Realizing this is a commercial (and I think you should denote it as such), a well-done, helpful introduction to the art of jumping with a lightweight jump cue.
This is an excellent video! Hat off to you sir. All aspects that you need to know are very well explained, in a calmed, clear voice that makes understanding easy. It also amazes me to witness his ability on this particular type of shot. I am not shure it is a commercial, as some comentators suggest, however, even if it is, i really do not care about it since all that he does is praise the particular design features that he likes and very well describes about the Predator Air Jump. Again thanks.
Great video. Beatiful shots and nice explanation. Finally I get an idea of jump shots. So the cue has to be quite light and the leather needs to be quite hard, right?
well....After reading a lot of comments I feel I'm again at the same point. We're different. Everybody feels comfortable his game with different kinda cues. I don't really like when people start to divide into groups and starting to argue. That's why this is so exciting. We're all different on the globe. That's why tournaments are different. However I don't fancy with predator cues I think this is a cool video.
I prefer more weight for my jump cue. I'm using a Cuetec Jump Cue instead of a Predator Air. I tried it and it doesn't gave me good results for controlling the cue ball cause of the light weight. A very light cue is NOT necessary for controlling the jump. It is necessary that you are feeling comfortable with your equipment.
6'16" - look at the 7 ball (brown). I wonder how many attempts that took. This editing could have been WAY better. I like Dominic's delivery of his instructions, but PLEASE, use better similés. A "steak knife through an apple". What the heck is that? There is some question as to where to aim as well. His '2 o'clock' would be our '6 o'clock' I think!! Good practice techniques though. Better similés please!
After seeing this I definately would like those jump cues banned. Too easy. I feel sorry for the great full cues jumpers like Earl. Billiards is about using the rails anyways.
by far the best jump instruction video i've seen. thank you!
One of the best jump videos ever and it's so old..awesome!! Thank u
You dear sir, have the best jump shot tutorial on TH-cam. Thank you for sharing.
the most comprehensive video I have ever seen , while I would rather kick at the OB I'm going to get me a predator jump cue. THANK YOU JOE

How does it compare to the other predator jump cues?

Great video, and talent too. Thanks for the tips!@
I like how tournaments are allowing jumping, but no jump cue just playing cue.
@IRevealTheMagic 2'o clock on the jump face. It gives you enough top to clear the shot
I miss my Predator Air.
Who stole it?
Nice editing at 6:12 that ball was almost in the same position.. It probably only took a few trys...
uh..the 2 o'clock position? Looked more like the 6 o'clock position to me?
Anyone else think this guy cannot tell the time?
what the hell.. 2 o'clock is putting English on the cueball.
Very good video, thanks :-)
i bet the last shot didnt go in lol
Your INSANE.

The shortest distance between two points is through the air. 😜
