Primo Shllaku for THOUGHTS, a Harabel Contemporary project.
Primo Shllaku (1947) is a well-known contemporary poet, translator and writer, born in Shkodra. He graduated in Albanian Language and Literature at the University of Tirana.
His works were published only after the fall of the communist regime.
The most famous works of Primo Shllaku are: "Lule Nate", "Hana e njelmët e ditës", the collection of novels "Muzikantët", as well as "Aktorët pa kujtesë ". His translations include Charles Baudelaire’s "Les Fleurs du Mal", Franz Kafka's "Metamorphosis" and two works by Jean-Paul Sartre, "Nekrassov" and "Baudelaire".
