Hi Tim, interesting video and thanks for your efforts in explaining your views. I do have a question: What is your personal theological view (on this subject) and can you compare it to the LDS view (side by side)? Tell us why your side is better (?) Or if that doesn't matter - (but they are just differing views) you could say that too. Okay thanks and looking forward to hearing from you again, God Bless :)

I'm not speaking for Tim here, but what I can tell you is the true Biblical view, with which I'm sure Tim fully agrees: Jesus atoned for all sin, the sin of the world, so that all people who have faith in Jesus will be saved. We do not have to rid ourselves from "all ungodliness" in order to be saved by grace. We are *first* saved by grace, which then leads us to do our best to live godly lives. Until we are resurrected, however, we will not be rid of this "body of death", so we will inevitably fall short.

@@uncensoredpilgrims Yeah, very true . I think all Christians would agree with that. Grace, trying our best, and the resurrection through the merits of Christs atonement (over death and sin). It makes up for all our imperfections (and allows for repentance and improvement) which is an amazing gift.

@@nute742 Just to make sure I was clear: trying our best does not do anything for our salvation. It is only faith in Jesus that saves us, through his grace. We try our best because we love Jesus and do not want to go against his will.

@@uncensoredpilgrims Hello and thanks for your reply. I agree as per Christ he saved "all of us" (we didn't save ourselves). However I guess sometimes different christian sects may define the word "salvation" sometimes differently (however we all will receive it) Even those not of the christian faith! Salvation in those terms (the free gift) would mean resurrection over death (for all people, regardless). However doing good (our best) will be better for us than going the other way (say - doing bad and not repenting). Unless it wouldn't matter (or count) what we do (but to God I'm sure it does matter). God also gave us free will (and justice cannot be robbed). So depending on what we do withit (Christ Atonement, which is a free gift) will shape our afterlife experience and where we end up. (That's another subject). I thinks that's where the confusion (or debate) sometimes comes into play - which is salvation vs exhalation (and inheritance). There is overlap between these 2 concepts but one is the basic, and the other is a more weighty one. (Both of these require grace though)! Anyway thanks for your reply and God bless :)

@@uncensoredpilgrims Have you read the New Testament? The real Jesus said "be ye perfect as your father in heaven is perfect". Matt. 5:48 What did he mean? Maybe you should listen to Jesus instead of a minister that teaches false doctrine.
