Nice job. Seems like a surprisingly complicated starter replacement for a platform like this. I assume the headers are aftermarket and may have contributed to the failure?
Any clue why after changing my starter in my 06 Cherokee it's suddenly throwing CEL code for P0700. I know that's a generic code from the TCM but my OBD2 can't get anymore info than that. I've heard it can be NSS but seems odd it happened immediately after starter change. Thoughts.
Take a look and see if you accidentally disconnected anything by the trans..if not, you would have to look and see why it's throwing that code, it shouldn't be related to the starter replacement..don't forget to subscribe

Yep aftermarket headers, they certainly didn't help..this car is a beauty though
