REVIEW: th-cam.com/video/sOTjFzw9F2w/w-d-xo.html (the video was getting too long so I cut the review/discussion and put it in a separate video for those who care)
Last character is something that we should look forward to... Many people especially women will absolutely root and be bias for that guy even though his a huge ass for our main character. But I can't blame them because he's such an interesting, handsome and well made character anyways. Hope they'll improve the animation for the next season like this.
I love it too but if people are desiring 0 freeze frame talk then that's pretty delusional and silly on my opinion, wrong anime for that. Chapter 147/this chapter, Rin vs Sae, is the only elongated play in the show with zero freeze frame talk. Why? Because it's the only elongated play in the show with zero DIALOGUE. Majority of the scenes so far and majority of the scenes to come will NOT be like this, because we follow Isagi's brain and how incredibly quickly he processes information. They stretch out a 90 minute match into 8 episodes (~140 minutes), so the still images are pretty much necessary; when characters are thinking in supposedly the time span of 0.5 seconds, there quite literally is nothing to animate, which is why everything is in slow motion. It's in the natural pace of this show
Sae doesn’t think he is mean or anything towards rin the author confirmed that sae doesn’t have any hate for rin he just thinks rin is going through a phase 😂😂😂
It's INCREDIBLY difficult, it's the kind of goal that becomes a highlight in TH-cam videos for decades, direct shots are super hard to pull off and from outside the box? Holy hell
@@donannan9295 No he's like one step/meter inside the box. You probably think the half moon that extends from the box counts as in the box. It doesn't, that's outside of the box.
actually rin berserker mode is his passion to destroy or in ego`s term "the true egoist mentality" he doesnt want connection becoz he had one (sae) and still have nightmares abt it
True and everyone forgets it. If it wasn't for him they would've have scored all 4 goals and he was the one who was able to stop Sae and predict his movements. Otherwise, Sae would've scored. This arc did Rin dirty, but it's okay guys wait for the Neo Egoist league arc Rin is gonna mess people up.
@@TheCouto11They wouldn't have scored the other 3 goal without him. He was key piece in all of the goals. The only reason Isagi was able to follow the game and create goal scoring opportunities was because either he was following Rin's lead or because Rin somehow made it possible with his individual plays.
3:08 yes it isn't healthy or normal to act the way Rin was in that moment, but it i think it made him unpredictable, therefore effective. His usual calm collected self was not able to do much in the second half so we watch him spiral into this hate fueled mindset where he targets his opponents strength's and turns it against them, the complete opposite of his brother, who uses logic. So he didn't really "Loose Himself", he just changed how he approached the game. While he was unable to score in the end it made him the very striker his brother was looking for(or at least he started to become that striker), someone who's actions cannot be determined and it resulted in him stopping Sae and Isagi scoring.
it just doesn't seem to me like a very sustainable mindset, that's all. I didn't say he was wrong, I made it clear I'm just not a fan of that "philosophy" of play
I think Rin's playstyle is just based on the fact that he is a very insecure and destructive person(needs aproval from his brother/has shown to break things like toys etc). So it makes sense that his plays are not logical in the "im going to win" philosophy but make complete sense if you think every play is for Rin to destroy the other person confidence and prove he is superior. Obviously this behavior is not normal or healthy but i think is coherent with Rin's character.
Damn was kinda disappointed with your reaction to Rins flow state you looked so unimpressed the whole time😂 if that’s how you feel though I respect it! I’m glad you enjoyed this season thanks for the reactions
To be fair, she's one of the few I've watched that actually tried to understand what was going through Rin's mind and sympathize with him rather than just screaming and saying he's crazy.
I think alot of people miss this because off the field Isagi is a super chill guy and great friend but on the field he mentally is as selfish as any player the issue is skill he knows he lacks the abilities to do what players like Bachira, Baro and Rin did where the go 1v4 against the whole defensive line so he incorporates others into his plan mainly to continue in blue lock being selfish when you dont have the talent to just takeover will get it sent home, but we seen when he was teamed with Shido and Rin that getting an assist and contributing to the win and teamwork and all that stuff isnt the soccer he wants to play, he wants to be the guy who can score the hat trick even if we lose, thats why whenever he looks back at his weakness its always the first episode when he passed, never again will I go back to the guy who passes im the guy to takes the shot.
Rin just has a screw loose and he plays his absolute best when he stops pretending he is a normal person. He thrives in pain and destruction. Is it healthy for him as a person? Oh absolutely not, not at all, oh boy no. But he plays some amazing football and he loves the shit out of it. Man is just crazy.
Oh, and ...just to be clear, you're not supposed to like it, it's meant to be unsettling and off-putting. At the end of the day, Isagi is the protagonist and the one we cheer for, Rin is a rival and an enemy as much as he is a teammate at the moment out of need and circumstance. You're supposed to enjoy the show and all the characters naturally, but him scoring would not feel good for us. Struggling between wanting the team to win and wanting to WIN as a person is Isagi's constant struggle that Blue lock tries to make us understand and feel.
1:58 😂😂😂 2:29 Sanji please kick this fool. Who you callin mellorine? 6:08 Even you saw that coming. Proud of you. 6:40 I wanted to hear the 1st op soooo badly. Would've been perfect 10/10 episode. 11:12 And so the misunderstanding begins. Sae put too much faith in Shidou unlike Rin & Isagi. 17:28 You don't know me. You're about tuh. Who said that I wonder.
Real late comment but it was luck in that moment. He bet on Rin beating Sae in that duel and gambled where he would be if Rin won. He just put all his faith onto rin and where the ball would go and that's what's missing sometimes it's luck. You can have the best performance of your life but some things are always up to chance or out of your hands.
Ay but apparently he going to be the best striker so he prob gonna get better dribbling and he better be getting better at dribbling cause if he doesn’t I got beef with the developers
Oh and im not giving Sae any leeway either. He is clearly depressed and it has made him abusive. This isnt just some 'tough love', because he is clearly being terrible to Rin. Even if he intends to help Rin become a great player, it obviously comes at the cost of his brother's mental wellbeing and he knows it, so no excuse there. (He says 'you can STILL make that face, meaning it used to be common when they played together in the past)
No the point is, those things were defenders main attributes which rin crushed perfectly, to point that they cannot come back and defend. Like for acceleration, he deliberately made him rush to the ball so he can cut back and the defender cannot stop the sprint or change direction easily. Similarly with the musclehead, physicality is all about core and he destabilised his core by hitting below him. Moreoever, rin wasn't typically the guy who would dribble and he is the rational, level headed poacher type striker, thats why whatever he was doing was out of his charector and that's why it had so much impact.
