From my understanding, the first 2 songs were based on an article he read, but "Violet's Tale", which he wrote several years after the first 2, was all Ren. It was his way of bringing it full circle. Brilliance.
The whole thing is All Ren. besides the insperation of a 14yearold gettting arrested for killing a prostitute. everything else he made up, including jenny's age and that he stole the knife from a failed home robbery minutes before the killing. the only thing that was the same is that he used a chefs kitchen knife and that jenny was a prostitue and i think was on drugs (but iirc it was more than weed *don't quote me on that*)
Ye screech n Jenny was a robber that went wrong back a few years ago.. they weren’t related violet is made up as u say to bring a twist and something that could actually happen when it comes to the strange coincidences on this planet…
Violet's tale happened in 2005 (two zero zero five) and Jenny and Screech's tale happened in 2019, 14 years later. Twins separated at birth and then Screech ends up killing his twin without knowing she existed. Jenny inherited her mother's silence and Screech inherited his father's violence. Another interesting part is when he knocks on his friend Patrick's door and he wasn't there and then calls his girlfriend who said she was busy was because they were actually together behind his back.
Your reaction to these Tales are top tier. Even just your facial expressions convey so much. You are slaying it. Hope to see you do more reactions to Ren!
I think the way he breaks it up and its not just a song with him singing it really helps suck you in pay attention to every little detail. He's an absolute genius. Speechlessness and "Woah...thats a lot" is par for the course for this video, understandably.
Don't know how you kept your composure, I've watched this video, nay, performance, many times and break down at the final reveal every time. Not a pleasant story at all and may (or may not) be fictional but certainly, not unfathomable. I've waited long enough, subbing!
I LOVE the silence that follows all these reactions. The shock, the realization, the processing! Hahaha. Great reaction and a fantastic breakdown throughout
I think, Violet's tale, which was added much later, says 2-0-0-5, which means when he told the first two around 2019, they would have been 14. If that's right its unbelievable how much he pays attention to that detail. Just a brilliant guy.
I think you’d love the covers his band The Big Push does. Especially “I shot the sheriff/road to zion/hiphop,” “Bong Bong” and “Wade in the water/nina simone/trouble so hard.” One other really good vocal performance is his busking session with Sam Tompkins called “Earned it/Man’s World/Falling."
Ren is a big movie fan and he said that most of his ideas come from movies, not from other musicians. He also dreams of having his own netflix series and I would love to see him as an actor!
apparently the whole thing is based on a news article about a young prostitute being killed by a 14yo kid... (the relation between the two and Violet's story were later additions). Ren wrote the first 2 stories (and a bunch of accompanying instagram videos) to begin with, and a few years later revisited the project to give it this tragic prologue. there are multiple hints at jenny being a prostitute (despite the young age of the twins)... she is walking streets she knows and has walked before, in high heels, deep in the night, she leads a life she wants to escape from... even in the second song, Screech calls her a lady, which could just be a random choice instead of woman, but could also allude to 1, her being a lady of the night, or 2, her looking older to Screech than she is because of the hard live she lived (but on this last bit I am reaching, probably)
If it's the story I'm thinking of, she wasn't actually killed by a 14 year old. Lynette White was a prostitute who died aged 20 (she had been a prostitute since the age of 14). A man was eventually imprisoned for her murder as a result of "familial matching", where his 14 year old nephew was a partial match for the killer and the police were able to use this to obtain enough evidence to eventually convict his uncle.
@@jasonbuckley4118 Yeah i would say you have got a lot of that completely wrong.. but good effort... you do need to learn to spell though. It is clear that Jenny is a very young prostitute. So that is far from having a normal life..She was however like her mother quiet and timid.
@@rimskykorsakov2892 as i said. judging by the melody and implying the logic that the other 2 do follow, it would imply she had a normal life despite the lyrics. hence why i said that in the explination. but even if it is the case that she was a young prostitue, im not completely "Wrong" in your words. beacuse i did say in the last bit of jenny's melody that it was " a mellow dralled out bardic tune" at the end. and if you read the whole thing, how the bardic tune is played out implies alot. through Violets tale her Sorrowful tune plays like acceptance and resigns herself to the life of abuse. The change between the start of Jenny tune to the a mellow and dralled out tune would imply a change of circumstance and acceptance to herlife. since we don't have any information on jenny besdies that she grew up in foster care and ended up walking the streets, the only implication we can make on the drastic change would be her acceptance of that part of being in her life. So the theory still stands beacuse her tune was joyful at the start and sorrowful at the end. and why be a complete douche? and go out of your way to say i'm completely wrong. 1st you got no clue? did you write the story ? are you in contact with ren with this theory as well and happened to get feed back on it before me ? its a theory, with all the information we possiable know, the point of a theory is to be critical, analyze and either enjoy or dislike is. dont be an asshole and just go "nope your wrong beacuse 1 thing you said doesnt fit in this bubble of a story" (there also ending ominous plucks at the end of all of the intros that implies someone will die in the story But didnt include that beacuse its nothing to do with the melody being an introduction of their life ) edit: i also have dyxlesya and type a good 2m from my screen, so while i write paragraphs of information i will either didn't realise i spelt something wrong or didnt catch it while i proof read my comments. also rereading my Theory, The only intrumental in the melody could imply that part of her life as well. as i said The Melody theory is based on the their life and what the melody could imply, as we have alot of information for James and Violet its accurate. with jenny we can only Interupt.
yes, someone else who get's it... also, "slice the rose off your cheeks" heavy makeup, "bust her in the breast", nice play on words there, but also, they were mostly exposed, otherwise he would have said chest. I am certain he played Violet the way he did to make that connection, but people don't want to hear it. Why would only one half the equation "fit"? Nope, they both do. ... also the connection to Violet is she is ALSO called "A Lady". ... just heard that this time through... .... and the elephant in the room, incest babies, leave home to protect them, hook up with the first person you can to cover it... yeah...
@@grimmliberty7447 I believe (but I might be wrong, haven't got the lyrics in front of me, that the words are "turned to butter in a breath" as in, the same person who was stiff and rigid and couldn't/wouldn't move, was struck down and slumped on the ground like so much melting butter. as for the incest babies.. I don't think that's necessarily true... to get a flat from welfare at 16 (and probably be emancipated) would indicate that authorities were involved, and I would assume that such an unwanted pregnancy would be dealt with.. furthermore, we know she moves out at 16, but we have no idea when she meets Stevie... years could have passed.. I think it's more likely she just made a home with yet another abuser because that's all she knows.. and that he is the father.
He tells the stories and the filming of the stories are done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every town, city, and country at this very moment and the cycle continues
To take a bit of the heavy mood: i love how you can tell he and his Team got better and better. The first Story is basically told busking on the Street, the second they ad some play and the third one....is extraordinary Art in every Aspect
Looking forward to seeing you reviewing this modern day Baird/minstrels back catalogue. I have not seen a body of work by a musician this eclectic in 50 years, You definitely have a new subscriber here.
Ren's dad "martin gill" makes short films he has a TH-cam channel, ren has a sister and he's in a short film on his dad's TH-cam channel from about 7 years ago
2:32 "Why do words elude me when I need them the most?" Uuuf, I felt that. Any other time, I'm like a walking dictionary and thesaurus... now I'm talking to someone, really wanting to drive a point forward, and I'm here looking like a damn fool! That technique you were referring to might be melismatic vocals. I could also be talking out of my a$$... An example of melisma is the song “I Will Always Love You” which was written by Dolly Parton. Performed by her and also Whitney Houston. Listen to both and you will see the extra notes Houston uses. In the word 'I', she extends it beyond one syllable to like... 5 syllables? (maybe more???). Then again, I feel it wasn't the same sort of thing. Dragging out, "Soul" to be "s o o o o o u u u u l" by purposefully putting in breaks. Hmmm, I don't know... but... I know I'm loving this reaction *presses play to continue watching*
*How do you not get Jenny and Screech were Violets twins separated at birth and he killed her without them knowing* *each other. If you say you do get it why not comment on it? It’s the most impactful event in the entire video!*
I always scan the comments before any video I watch, reaction videos or otherwise. Thank you to the people who commented and saving me from wasting my time. This particular trilogy either confuses reactors or they understand it immediately. There is no in between. It's absolutely brilliant on Ren's part but if you pay attention, it should be very easy to understand the story. I'm always embarrassed for the reactor when they don't "get it."
The story is based on a true event that happened in the UK about a 14 year old who was charged with murder which affected him because the background to the murder was incredibly horrific and that's how the song came about It's a hard trilogy to watch especially has we see these types of events happening almost daily in society unfortunately the song represent a brutal look at real life Has with all good storytellers like Ren they deliver a shocking twist you don't see coming
He made it up! Watch his video titled "screechs tale, Instagram stories"!! Making Sure to READ HIS comment, pinned in the comments!!!! He got in trouble, lost thousands of fans from it! If he did that today... it would Blow people's minds!!!
@@woodywoodman2319 That's brillant :D Currently watching the video on his channel. Don't know why I haven't seen it before. Thanks for letting us know mate!
I really should have watched this one myself earlier, but geez, it makes 'Hi Ren' seem like a lighthearted romp by comparison. Very talented storytelling, very dark subject matter.
You never know how close to you the one you target is when you attack your brothers and sisters, you never know the struggle and the miracle that it took to get you and your target to meet when you justify yourself to attack your brothers and sisters. We all have choices to make choose wisely brothers and sisters.
Based on a true story. Ren read a newspaper article about a young prostitute getting ended by a young youth with a 🔪🔪. So he came up with the Jenny section ,and after the Screech section. Both of these he had nailed and recorded inside a year..!! He thought that was it but still hadn't released those two tracks ,then about 2 years after completion of the first two tales he suddenly had the Violet idea.!!! So this masterpiece is 3 years plus in the making.!!! We Renagades lovingly call the tales Bardcore.!! Rens a William Shakespeare type of guy, maybe the moden day reincarnation of him.!! If you've only touched on Hi Ren and the tales I envy you ,for this guys back catalogue, and his latest releases are the nuts of music.! Does everything, and is master of everything.!! My suggestion is Money game trilogy.. There not grouped up like 5he tales ,do you'll need to manually select, their about the same time segments for each track like the tales.. Mg1 and 3 are straight up clicks, but for mg2 make sure you select the official lyrics video version.!! Rens earlier bands, Trick the Fox his first band, and The big push his busking band.!!! Many duets with male and female artists as well.!!! Great reaction ty. Uk Renagade here..... 🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧✌️✌️👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
He calls this style 'Bardcore' so I believe the sounds and the guitar intro come from the bard style. I love that he's revived an historic style of story telling in such a modern way. It's beautiful but unfortunately I doubt it will ever become mainstream like it should!
What I find amazing about REN’s style and his incredible talent. Is that, I doubt there is any other form of story telling, Like: A regular song, tv show, comic book, novel or full length movie. That could even come close to conveying as much emotion or as completely examine and express the characters of this story, Nearly as well as ren’s unique way of doing it. I think that, I could watch a full length 2 hour long Hollywood movie about these characters in this story. And I would not come away understanding Jenny, screech and violent as much and feeling as much emotional impact as I did from ren’s story about them. And that is absolutely incredible and a very special talent he has.
As I've read it both Jenny and Screech were real people. Ren read the newspaper one day in 2019 and buried on the 6th or 7th page was a short "write-up" [I guess you'd call it] on the tragic death of two teenage people; a girl, Jenny [a young prostitute], and her killer [proper name James somebody] known in the Neiborhood as Screech. [Both 14 or at least Screech was] [the article ended calling it such a shame] He thought that kind of news [of the decay in society that resolves in such ways] deserved more attention. So, he wrote the first two of the trilogy shortly after reading of them. These few years later he took on the task of writing a fictional story to further drive home the point that this continuing cycle of violence and decay in society should be paid attention to. So, the entire Violet story he designed to fit the personalities of those two and how they are made. Very impressive writing [and storytelling] and motivation resulted in Violet's Tale. Easily imagined they were brought up in separate foster homes. Jenny took on the quiet nature [still nature] of her mom [freezing in her tracks, unable to move when commanded to give up her goods] while Screech took on the character of his father. 14 years after two zero zero five they met each other probably for the first time and a newspaper article on the 6th or 7th page is what became of it. [as Ren has imagined it for us] His story telling has purpose. Real purpose. That is what has him stand alone [it seems] in today's society. [unique as an artist]
People often forget (or never knew) that Romeo and Juliet both die at the end of the story. We don't hear a lot of Shakespearian tragedy in movies and songs today, but I would put this in that category, and Ren a modern bard. This is art at a different level. When he's putting away the cell phone and there's no other sound, he still keeps you engaged simply with agitated, heavy breathing - no words, no music, just breathing - brilliant. I doubt this is based on a single true story, but sadly it's not an unbelievable story. Maybe it's a cautionary tale telling us to break the generational trauma patterns so we don't pass it on to our kids. I don't know. Read into it what you will.
I think your analysis is spot on. The plot may be fictional, although I believe that is based upon friends of his. The violence and dysfunction are, unfortunately, very real.
As others have hinted, Jenny's story is what Ren heard. I believe it was a young prostitute slashed to death on the streets. The report ended with the reporter saying, "it's such a shame", bringing to mind how we are becoming more and more desensitized to these types of tales. So, Ren took that story and added two layers on top of it to make it an even bigger "shame" to try and shock us out of our complacency. Also, as others have stated, Ren added a whole other layer when he released some IG shorts to promote Violets Tale (I believe) where his phone was "stolen" by "Screech" who then posted snippets from his own adventures with the stolen phone and ending just before the events of Jenny's Tale. This marketing ploy almost got Ren's IG banned and he lost followers because he told it in such a way that it was believable. I think he had to reveal it was not real before he wanted to because of this.
sorry to so this !...but ren read about a 14 year old boy who murdered somebody in a local news paper. then started on the sreech part( with the other parts story of screech video) then the other two in duality...... thus the triolgy was born! Barcore🏴☠
The eye contact with the camera, when Ren is portraying Screech, is merely for the intimidation / fear factor ... to emphasise what Jenny must have been feeling when faced with this psychopath.
You literally used the exactly words that I used as I was talking to my screen haha. I was like "no he is just emphasizing these lines for shock and fear for the viewer to throw them off balance. Nothing about the 4th wall!"
Ren call this style Bardcore and here's the origin story of the trilogy 🤩😁🤯 This wasn't originally a trilogy story. Ren read in the paper one day with a small article about a 14 yr old boy killing a young prostitute in an attempted robbery and then being shot and killed by the police later that evening. It disturbed him, so he set out to write a commentary on not just senseless violence, but on how desensitized we are in today's society. This wasn't big news, it wasn't even front page, being buried somewhere 0n pg.6 or 7. The main example of this is in the words he ends both Jenny and Screech's Tales with "It's such a Shame". We say these words all to often and just move on without a second thought. The article quoted the lead inspector at the scene say " So Young, Its such a shame" shaking his head, he walked away. Violets Tale was written over 2 years later adding another layer of commentary by Ren. Not only generational violence but making us think of how both these lives be so cursed. Born out of violence on the same day and then both killed with brutal violence on the same night. Also, his lyrics have multiple meanings if read in between the lines you'll more then likely hear something that'll make you think. Here's an example of things that made me go Hmm...🤔🤔 Example: Jenny has the same traits as her mother Violet, quiet, voiceless, and timid. Where as Screech mirrors his father Stevie in every way, Loud, obnoxious, and easily prone & provoked to violence. They didn't know one another and had never met their biological parents. Yet, what made these kids so much like their parents? Was it simply Nature, inherited traits in their genetic make-up or Nurture, being brought up in the broken system of broken children? Love your channel, Cheers 🥂
From what I've gathered thru other comment threads, is that there was a case of a young 14 yr old boy taking the life of a young 14 yo girl who worked the streets in London. But there was no relation between them. I think Ren like most folk seen the story & wondered how 2 kids end up in that situation & ended up coming up with this twist.
Ran is the minstrel telling tales, Medieval guitar, warming up, clearing his throat. And remember those ads years ago for the sharpest knife, 3 for $10. The knife that cuts steel and concrete, Screech uses a kitchen knife. Oh and Sergio Leone, spaghetti western music at the beginning of Violets tale... Hinting at twists in the story??? Brilliant.
The rhyme scheme in many of the lyrics are very intelligent and leads me to think Ren is well read. He's like a modern day Chaucer; Your face is so expressive I almost want to turn off the sound and just watch. Calling one of twins Screech and not James always throws me. Love your reactions 🙏🏻🇺🇸🇬🇧✝️✨💖🌹💐🥰
I liked this reaction. Thank you. However, you didn't mention the mind-blowing ending. Some don't get the link of Jenny and Screech with Violet. If you don't know what I am talking about watch it again.
This style that we just witnessed and is rocking our brains has been coined as "Bard Rock" , which is fitting. Glad to see a back down at the end. It hits hard.... I get it ... Wait ... We get it, friend :) ... But might I say this ? I feel during, the tale of Jenny & Screech, Ren looks at the camera to leave the viewer with the feeling that they are viewing through the eyes of the name sake of each song. Hence the camera falling whence shot and we fall with Screech. However Violets tale is filmed as a viewer and not as the victim. ... We are the victims of this brutal truth and Ren knows this by singing and straight to our faces. What can we do to stop this sort of thing ? Ask your self ... What is the difference between Violet and violence ? Sounds one and the same to me (as deep bruises are purple). We are victims to a well strung tale. Left bruised. Thanks for joining the renegades and this rabbit hole that is Rens' music.
so since the mid 2000s knife crime in london has been on the increase, mother died in 2005 and 14 years later the cycle repeates itself screech and jenny didnt know they was twin siblings and DV has been on increase in england aswell
We Do not recognize the face of truth until we witness it uncover the depth of true evil that infests this cruel World Ren Is Visionary and Messianic in One
Hello This is my first time seeing one of your reactions. I noticed your comment regarding his "breaking the fourth wall" which very few people have noticed, or have the knowledge of what that means. It gives me the belief that you have seen "HI REN", which is the first time I've seen him do it in one of his videos, and am slowly thinking that's where you noticed it also, as he actually says he's doing it in his lyrics (while he in the devilish voice of his delusional inner thoughts that he used to/and quite possibly still hears due to the psychosis that began when he was only nine years old, and he has been experiencing throughout his lifetime ever since he was only a child at nine years old, with nearly 10 years of his time being bedridden due to his lyme disease, (as well as other illnesses and incorrect diagnosis and wrong medications he was given playing a very large role of that) He talks about everything incredibly courageously, and openly in his biography. If you haven't seen or read it, I highly recommend that you do. It is an extremely inspiring, as well as painful thing to read and comprehend the magnitude of everything he has gone through, and still does (to a much lesser extent, but still to the point he still has to take a regimen somewhere in the neighborhood of 40+ pills a day. He and his ability to keep pushing on to create the music that he does is nothing less than extremely inspirational. Anyways, back to your question asking if his lyrics to his songs like these three, the answer is that they stem from truth. He is truly one unique and extremely talented musician. singer, rapper, writer, composer, story teller, producer, and much much more! P.s. Keep up the good work!
Ren read an article about a 14 year old boy who killed a prostitute at an attempt robbery, and later was shot to death the same night. The police said 'So young, such a shame.' The knife crime in the UK is increasing significantly in the past recent years. It is depicted vividly in this trilogy. Thank you for the reaction.
I think the looking into the camera parts were to emphasis the aggression, to force us to be in the victim's place. Which works, because the first time I saw Violet's Tale, I seriously nearly had a panic attack and had to stop mid-song to calm down. I was freaking out.
Though this reaction is a year old as i have just discovered REN myself, contrary to what a lot of commenters have written here, I think you figured out the story despite not commenting on it so much. But it seems like you missed the messages of each song, my interpretation of each is jenny’s tale is based on knife crime as that what inspired it along with screeches tale but screeches tale adds in anger, loss of control and the feeling of everything spinning, then violet’s tale is where it gets heavy with child abuse/child sexual abuse, absent parents into probably sexual abuse and domestic violence and it ending showing us generational abuse and how jenny inherited her mothers silence/freezing up while screech inherited his fathers anger and violence. All in all you asked if it was based on a real story so the answer is yes they happen everyday and continue to.
yeah it's based on thousands of real life tragedies that we have all heard or read far to many times. This dude is the perfect kind of different. Truly one of God's own prototypes, never once considered for mass production
So Ren read a newspaper article that was about a young sex worker being murdered in the red light district (Sussex Gardens, near paddongton) who was killed by a 14 year old robber who Was later shot by police. The article was sparse in details about Jenny and lots about “Screech” hence we don’t hear much about Jenny. Ren wanted to do Violets tale to add context about generational trauma and how Screech may also be a victim of a failed system. We don’t know much about Stevie but from my experience of being a police officer in London he probably had come from a violent and traumatic home. So the cycle continues (which is what I think the spiral staircase in Violets story represents. Jenny and Violet have same response when faced with violence - flight, fight or freeze; and they close down to not provoke and to protect themselves . Stevie and Screech when challenged/scared only know how to answer with violence. The cycle continues and kids and families are failed by the system time and time again. It’s a tragedy that is very real in society The other question is is their reactions nature or nurture. Both kids reflect the parents is that because of blood or because they grew up also in a broken system. Another thought is - Screech couldn’t go far as that’s his neighborhood and his friends/support would be in the paddington area, he’s 14 so has no car and can’t just walk around London due to other gangs so police find him nearby.
It looks like you didn't "get" the twist and the reveal at the end. Jenny and Screech were twins who, because their mother, Violet, died in childbirth, were likely separated at birth and didn't come across one another until 14 years later, they met in an alley and Screech killed his twin sister. Screech was abusive, like his father Stevie, and Jenny is quiet, like her mother Violet.
+ Patrick wasn't home to answer the door as he was 'seeing' Screeches girlfriend 'in a biblical sense, hence why she was 'busy', leaving Screech to go into a tail spin, landing up dead.

Violet's tale happened in 2005 (two zero zero five) and Jenny and Screech's tale happened in 2019, 14 years later. She's also 14, walking a dark street in the late hours in heels with rosey cheeks... a child prostitute.. so she's been through a lot already.. 😢
As far as BARDCORE...Ren is the master of the 4th wall break💯

There is so much truth in this tale that it doesn't matter if it happened "for real". Interesting reaction.
apparently the whole thing is based on a news article about a young prostitute being killed by a 14yo kid...
1st you got no clue? did you write the story ? are you in contact with ren with this theory as well and happened to get feed back on it before me ?
its a theory, with all the information we possiable know, the point of a theory is to be critical, analyze and either enjoy or dislike is.
dont be an asshole and just go "nope your wrong beacuse 1 thing you said doesnt fit in this bubble of a story"
(there also ending ominous plucks at the end of all of the intros that implies someone will die in the story But didnt include that beacuse its nothing to do with the melody being an introduction of their life )
edit: i also have dyxlesya and type a good 2m from my screen, so while i write paragraphs of information i will either didn't realise i spelt something wrong or didnt catch it while i proof read my comments.
also rereading my Theory, The only intrumental in the melody could imply that part of her life as well.
as i said The Melody theory is based on the their life and what the melody could imply, as we have alot of information for James and Violet its accurate.
with jenny we can only Interupt.
yes, someone else who get's it... also, "slice the rose off your cheeks" heavy makeup, "bust her in the breast", nice play on words there, but also, they were mostly exposed, otherwise he would have said chest.
Love your reaction. This tale hits me hard every time I watch it. I'm just blown away by Ren's talent. He's a true Bard.
He tells the stories and the filming of the stories are done so well i found myself looking for the bodies laying on the ground. The saddest thing about this is the fact each of these things are happening in every town, city, and country at this very moment and the cycle continues
“Pinches her eyelids and folds them up” is so psycho, an absolute power trip Stevie was on. Disturbing. Brilliant storytelling.
Great reaction, well worth watching. And of Ren, a true star has been born.
To take a bit of the heavy mood: i love how you can tell he and his Team got better and better. The first Story is basically told busking on the Street, the second they ad some play and the third one....is extraordinary Art in every Aspect
I had heard that the first two came from a newspaper story that was buried on page 7.
He the wrote the third to tie it together.
Masterfully done.
THE DETAILS! 🤯 When he says turn to face the police and the camera catches up to his face.❤
And done as a live performance.
I love your reaction videos! It would be great to see what you think of ‘Chalk Outlines (live)’ with Ren & Chinchilla.
I am addicted to your mannerisms. I could watch you go on about anything...
*How do you not get Jenny and Screech were Violets twins separated at birth and he killed her without them knowing*
*each other.
The story is based on a true event that happened in the UK about a 14 year old who was charged with murder which affected him because the background to the murder was incredibly horrific and that's how the song came about
It's a hard trilogy to watch especially has we see these types of events happening almost daily in society unfortunately the song represent a brutal look at real life

He calls this style 'Bardcore' so I believe the sounds and the guitar intro come from the bard style. I love that he's revived an historic style of story telling in such a modern way. It's beautiful but unfortunately I doubt it will ever become mainstream like it should!
To be honest, it doesn’t really need to be mainstream. As long as Ren continues to write stories like these, Bardcore can survive.
If it became mainstream, it would become commercialized and bastardized by people without a fraction of Ren's talent. Let's leave it alone.
He’s Shakespearean. Brilliant. The world hasn’t seen such a talent for hundreds of years.
Oh, my hearth just melted! We Finns have this saying: You can see
the soul from the eyes
Raw talent
I think the word you want is beyond rap but within poetry…Ren has used the term Bardcore which encapsulates his storytelling which uses poetry.
This man knows how to pluck a guitar and peoples heart strings
this song chokes me up every time .sadly humans can be bad Ren bless his beautiful soul shows us
Ren call this style Bardcore and here's the origin story of the trilogy 🤩😁🤯
This wasn't originally a trilogy story.
Here's an example of things that made me go Hmm...🤔🤔
Example: Jenny has the same traits as her mother Violet, quiet, voiceless, and timid.
The rattle thing she is talking about is actually called vibrato, it is when you intentionally shake you voice when singing
Vibrato! Love the reaction!
The term you were looking for is Vibrato in his voice!
From what I've gathered thru other comment threads, is that there was a case of a young 14 yr old boy taking the life of a young 14 yo girl who worked the streets in London. But there was no relation between them. I think Ren like most folk seen the story & wondered how 2 kids end up in that situation & ended up coming up with this twist.
ren is bardcore at its best, he is like a medival bard but modernised and hard core on the story lines
Brilliant.
You gotta see Money Game 3. His piano skills are impressive. He is self taught on both!
"Where are he" indeed.
That's about the same level of English I could manage to muster when I first heard this song.

He extends the words very well.
Wait ...
We get it, friend :)
Knox Hill did a breakdown and you’ll pick up a bit from him too…and that gut wrenching twist 😢

the word that came to mind when you drew a blank was "shakiness" but words also elude me constantly
so since the mid 2000s knife crime in london has been on the increase, mother died in 2005 and 14 years later the cycle repeates itself screech and jenny didnt know they was twin siblings and DV has been on increase in england aswell

Good reaction!
Hello
This is my first time seeing one of your reactions.
The word you were looking for is VIBRATO.
I heard stories like this all the time growing up ghetto. It’s just how that world is.
Ren read an article about a 14 year old boy who killed a prostitute at an attempt robbery, and later was shot to death the same night. The police said 'So young, such a shame.'
The knife crime in the UK is increasing significantly in the past recent years.
Я влюблен в тебя. Удачи тебе в творчестве
Things will be "far from pretty" in this one fellow Rayniacs. Absolutely brilliant piece of performance art.
yeah it's based on thousands of real life tragedies that we have all heard or read far to many times. This dude is the perfect kind of different. Truly one of God's own prototypes, never once considered for mass production
2;40 YOU WERE THINKIN THE WORD "FINISHER"
I HIGHLY recommend you check out Heilung - Anoana. One of the most gorgeous pieces of music and video I've seen/watched in recent times.
Whenever Ren calls me to do anything - I will!
Jenny and Screech were Violets children, that was the abuse coming full circle
Vibrato is the word you're looking for.
Great reaction. You have to do Bongo Bong, it's such a cool vibe, not so heavy. Til the next one.
So Ren read a newspaper article that was about a young sex worker being murdered in the red light district (Sussex Gardens, near paddongton) who was killed by a 14 year old robber who
Was later shot by police.
It’s a tragedy that is very real in society
The other question is is their reactions nature or nurture.
Vibrato
Have ya seen Rens latest songs? Fred Again Mashup and Back on 74/Message in a Bottle
Please read my comment - I posed a theory as to why nobody seems to understand the ending. I'm curious if anybody thinks I'm correct or not
@@andoxviii where might we find that comment, you tease?
