Xu Fu being Arts is genius troll design from lore perspective - Xu Fu does not really understand what Consort Yu really wants and needs in story even if she loves her so much, which is being shown perfectly by Xu being Arts support while Yu is Buster and Quick.
On the Arcueid point about not having to roll for her, I find myself as someone who is new to the game, using units like Morgan or Arjuna Alter as supports for CQ due to lacking DPS servants. I think as long as you have the main supports (Oberon, Castoria, Koyan, Skadi's, Reines/Waiver) then you are pretty good to go. The advantage of having the servant is you can bring a duplicate of one of the big supports, which is insanely helpful, but you dont need them. I will say that I do think I will be rolling for Morgan if I don't get her on Ani lucky bag, mostly due to how fun she is and how great her character is.
This is definitely the right approach. When the game came out and you were restricted to lvl100, 1000 fou, no paws, no command codes, no appends, and nobody had MLB BG, the difference between a NP2 servant and a whale NP5 wasn't that large. But nowadays, a fully maxed NP5 servant with MLB BG does basically twice the damage compared to a vanilla lvl90 NP2. From a pure damage perspective in CQ, there is little reason to take your DPS servant when you can borrow a maxed one. For this reason, if you are interested in CQs, especially min-turning, after getting the main supports I feel it is better to just focus on a single servant and max it out.
I'm not a fan of proto merlin on a story basis but i do think her release in some forms still makes me question why the community is so against merlin getting a buff. Sure merlin has overall better consistency in some cases but if they didn't do proto merlin the way they did and she was straight up better people still would refuse merlin getting a buff. I'm moreso hoping that he gets something that enhances his skillset even further rather than touching his np. Do i have an idea on what they should do? Not exactly, but in the same sense I've also felt that he probably needs something for longevity purposes that would add more. I'll decide if i can put my gripes away with lady avalons character in order to pull her though. My other target this year will be another copy of spishtar for farming purposes. Nice video btw.
im lucky i have both Calamity Jane and Christmas Nightingale, who provides 3 turns Ignore Invul and 3 turns Buff Removal Resist Respectively. So far, their supportive kit have surpassed my expectations and the only thing im lacking is Poster Girl to kill them off because i only have 1 copy of Outrage which is a sadge 1 turner lmao
As soon as I realized it was before the buff I started laughing at his chat putting her down. Oh how little they knew, now she's the best farming Archer there is, while still being able to farm neutral like a champ. Sure S-Ibuki is stronger in general, but that stupidly powerful niche and still being useable outside of it is a wild buff to her. Truly the Archer class is made up of Berzerkers.
@@sjames551 Would call S.Ibuki stronger "in general". Maybe against Earth non-Saber enemies, but even then the difference W3 is really small, and can sometimes be to Musashi's favor.

S-Musashi is still good in challenge quests because of her Ignore Invuln utility and the easy refund from her second skill, but S-Ibuki might be more useful as a general dps with all her crit potential on top of her looping power. At this point which you chose is down to preference... though me being me I still want both. Because waifu, which is what it's all about at the end of the day.
@@sjames551 Musashi has better survivability though (single evade, but not turn limited + guts, even though it has a demerit, but usually zerks die in one hit anyway). And same critting capability, even though just for one turn (but 50% vs 30%, getting enough start might be a problem though, until at leas Xu Fu). So unless the enemy spams removable defensive buffs, I'd say musashi is a better (or at least as good) fit for most CQs.
Your comments about SSkadi buffing B cards show that you don't understand how quick operates in CQs. The premiere quick CQ single-target servants, Bazett and MHXA, have QQABB decks. And the reality is that Q cards are so weak compared to busters that they really want to crit with their Bs, going for a BNPBE chain. SSkadi is a massive improvement for these servants, especially Bazett who currently relies on the like of Merlin/Koya to do enough B crit damage turn 1.
I think this goes to show that instead of buffing chains, they needed to buff the base numbers of the quick card itself. Remove the damage penalty for example and increase the crit star generation
Same with Morgan lmao but waifu so no regrets. I wanna np5 summer ibuki but its gonna be hard cus there is arcuired, lady avalon and summer skadi which i want them at np1 at least. Next year i want Draco and Berserk castoria at np5 but both are arts st universal servants so its a waste honestly to invest both of them so im thorn what to do with them. Draco is too unique so i want her at np5 but berserker castoria is too oo and cute lmao.
