This song hit me with such a curveball with how different in contrast it is compared to all the other ok goodnight songs so far and I hope we get more songs like this in the future

This is genuinely one of the prettiest songs I've heard between Casey's soft, calming vocals to the band's overall gentle but full melody. It's mythic, like it belongs in a fairy tale and I love it.
I'm not the type of guy to cry at a song or movie or TV show or stuff like that.
When I say this album made me bawl my eyes out during the last 5 tracks, that's the highest compliment I can possibly give.

Never be afraid to try something different, this song proves again that you're capable of creating whatever style you're after & nailing it with the results. Very excited for the full album.
Coming back to this to say this might be one of my favourite OKG songs now. It's playing constantly in my head when it's not playing, and when it is playing I lose track of time.

Im glad I got to find Casey through the Rwby openings but come to enjoy every song she sings, to see her improve as she got older and having her own band to create their own stories
Most people have that one artist or band that's always stuck with them that they share or keep to themselves because they're underrated or a hidden gem. Casey has always been that one artist for me that I can say I've always known and cherished as I grew older
Watching her grow up with RWBY was insane. Every season she got a new level. And I didn't even know about this band until recently, but thank god for this, because I think I was going to have separation anxiety from her sounds lol, you know if they can't save RWBY for some reason.
If the rest of the songs on this album are named after animals, I'm all for it. Seems pretty story driven

I adore the style of the art. It just looks so cool and fits the vibe of the song so well. Also, I know the fox is digging at 0:49 but I like to think he's doin' a lil dance.

WOAH, this is such a tonal difference from your guys previous songs, but it just WORKS SO WELL. 3:25 it felt like the sound you're more known for creeped in as if it's a reminder that this is still Ok Goodnight.

Love LOVE the song. I adore hearing The Bear leitmotifs within the song as well. I can't help but wonder what other leitmotifs might be hidden in here as well for other songs we've not yet heard.
Could you point out the leitmotifs you found? I love that kinda thing but I can't always spot them myself

Beautiful track! Lovely melodic progginess. The bass keeping the groove flowing underneath, the light atmospherics and delicate piano on top. Which makes the contrast all the more satisfying when that unsettling dissonance creeps in towards the end - what a wonderful mood shift. Really excited to see what the full album has to offer!
It has been just over a day, and after listening to this song quite a few times, I can say with confidence that I love the way it is incredibly different than most of OK Goodnights songs, it has the feel of an OK Goodnight song, but gives a much more peaceful feeling, much like Astray does. Of course, being a prog rock band, they had to sneak the little section towards the end of the song. If this and The Bear are the two song they are willing to tease, I'm confident in the rest of this album. Definitely one of my favourite songs.

I like the open chords, it's like night and day between 'The Bear' and this song! But that crescendo toward the end, coming out of the slow part and the very tastily done guitar solo was so good I had to rewind to hear it again.
