I absolutely love the Harstem crossover and borrowing stuff. When I would watch Harstem videos he would often remind of Grubby. His style is very reminiscent of Grubby, even if he doesn't have the same gaming pedigree/legacy.
If Pitlord has some rings of protection, a talisman of evasion and some form of regen like healing wards/rejuvenation he’d probably be immortal when enemy units are affected by level 3 howl of terror, I think physical attacks that does 100% dmg to hero armor would do around 5x less damage at 17 armor and 10x less damage if it does 50% less damage to hero armor (depending on how damage reduction stacks but eh) Imagine just putting down a Pitlord by themselves in an enemy base while just killing everything with cleave, any attempts at killing Pitlord resulting in him outhealing the damage, sounds very fun and would be very educational :) Could probably chop down trees behind enemy base to place healing wards that are harder to break, or just heroes with aura items and healing spellcasters

Doom army request! Be undead, get pitlord, doom enemy unit, possess it with banshee, heal it so it doesnt die (i think doom has no expiration time, it goes on untill it kills), repeat untill you have a legion of doom!
pretty sure funny warcraft made more than 2 dooms on the 4v4 map friends with the market place and pitlord , you can also use the human hjealing staff on a unit with doom no ? tripple healing staff a unit while its doomed to wait for the doom cooldown

Is boring cause the only race that can play "solo hero" is night elf, because the moonwells and ancient protector. What would be a real challenge if it is played with another race. Otherwise is always the same but different hero.
@@zachariastsampasidis8880 The only duration is on the summoned Doom Guard itself, the timer doesn't start until it spawns in. Since that only happens when the unit dies, the debuff is permanent.
@@stewartb1019 if you possess the doomed unit the debuff goes away Also it's possible to outlast the debuff with enough healing There was a video from a Russian guy making funny Warcraft videos about random interesting tidbits
@@zachariastsampasidis8880 I can't comment on possessing a Doomed unit, I've never tried or seen it tried. It may be possible to remove it with Big Bad Voodoo, but again I've never tried that or seen anyone else try. Looking at the (original) WC3 world editor, Doom gives a default duration of 0 for both normal units and heroes. It can't time out without mods or custom maps.
Since Doom lasts forever on the targeted unit, you could make the most out of it, by dooming the tankiest target, with the goal of it dying as late as possible. Then use your second Doom on the squishiest target, to get two demons at once.
Just like another comment said here. A fun challenge to do is try to get as many doom guards as possible in one go by using on one of your tanky units, as you make sure they dont die by constantly healing them. Then when you're satified by the number of doom'd units you have you let them die at the same time and you essentially get an army of doom guards. Maybe elf would be a good one cus of the wells.
I saw a replay once where someone did this using staff of sanctuary and attacking his doomed unit with a peasant or two to keep the damage and heal in equilibrium. I think he had like 12 doom guards.
I've seen a video with a doom guard army in 4v4. The strat was relying on heal wards and fountain. Cast doom on your taurens and keep them near the fountain and heal wards. It outheals the damage of doom and you can have as many as you want.
I wish Wc3 blew up again so I could get the rust off against some noobs on my level.. I hate how it's always great players that are only left nothing else. I LOVE this game. Such good memories as a teen staying up until 7AM on Bnet playing 1v1's and 2v2's.
@@XiyuYang also depends on races and combo and map abuse. But yeah, firelord is extremely meh outside of rushing to tier 2 and harass all ins. Many mediocre heroes become significantly better in team games though
Lol, I always knew you can have any amount of Doom Guards if you're able to heal doomed units long enough. Back in 2005 me and my friend made an experiment involving Paladyn, Tranquility, mountain giants, lots of moon wells and fountain of health nearby. We were able to get 12 Doom Guards simultaneously, I still have a replay of it on my old PC
