Sheet bend single or double is the best choice. However, if there's a lot of flogging due to wind then even more secure is a constrictor, a clove hitch with extra bite!! You'll never untie one, it has to be cut off. great for tying around skin tags and the like with waxed dental floss, but do remember once pulled tight, you'll never undo it! Sometimes referred to as the surgeons knot.
