In all the isolated tracks I have ever heard including seven sins you get to hear them it's truly amazing. Ren makes makes all his own beats. LOCO is Rens track that is done "stacked like architecture" only with voice. It's great ppl don't even realize it.
I see several recommendations for ‘Seven Sins’ and I agree 120%. It’s a masterpiece! To get the full effect of the song I feel like you need a good understanding of what Ren has gone through with his illness. Check out his song ‘Troubles’ -to get a snapshot of what he’s had to deal with-then react to Seven Sins. Troubles is a great rap song too. This is just a suggestion, you react to whatever you want to and I’m here for it!

He is going to be filming the new tales next month according to his Instagram post. So it is probably 6 months down the road. Lot's of time processing and production. He had some creepy looking dungeons he was showing and he needed an abandon prison. Not sure what will be used in the new tales but these next tales will be another level.

Even though I've seen The Tales a million times, I was so lost in Ren's performance and acting ability during the last scene that I forgot to watch for your reaction to the twist. Omg this kept me enthralled - and that last song had me crying so hard - what a story teller And it’s all so factually true Things like that happen - The mum passes at the hands of her partner and he goes to prison leaving his kids in the system - and these ones sent to separate places not even knowing eachother and the brother winds up just like his dad and repeats a cycle Wow so amazingly put together and performed Ren is simply perfection

Ren is a modern day bard painting such vivid imagery with his storytelling that it pulls you in and forces you to keep watching - even when it gets physically uncomfortable during Violet’s Tale. And Ren uses this ability to shed light on far too real issues in the world. Ren is special.
Love that he is so creative and unique but the talent of musician, writer, singer and rapper being so authentically himself through his hardships, painting that picture as you said, is indescribably so special to each fortunate person who discovers and listens to him. You are into two of my favorite artists so far and just hope you continue with them (I know, I know all the while delving into some new and older artists) and introducing some that I might not have listened to or known about in between. Rap tracks that show off his rapping more: The Hunger, 7 Sins, Illest of Our Time, Losing It. I'd also recommend Sick Boi and Sick Boi part 2 but the video isn't available atm for part 1 and it's worth watching. Part 2 doesn't have a video and is one of my favourite Ren tracks but it's probably best to experience part 1 first. You could always react to the audio for both and when the video becomes available again, check it out then? "Halftime' the Nas retake is worth a listen too. Tbh, there are loads of incredible rap tracks by Ren and a load more that incorporate rap. If you haven't been warned, he really does rap like a rap god! :) Perhaps, after you've done a few of his rap tracks, you can check out some of his tracks where he really sings. For me, his singing is even more impressive than his rapping! Especially if he has an instrument in hand. He plays about a dozen instruments well. Half of them RIDICULOUSLY well! All self-taught! His songwriting, especially his lyricism, is world-class, no matter the genre. He's a poet really and a bloody great poet at that! :)
You want Ren rap? Illest of Our Time, Loco, Losing It, or The Hunger. 1990's and What You Want are both very cool, too. I also recommend watching his thank-you speech for reaching a million subs on TH-cam. It's called "Defining Success," and is about 5 minutes long.
Jennys tale was prompted by a newspaper story and people saying its such a shame then a few months later came Screeches tale then it was nearly 2 years later he released Violets tale tying it all together. Masterpiece

For pure fun, 'Losing It', for flexing his chops, 'The Hunger', for a rap done both with a beat, and an acoustic version, 'Genesis' (both versions are 🔥). My personal favourite is 'Seven Sins' (which has a great lyric video), though his fairly recent 'Troubles' is right up there, too. That one also has a live acoustic too, btw. If you want something from Rens rap bag - I’d recommend starting with “the hunger” … it’s a short 2+mins of flexing so many styles! It will give you a taste of what he’s capable of … then of course there’s a whole rabbit hole from there 👊
