I was there! All three shows of this run were great! Sleeping by a fire in the parking lot in South Philly and not getting robbed...priceless! Those 5 day camp outs were awesome!
What a great tour. Bringing Box of Rain back. Before they got way way way popular with regular mainstream folks. An out of shape Jerry just blowing us away those nights. What a great time.
I got cuffed and stuffed, on my way there. NJ Turnpike was famous for "State Boys". "Busted for smiling on a cloudy day", still managed to make it in time for show.
Merry Jane I was comped tickets from Anabella Garcia for all three nights, I guy I knew was a heavy medal photographer and he traded pics for tics. This was a fun run in Philly but far from Jerry at hist best. He made up for it in 87-88-89-90. Check out JFK 7-7-89 for one of the best shows you will see.
@@williamreinhard9136 Yep. I was all three shows. Saw a lot of shows in 86. Earlier, that summer Jerry went into a diabetic Coma at RFK. His play was a bit sloppy. He was rejuvenated In 87 after escaping near death.

Tents all up in the spectrum parking lot and roosevelt park.
@@photoslum I had no idea that Roosevelt Park even existed at that point. I never left the lot. It was my first Philly run.

80s Dead in Philly. Never missed a show. It is still the best show you will ever see.
85 through March 86 some of the best ever! Churning rich bubbly goodness.
Thank you! Making quarantine grateful again!
People that are sick are quarantined. Not people who are well, that's called tyranny.
