Love the laces! Now I wonder to be able to do this method (in a way) to shirts… kind of like regular cotton tie dye but on polyester/non cotton fabrics… set in with iron and then wash!? Also when you wash do you wash in hot or cold? Thanks for another neat video!
Mary, thanks for the nice note. Yes, you can do this with non-cotton shirts, but the colors are not as vibrant and sharp as with fiber reactive dyes on cotton. Still, it can be interesting and I did use it on a synthetic fiber shirt with a few clouds and stars on it and it turned out pretty cool. To do designs, you need to change the viscosity of the dye, which I’ll show how to in a vid I’m working on now and will put out in a few weeks. Oh, and I wash in warm water. Cheers!! Paul
