful day at work today and this was just the balm I needed. Thank you for everything you do! You’re touching so many lives, mine included.
My favourite tradition is breakfast on Christmas morning. I go all out and make everyone's favourites and we sit and talk and eat and talk some more and just enjoy each other.
I so enjoy watching your channel . It's classy and beautiful no cussing or body parts being shown . Thank you for sharing. And possibly teaching are younger teenagers how too be beautiful without all the ugly that we have in this world.
Brought back so many memories when my children were young going to pick out the tree and decorating it. You and Josh are such a wonderful example of a Christ centered couple serving one another and others as well as showing hospitality.
We've been getting our tree at a tree farm for over 40 years. Now with the grown-up children and grandchildren. Absolutely my favorite tradition. Your kids will never forget it!
Hi Megan what a beautiful family vlog thank you so much for taking the time to share your run up to Christmas with us. I enjoyed your day out cutting down your own tree, making your cookie ornaments, and doing your own oranges, the magic of you all decorating, the children singing and dancing and reading a Christmas story together it made my heart smile. Just goes to prove you don’t need to go out and buy everything and handmade Christmas is more magical xx
Some of our favorite memories are the Christmas traditions and devotions we did with our boys. As they got older, they made Lego nativities and set up Lego Christmas trains under the tree. I am so thankful that they know and celebrate Jesus!
Megan, your videos are absolutely beautiful! The memories you've captured in this video is so sweet and I am sure it will bless your family in the years to come. My favorite tradition is driving around to see Christmas lights and baking cookies with my kiddos. Merry Christmas!
Butter in the coffee; it's actually a digestion trick 😀 you can add regular butter to hot coffee as well and it slows down the digestion to keep you from feeling the "caffeine crash" or "caffeine jitters" if you have a fast metabolism it's a great tip.
LOVED this video. Literally brought tears to my eyes at the end. Thank you for being such an inspiration and sharing good and beautiful things. The world needs more people like you!
You have such a beautiful family, lots of special memories you & Josh are giving your kids. From Josh letting them help cut the tree to Evonnie & Fletcher singing, made me tear up! Your tree & the paper stars ✨ are stunning & I also love the tree by the fireplace!
Absolutely beautiful family tree decorating. I know you can’t know it while you are in it but my gosh the years go so quickly. Cherish these times with your littles. My babies are now 24, 21, and 16. I never imagined I’d miss their younger years as much as I do.
I really like that verse at the end of your video. You have really demonstrated it throughout the video. Great video. Thanks for sharing merry Christmas.
A most enjoyable video. Would love to see your Mom in more videos, if she's comfortable being more involved. Or a section on "Advice from Mom, Grandma".
Loving all the holiday videos so far. My family has a new tradition we started a few years ago where our meal on Christmas Eve celebrates how other cultures do Christmas. It's been so much fun choosing the country, learning all the traditions, and of course eating all the food.
I have a good gingerbread recipe to eat! The more you work the dough the harder they get. Letting the dough chill for about 8 hours makes it cook better for eating as well❤
Thoroughly enjoyed this video .... your family is so blessed. Love the simplicity and naturalness of your Christmas decor while keeping the true meaning of Christmas which unfortunately is lost in so many homes today. God bless you!
Yes! I’m the sugar cookie latte lady! It’s great with almond milk. I can’t wait to try your recipe bc you’re right, all the syrups are filled with fake flavorings.
To help the syrup and butter/chocolate mix, you can do the sugar syrup in one pot and melt the butter and chocolate in another. Then, whilst constantly whisking, stream the butter/chocolate mix in slowly, starting with drops and then build up to a steady slow stream. This slow adding of fat into water will help it emulsify and it’ll all mix in together!!
This tradition started with my husband's family: making a gingerbread house together with fireworks inside then at new years, blowing it to smitherins in the driveway 😃 Edited: love your videos Megan! MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!
One of my favorite Christmas tradition is hosting or going to friends houses. Of course until the friends come is stressful with all the preparations but once they come the fun begins. When I was younger I loved going caroling.
Looove a Douglas Fir! I love how ornaments hang on them. Beautiful. The Christmas tree is my favourite tradition and baking with my mom ❤ The anticipation of the holiday is a wonderful feeling
Love your tree and the simplicity of it and your beautiful children singing and love your nativity! Love it all! God bless your family and Merry Christmas!🎄❤️
This is a beautiful video. You have such good taste in classy decorating. The editing and music are perfect. I teared up the last few minutes. I had this wonderful life with my parents and siblings and it all went by too quickly. Thanks for sharing.
Grew up with real trees and that's how I do it with my family ♡♡ Cozy, smells so good, and such warm memories.♡♡ We are going this Sat to cut ours down :) I decorate our whole house with live greenery and berry tree branches that my husband and i go get from my parents trees... our girls have started helping and it's just fun to do as a family :) We always drive around to see lights, with pizza and pop :-) then going to the mall is so fun before Christmas!! :) We are going to go carrolling to the homeless this year. Usually every year we go caroling to a few people near by and minister to them. Then we always make a new ornament for our tree (we do all momento ornaments that have meaning and a menory with it) or some sort of craft as a family ♡♡ We love doing gingerbread houses too.
We always make a point of enjoying the winter solstice (Dec 21). Living in Canada - we really feel how short the shortest day of the year is! We choose to unplug and play acoustic music, and we light the whole bottom floor in only candle light (no electric overhead lights). We play board games and eat a massive charcuterie board, and sit with gratitude that every day thereafter will have a little more sunlight. Since we are not religious, this is a way to make the season special and meaningful for our family.
Your videos are so exciting! You always have so many fun activities going that it’s amazing and it’s also a wonderful treat for your children! I love the way this video ended, with Josh, you, and the children in your living room with your beautiful tree, Christmas music, and the nice warm fire going in the fireplace! Many blessings to each of you! 🎄
Perfect timing megan I just got my toddler down for a nap I am so excited to watch! I just want to thank you for always uplifting me and making my day even better💖🙏💖
God bless your family. White chocolate gas pretty low melting point and it curls if the temperature too high. So just add chocolate later once the mixtures under 80°F
I have made Tollhouse pies for years. I now make three just for Thanksgiving. One for the dessert table, one for our granddaughters to enjoy at home and another one for friends to take home.
Typically Fraser firs keep their needles on longer and are a bit less “pokey” which is why lots of people like them for Christmas trees.. but Douglas firs are pretty good too 😊
Your children are precious and your tree turned out beautiful and the food you made to look really good and the drinks have a blessed Thursday night 🎅🤶❤️❤️❤️
I really enjoyed this video and seeing how your family spends such beautiful time together. Thank you for sharing your time with us. It's nice to see more of Josh with you and the, kids together. God bless.
(Judy VanderPloeg) We did the applesauce and cinnamon ornaments, and they smell amazing! I have to try that coffee syrup recipe. I'm going to experiment and see if I can sub more of the carb friendly sweeteners in it. Loved the serenade by the littles, absolutely adorable. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Your video is the one I look forward to each week! Love all your tree decor, and your kids dancing on the mantle brought back sweet memories of my siblings and I doing the same when we were young.
Beautiful scenery and sweet family memories! Love your tree and decorations. I plan on drying some oranges for decorations for our Christmas Eve get together. I’ve been making gingerbread cookies for over 30 years with my daughters and now with the grandkids. The other tradition I love is we have a birthday cake for Jesus on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas and God bless you and your precious family! 😀❤️
Megan your videos always inspire!! You are creating such wonderful memories for your family! Traditions are so very important in life. Thank you for sharing your family and beautiful recipes, ideas and decorating!
Absolutely loved! Thanks for so many great Christmas ideas and inspiration as always. Love your tops! Could you link the cinnamon colored one you are wearing in the first part of the video? I always look so forward to Thursdays. Thanks Megan for another wonderful video! Hope your Christmas is very blessed for you and your family.
We always make soft sugar cookies in all kinds of shapes like a tree, bell, cross, fire truck, car bears, gingerbread etc & we also make soft yummy gingerbread cookies then all the kiddos get together & we decorate with tons of sprinkles, frosting & food coloring... then bcuz it's about 12 dozen we give them to family, friends & neighbors... We eat our fair share 😋
I look forward to your videos every week, it helps me relax after a long day at work in the city. Thank you to you and your family for sharing such a wholesome life 💖
I’m not a tree hugger 😉My husband and sons were loggers for years , but that was kinda hard to watch that tree being cut down knowing it grew probably at least seven years to get to that size . I think if I’d do Christmas trees I’d buy one to plant in my yard .

Elizabeth Tree Farms is fun for a day on a tree farm with the activities (they used to have pigs that were a lot of fun to watch but are gone now with the new owners)...but trees are very expensive there!! We got ours at Wagner Tree Farm in Lebanon this year, lots of beautiful trees, so many different varieties and for a lot cheaper. They also have cool spray painted trees in all different colors. It's about 16 minutes from Hershey Park so we went there to go on the chocolate world ride after we picked our tree out. Just a thought for next year too if you want to check it out 😊
I love your content so much 💕 I wish I could be a stay at home mom and wife, but right now that’s not possible. I keep praying God will make that desire come to be! Thanks so much! I try to make it a mix of real life, but also a little bit of an escape.

It is so comforting to find all of this within a channel on TH-cam, I think she does an amazing job!! ☺️

In some places here in Sweden you can rent a Christmas tree! It comes in a pot so you keep it as a plant over Christmas and then you return it. You can even get the same tree for several years!
That's so neat!!🙂 wish there was places like that here!!
What a great idea!
That is sooooo neat and not wasteful!
That’s awesome and so practical! Cool 😎
I love how you involve your children in things, whether it's doing things around home or looking for a tree. God bless your home and family.
