- I was part of the first edition of the Volkswagen Experiences drive which was in Ladakh and drove the Virtus GT for a week across the land of high passes. VWe is a customer community initiative for customers and fans of the Volkswagen brand and this self driving expedition across the Himalayas was a curated drive to experience the German engineered cars.
Volkswagen is the first and only car brand in India to do a media drive to Siachen.

Hello, i am having virtus gt which i purchased recently.
I noticed few thing which are as follows
1. Keyless entry sometimes dose not work when i come near car and try to press the handle switch it dose not open car even if i m having remote key in my pocket, it works when i use to unlock with remote button
It is a feature?? Or i need to replace battery of remote as car is new purchase in march and i drove it only 5000 km
2. When car light switch is in auto mode then headlamps turn on and off according to day or night time but when i pull the switch then even on automode headlamps are always on even in daytime.
Why is so??
3. My last question in automode air-condition everytime i have to turn on innerairculation mode it dosenot turn on or off it automatically
Even if i am decreasing or increasing temprature and i press the auto button it turn off inner airculation mode off and turns on outside air mode,
Can you plz explain these features??

Is the posture and ergonomics while driving the sedan comfortable for the longer drives like this, especially for a tall person like you? I own a Slavia, and on long drives I feel the need to take more breaks when compared to SUVs.

Not at all.. they're looking for local partners which can guide them to make cars suitable to India which aren't over engineered according to Indian standards... So don't worry just go ahead with the gem 1.5 Tsi. If u are getting dsg make sure to take extended warranty
