    I'm generally confused, from what I've learned from teachers I fully understand to not visualize but I've always felt energy through my body anyway, whether I have intent or not it is just a general reaction from when I first started out meditating and focusing on my hands. Because of this, I can control the flow of energy to a degree but always try to remain within the static poses I've been taught. Should I try to stop feeling it? And I often get visuals of energy without myself giving the intent, like in meditation seeing the white orb pass in my vision without myself imagining it, if that makes sense.

      You are doing the right thing, and if you are that sensitive to energy it is a good thing. The best is to just observe how the different postures affect your energy. The key is observing your energy, and i think you would get a lot out of it if you also did a good moving chi kung and watch how that affects your energy.

    What do you think of mantra chanting? Does it waste energy or build up energy?

    • @TienShanTaoistInternalArts
      @TienShanTaoistInternalArts 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All the vocal cord exercises, chanting, omming, humming, do not waste energy and add some energy to the system. The mental aspect of the meaning of a chant doesn't affect chi so much as it can affect emotions ... which can indirectly affect chi.

    This is new to me. Once i got to the level of being able to freely move energy internally i backed off completely. I knew the supposed goal was MCU however i realized if i dont find a master to hand down real verbal traditions im probably gonna wreck my self. So i quit what i was doing and went back to the general stuff u might see in a park. Feeling my energy and just letting it flow strongly. Thanks for the upload

    I’ve been doing qi gong , meditation and zhang zuang about 4 years ago and just recently stopping over 1 year and a half ago. All while practicing martial arts. I was able to naturally use my Dantien for sudden explosive power, but recently focus has been staying in Dantien after strikes that cause explosiveness . Even though I stopped cultivation it’s impossible for me to stop this habit if I desire to use strength. Curious on how harmful if harmful at all this is that I have been doing for years. Thoughts and opinions appreciated :)

    • @TienShanTaoistInternalArts

      The way I learned, explosive power comes from developing chi power, but more than anything, simply training in a way of moving that comes to us from the internal martial arts. What kind of martial art do you practice? As far as the harm is concerned, if you get a lot of exercise and do other chi kung then the MCo is not so harmful.. Just focussing on your belly is no problem at all, and is not the MCO. You can focus on some part of your body and the energy will go there, not a problem. The problem is visualizing energy flows with intent to create flow.. Another thing is that if you are getting plenty of exercise and have been doing chi kung then that blunts the dangers of doing the MCO. It is the couch potatos that do noth=ing else that are likely to hurt themselves a lot. In any case, I have a new and improved version of this on my new channel. control; of this channel was taken from me so all my new videos will be uploaded to my new channel. The new MCO video is here, I'm curious to know if it makes better sense to you: th-cam.com/video/pqs0hSPM5jg/w-d-xo.html

      Don’t be Neurotic... who cares what anybody says if it is helping you than do it. Everyone is always saying someone or something else is phony or fake and you can’t live your life worrying about this or that.
      That being said.
      He’s right about it being kind of a self pleasuring thing that does seem to get you anywhere. From my experience being the key thing. I felt the same tiredness he is describing and I agree it’s not really getting you anywhere because there isn’t really an endgame. You get energy moving in a circuit now what. He’s also correct about letting chi flow naturally. But Chias system is kind of a pleasure system the due written like six books on sex chi gung and makes it clear that retention is the purpose of running the orbit up the back.
      However this dude’s style leaves something to be desired this is BS that is BS. He seems kinda of “care free” to be polite. He seems like even saying that much is inviting a lot of cussing and what not. Taoist wizard ad infinitum but he doesn’t give any guidance on where to start. So he’s clearly got some understanding but doesn’t appear to have a lot of inner harmony purely a biased observation and a projection of what I think a master should appear to be especially one who claims to be working with wisdom channels. That being said we all have some vice perhaps harsh speech is his. I certainly am not interested in the advice of someone who is so harsh and I am certain he doesn’t give a --. So it’s all good. My only point is learn to listen to your own heart as separate from your mind and ego and you will know what’s right for you. Others your just going to be constantly uprooted by others opinions and be a neurotic mess. Ground yourself in wisdom, wisdom is what you’re heart speaks when it is liberated from your selfish motives. When you can ask your heart something and it’s capable of being the friend who tells you what you don’t want to hear but need to know your good.
      Please talk to Lama Rigdze Namdrol if you want more on how to do that bit if it isn’t obvious.

      Also as a martial artist settling the mind in the belly is one step away from the highest place to rest the mind what your describing is actually quite advanced and worth congratulating why do you want to stop?

  • @dorjedriftwood2731
    @dorjedriftwood2731 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    People jump into this stuff without any preparation at all. And they latch on to things because of advertising.
    “If energy is blocked that’s ok”
    Yup you’re absolutely someone with experience. I wish people more people knew not to be neurotic.

    I don't know how I got here from Dynamo Jack videos lol. I dislike having to break it to you, but you're no master, not even an ordinary student. Very small spiritual cord/antakarana to the divine. There's not much Shen or spiritual energy descending into you from your higher soul into your crown chakra or bai hui point. Plus you clearly have anger issues from this video. Now granted I only watched the first couple minutes and the last couple minutes as your energy is not clean, but man you need to find a spiritual teacher who can teach you the real methods. Especially character building exercises. I know you think you know it all but you don't. There's many versions of the microcosmic orbit that aren't even public in any book. And the higher levels of Kundalini yoga meditation that use the microcosmic circuit in ways I can't speak about. And several different valid yogic methods of doing this depending upon your school and lineage. And yes it can be done with or without movement but it does not need to be done with physical movement at all. The higher practices don't involve physical movement as you leave your body during a certain portion intentionally to unite with your higher soul in yoga or Union. There's so much more but I cannot reveal as I've signed waivers with my Spiritual Teacher. However I will say I benefited from ordinary sitting microcosmic orbit practices before I met my spiritual master. Learning from my first Qigong master. And learned it from another Qigong master in several different ways as well. Both sitting and standing post. As well as macrocosmic orbits from three schools. These various methods worked and had benefit and never drained me. In fact, they inherently energized me. It's really important to do character building, inner purification exercises when doing Qigong, neigong or yogic Kundalini practices. I wish you the best with your character development. Somehow I got here after you insulting Mo Pai. Never studied it but it's fun for inspiration. Anyways I don't want people in the comments to think you know what you're talking about because you may dissuade them from real spiritual teachers. I'm not here to promote anything. I just recommended learning to scan your spiritual cord up to your higher soul and accurately measure how small it is, before insulting other instructors and methods you don't fully understand. Knowing the size of your spiritual cord gives us humility. In fact it's essential to teach humility and to keep your ego in check. Myself included, as an ordinary student in my lineage of yoga and healing.
