1968 Camaro Steering Column Rebuild : 231

Shows complete rebuild of the steering column and joining the blinker assembly and upper bearing. Don't forget to put bearing grease on the lower and upper bearings. I forgot and had to go back and rebuild, that was fun.

Would this rebuild be the same for a 70 nova column? Great work

I don't know. Chevy did a lot of changes in 70, so more than likely not.

where did yiu find the parts for that i only found a couple

All my parts are original except the lower steering column bearing. Year One, Camaro Central, Heartbeat City and other restoration sites should have the lower bearing. Not sure on what other parts you need. I think you are out of luck if your looking for the upper bearing, tubes or shaft. My have to purchase a new column. Some sites like Heartbeat City sell rebuilt columns. I have not tried to find used parts on Ebay or other sites, but worth a try.
