The one thing I don't like about the american version is that the show seemed to be more focused on 'who's behind the mask' rather than putting a good perfomance. The Korean version is much more about giving a great perfomance, (as pop singers, idols, comedians or other celebrities might be seen as untalented by some people) So when you sing with a mask, there is no bias against you. No one is judging you based on looks, style, skin colour, gender or anything. People will just listen to your voice and judge your performance by its own merit. By the clips I've watched from the american version, all the judges seem so eager to know who is the singer, rather than enjoy the show they're putting on. I hope the producers realize the sucess of the show isn't the costumes themselves, but the break of stereotypes and biases by putting a good show when nobody thought you would be capable of.

Korean Masked Singer is musically much more professional and well crafted. The purpose of this show is to deliver good performance without any prejudice. Check out Sohyang's performance in Korean Masked Singer. She is literally the best living technical singer in the world.

I thought Margaret Cho had a beautiful voice, and she sang "Time After Time ", so beautifully. If there's any Asian Americans who can sing and they're really good, then they deserve more recognition in the music business than what they do get here in the States. We do have some well known Asian Americans in the music business, but most of them are rappers.
