Going by the WhatsApp messages between them released, the leaders do give the impression that they want her to bring it to the grave if undetected. Now that this is out in public view, PS is pushing to her saying she is mentally unsound and politically disenchanted to discredit her so what she said will not hold water against them. It's like in the corporate world you whistle-blow your boss and he come out saying you are a poor job performer to discredit you so the company will not take you seriously.
He’s a good guy. He tried is best to save that young girl, but in the end she bit him back. He doesn’t deserve punishment for her deeds.
He is not getting "punished" for her lie. He is getting "punished" for GUIDING her to continue with the lie. That is his actions, his call. And in the first place, he hasn't been punished yet has he? PS is a threat to their power and control. A power and control that is given by the people in trust and hope. Unfortunately they are also betraying that trust over and over again
Its ridiculous, are the majority PAP hearing themselves...if the 2 wp leaders are to be referred to the public prosecutors to be proven guilty then why is everyone or rather pm and his mahority of loyal cadres speaking in such a way that they had oredi condemned the wp leaders as guilty as only presented by the COP findings?
No matter how credible the findings are, it isn't their business to lead or insinuate these collective judgements. That's gaslighting or bullying to say the worst.
If honesty were to be upheld so should justice and fairness. Guilty or not, fair trial and the full legal instruments n processes should be made available to the wp before such strong condemning overtures be made.
The findings are already clear that these people are heading into criminal territory. The only thing is who to execute the punishment. Do it in parliament, some opposition supporters will say not fair and PAP bully them. So best leave it to the judges to decide. And if they too agree with COP findings, the judges will give out the punishments. Hope this clarifies.

I didn't watch the debate at all. But let me guess, no PAP MP spoke in favour of or for WP? Please someone tell me I am wrong. Was it even a debate among PAP MPs on the motion? Or did every one of the PAP MPs who spoke, spoke in favour of the motion and against the WP? As someone rightly said, "the system will fail if trust is eroded and lost". I used to sit on the fence and has been a supporter of the ruling party but this entire saga and how PAP tried to blow this out of proportion with an outright agenda to discredit PS and his party has really changed my view about the ruling party. The way how PS has been subjected to such baseless interrogations and accusations especially ET earlier is really disgusting. After all, the issue lies with RK and that she should be held accountable but yet the ruling party seems to harp on the fact that the entire WP is in the wrong. I do have more respect for PS in the way he handles the saga. Frankly, it's such a waste of public resources and taxpayers money that the ruling party is spending so much time trying to think of ways to prosecute the WP rather than focusing on the current issues that truly matters to the people. PS, do stay strong, you do have another supporter now.
Did you read the COP report? It is based on the facts undisputed by both sides. It is pretty damning on PS and WP from my view. That WP is okay with a untruth in parliament UNLESS it was asked is ADMITTED by PS. How can you vote for a politician or party like that? Is our parliament a circus to you?

@@richardchung7198 I have said previously- Raeesah Khan should have taken one for the team. Her political career is gone anyway and not as if she can’t afford $35k as she is from a wealthy family. By shouldering the responsibility all by herself, she would have limited the damage to herself solely. Instead, she pulled the entire WP leadership with her and earning infamy for a long time to come. Pritam has defended her before during the last GE and this is how she shows her gratitude.
