Because his weight in the basketball world doesn’t compare to Legends and Hall of Famers. Cade need to make sure he make a successful career the league before commenting on a GOAT situation.
Anyone that actually watched Jordan play for this entire career, knows there hasn't been anything like him before or since. I don't expect anything less of Cade because he grew up watching LeBron and listening to analysts put LeBron in that mix. At the end of the day, we we've seen some spectacular basketball players. Players of that caliber only come once in a generation.
It's what you see growing up. I saw Kobe people a bit younger then me saw Labron and a people few years older saw Jordon. It's hard to judge someone you've never seen play.
Meh. I think it's hard to COMPARE older to newer players. I don't think it's hard to JUDGE them. I've never seen Muhammad Ali fight live, but I'll still put him at the #1 spot on my list. It'll be harder for me to compare him to Wilder or Fury in a "who would win in a fight" debate question though.

As a Pistons fan I'm glad we picked this Cunningham kid, young man seems to have a good head on his shoulders and doesn't parrot the usual Nike Corp Jordan is the G.O.A.T propaganda that helps them continue to sell those sneakers.
The problem I always see: some fans, especially Jordan fans, completely disregard everything that isn't scoring and 1 on 1 perimeter defense. There's so much more to the game and Jordan isn't the unbreakable unbeatable force that people want him to be remembered as. No player is. Russell went 27-2 in playoff series thats about as close as you can get to unbeatable. Magic has the all time winning percentage. Lebron has won the most playoff series.
