Open Reduction Internal Fixation of Patella

This animation depicts an open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of a patellar fracture, during which an incision is made over the patella to expose the fracture. A bone clamp is used to reduce the fracture, and two K-wires are placed. The K-wires and a tension band are used to fix the fracture.
