- This time last year, we signed off the season with EF Pro Cycling at the traditional end of year race: the Japan Cup. 2020 could not have been more different as the pandemic put paid to all of our plans and prompted one of the strangest and most surprising editions of the Giro d’Italia in its long and storied history. First off, the race took place not in May but in October, by which time there was snow on the upper slopes of the Stelvio and long shadows cast across the streets of Milan where the race would finish. To make matters more mystifying, EF Pro Cycling’s usual pink livery was gone, replaced only by rumours. As the race got underway in Sicily, there were plenty of questions.

It's incredible he finished: I never expected that when I saw him on the start list. It's one thing to ride 1000 km sleep-deprived, but it's quite another to be able to hang with a pack going full gas for 30 minutes over a climb. The time cuts in these races are merciless.

Everyone has favorite riders that you like because of the way they race individually, but EF is a TEAM that I can get behind.

And I agree about the tradition in cycling. It has it's place - but in cycling it completely holds it back.....lots of things need to change.

I've really liked this team since the Garmin days. It's great to have an insight into the team with this kind of content. Lachlan Morton is a slightly eccentric cat, and the fact that EF allows him to thrive on the team indicates they have a unique culture. Long live EF Pro Cycling.

I truly love the whole spirit the EF team brings with it, that's why I was hoping to get my hands on one of the jerseys, but instead one of the bots got it, which are always being used at Palace releases. Doesn't matter what it is, people just buy it for resell, which in my opinion is not what this teams clothing should represent.
Dear Rapha or EF1, please find a way to bring this limited stuff to people, who really appreciate and share your message and don't make it rely on money or internet speed. That's not what the cycling world needs...
The hype & media spin was a success regardless of anyones opinion on the design. It definitely was a marketing gold mine for the team, Rapha and Palace so chapeau. It made EF easier to spot in the peloton too.👍
Lachlan seems like such a genuine person. He would be cool to go ride with for some miles and get some pizza. I think it is really strange to come across this video after getting into cycling and applying for a few jobs at EF. They are a really impressive company and this guy is one cool dude. The video series is very neat to watch as a cyclist that is not a professional.

EF is far and away my favorite pro team. Interesting, humble, and engaging riders, and they’re breaking some of the norms of cycling to advance the sport. How can you not love what they are doing, and this kind of content?! It’s awesome!

Bit late to the party here, but I love that EF Pro Cycling (and even Rapha, to an extent) are so against what happened in the Team Sky years. It's almost like they went so far one way that it got boring - so now everyone's just in it for a good time. Cycling could do with more of that.
Screw tradition, let's have a laugh.
