The problem with American carmakers is they focus only on speed. Of course that is an important factor in a hypercar but you need more than that. This list comprises of mostly race cars, a couple of supercars and a few drawings. The Tuatara and the Venom are probably the closest to hypercar status but they really need to up their game in quality for the interiors. A hypercar looks top top of the line inside as well as out where no effort is spared in the materials used in the car. The corvette as a hyper, are you kidding. The Ford also for the sheer fact that it's got a v6, a fricken v6? I don't care what the numbers say, you don't send a boy to do a mans job. What defines a hypercar is style in every facet of its design and execution, the speed part is easy, bolt on a monster and then turbo the shit out of it.
There always be a hater in the group! Give me one supercar brand that’s truly dependable. There’s only a handful of “supercars “that are meant to be driven daily, Porsche, Corvette, NSX.
