Hats off Fr Mike, more tongue twister names, I wonder how long you practice before you go live? When you look at Ezra 10 v 13 it states it was raining, I thought why would God want that detail in there. Then I was reminded of John 21 v 11 when Peter caught 153 fish. It is so exacting and then I heard an explanation for it. The Hebrew alphabet also relates to numbers, the 153 translates in Hebrew to I AM GOD. We worship a God of infinite detail, and this is what makes Bible reading so exciting, this multi layered book has so much to say. Love light and prayers y'all.
Father Mike you expressed exactly what makes me saddened....how many couples live together before marriage. I left my country, family, culture and protestant religion behind and married Catholic. Intermarriage can happen today when both parties see what's right. My husband now rests in peace however I will remain his until the end of my life. This is something that I say and do surprising many people who are so in the world!

September 27, 2023 According to tradition, St. Gertrude the Great was told by Our Lord that each time she piously recited the following prayer, it would release 1,000 souls (or a vast number) from their suffering in purgatory: Eternal Father, I offer You the most precious blood of thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, for those in my own home, and in my family. Amen. In her account of another vision, St. Faustina describes Purgatory as a "great crowd of suffering souls" undergoing purification. Further, she says that the souls are "praying fervently, but to no avail, for themselves; only we can come to their aid" (Diary, 20) Father I need your grace again because I am not the witness I want to be.

What I see here is the difference between unconsecrated and consecrated in the Catholic Church the host is consecrated so I’m not sure why there is a debate about giving communion to people and politicians who publicly support abortion I don’t think this should be a debate I think the catechism is pretty clear also I have noticed that there are some in the church they don’t tell the importance for confession you see yesterday I spoke to a priest a friend of mine he help me through some very dark and deep sins and yesterday I had called to talk about some things and even he was sad saying that many Catholics don’t even know they’re fake or simple prayers we need to praystudy and learn I am grateful that father Mike gave us this Bible study to do with him We must pray for the healing of our world and the church
So much truth in Proverbs especially verse 19 in chapter 20 about staying away from people who gossip and speak foolishly. The problem with intermarriage is that it can destroy the family. How true is that and how sad is that in a way as well. It is so sad that people were drowning in their brokenness in sin and it’s very true for us even today. Sometimes intermarriage can work if everyone agrees to be part of God‘s covenant which is also very powerful and very important. We live in such a broken and simple world and isn’t that true? What God to give us guidance especially now.

I am a little afraid that there are certain parts of God's word that I find a chore to get through. The lists of names and the "sons of," are a beating to me. What does this indicate about my spiritual state? I do pray that He shows me what He wants me to see, and I know ALL scripture is good for us.
This is so like the sacramental annulments process of today. On a case by case basis… is the marriage valid? I know the catharsis of this process was life changing for me.
I had two Catholic wives who both died. One was weak but the other strong in their faith but yet they both died. I had a chance to marry Catholic again (and many other women desired to marry me) but didn't for fear of wealth (and in compatibility) so now I plan to marry a non-Catholic. We have been dating for nearly five short years, a long distance romance, me in Florida and she in New Jersey. Now my home was destroyed in Florida via Ian so I had few options of where to live so I chose to cohabitate with my girlfriend soon to be fiancée. It's not the best circumstance however the better choice. I have no intimacy with her now trying to wait until marriage but she thinks I don't love her so she says without intimacy. She knows I'm Catholic but says I attend Mass to meet someone there yet she is proud I practice my faith. Now she is a divorcée of 12 years from a non-practicing Muslim who loved the drink and caused her much pain for she is of good heart. I think of her as the female Fr Stu however she has no qualms over her vocation in life. She had no children nor correspondence with her older siblings. I have a brother, three children, five grandchildren and one mother who suffers from Alzheimer's who I left in a nursing home in Florida but would love to bring her to NJ. Today's reading made me notice how I'm living and fear I have strayed but I accept the lot I have made for I am not looking for children at my age as my soon to be fiancée is past childbearing years. I don't see how marrying outside my faith could hurt anyone except if someone is knitpicking that I'm setting a bad example. My deepest wish is that she convert but organized religion she despises. She says they're all cults which I tell her yes exactly, you can't have religion without cult, be more concerned with those who practice the occult. I wish I found compatibility with a Catholic woman but I haven't nor am I looking at this point. I wish I had the wealth to begin a new family but I'm on a fixed income and find younger women don't interest me anyway as I am determined to grow old with someone which is something I feel life has cheated me of that. I had that opportunity with my second wife (9 years my younger) but she was barren. All this to ask for prayer and direction especially for Cynthia my soon to be fiancée. Mary conceived without sin pray for us sinners who have recourse to thee. 🙏

I had two Catholic wives who both died. One was weak but the other strong in their faith but yet they both died. I had a chance to marry Catholic again (and many other women desired to marry me) but didn't for fear of wealth (and in compatibility) so now I plan to marry a non-Catholic. We have been dating for nearly five short years, a long distance romance, me in Florida and she in New Jersey. Now my home was destroyed in Florida via Ian so I had few options of where to live so I chose to cohabitate with my girlfriend soon to be fiancée. It's not the best circumstance however the better choice. I have no intimacy with her now trying to wait until marriage but she thinks I don't love her so she says without intimacy. She knows I'm Catholic but says I attend Mass to meet someone there yet she is proud I practice my faith. Now she is a divorcée of 12 years from a non-practicing Muslim who loved the drink and caused her much pain for she is of good heart. I think of her as the female Fr Stu however she has no qualms over her vocation in life. She had no children nor correspondence with her older siblings. I have a brother, three children, five grandchildren and one mother who suffers from Alzheimer's who I left in a nursing home in Florida but would love to bring her to NJ.
Today's reading made me notice how I'm living and fear I have strayed but I accept the lot I have made for I am not looking for children at my age as my soon to be fiancée is past childbearing years. I don't see how marrying outside my faith could hurt anyone except if someone is knitpicking that I'm setting a bad example. My deepest wish is that she convert but organized religion she despises. She says they're all cults which I tell her yes exactly, you can't have religion without cult, be more concerned with those who practice the occult. I wish I found compatibility with a Catholic woman but I haven't nor am I looking at this point. I wish I had the wealth to begin a new family but I'm on a fixed income and find younger women don't interest me anyway as I am determined to grow old with someone which is something I feel life has cheated me of that. I had that opportunity with my second wife (9 years my younger) but she was barren.
All this to ask for prayer and direction especially for Cynthia my soon to be fiancée.
Mary conceived without sin pray for us sinners who have recourse to thee. 🙏
