Good job on recording the installation. Pretty much everyone knows how to plug in a fan using a USB connection. Those videos are worthless, but yours provided me with some insight as to the effort in installing a cabinet fan. Thanks!

This piece of AV furniture is called, Greenwich 63-Inch TV Stand from Bell'O. Sells for about $600 on line.

Why do I use a thermostat on the game system side? It is because I also have another stereo receiver on that side of the console. It runs my back deck speakers.

Excellent video thanks. I really hate doing DIY and my cabinet is hardwood so your tutorial was really helpful. I'd love to know if you kept it on smart mode and whether you tweaked the temperatures.

On the game systom side has always been on SMART. However on the receiver side I set at 82 degrees to activate fans.

I have a 3.5 cubic ft space in my entertainment center. Currently I have an xbox one x in there on the top shelf with an exhaust fan and on the bottom shelf an intake fan. I am removing the shelf, so my question if I keep my tv center doors open do I need an intake fan(have two exhaust fans) or keep one intake and one exhaust fan?

I believe the two exhaust fans would do nicely. However, I would do one of each. One in and one out. That should defiantly keep your x-box cool.

If your wanting to close the door. One in and one out would be best. Always keep the exhaust fan highest in the cabinet. To exhaust heat.

Great. But what about the sound? How quiet are these fans? Especially during quiet pasages of a movie?
Did I see that you added a thermostat on the gaming side but are setting arbitrary on/off on the av side? Does your Amp on the receiver not get hot when you are watching movies?
Please consider making a movie illustrating these scenarios and discuss. Thank!!

The fans are very quite. Because my fans are on the sides of my AV furniture, instead of the back, there may be a slight bit more noise than if were mounted on back. However, I never hear them switching on or off. As for cooling. They are great and the receiver and game system never gets hot. Temp always stays between 80-90 degrees. Perfect! Hope you find this helpful..

S-7 and T-9 cool the receiver side. The T-9 has a thermostat and switches on the S-7 plate on and off. They work in conjunction with one another.

There is no noise to speak of. I never hear them function even during quite passages of music or movies. A wonderful product at an affordable price..
