Having been a fan since the Brothers in the 70's, he did this show for all the neigh sayers over his career. The people who would not play his records or be part of his journey should now realize he didn't need their approval. His talent is still amazing at 60. You go Donny, and enjoy the ride.

I remember watching the Donny and Marie Show when I was little. I used to actually cry every time they ended their show because I hated to see it end. And on the final show I was a wreck. I miss those times when shows were wholesome, funny, goofy without having to use profanity to get a laugh. They brought you into their world for a short period of time and gave you something uplifting or light-hearted to watch. My sister and I used to fight over the Tigerbeat posters, and one that would regularly be stolen to end up in a hidden spot in our rooms was of Donny. I think there were two from that magazine. Anyway, eventually my sister bought an actual poster and let me have the beat up Tigerbeat one. It stayed on my wall until we moved.
