    I didn't consider many of those points/tips when choosing a campervan rental companies but I can say I ended up quite well. No after-booking surprises, no hidden fees, no restrictions whatsoever or anything like that. I'm happy with my choice :)

      Good job! Which company did you choose? (I either forgot or it is too early for me to turn my brain on haha)

    Campervan can charge electricity while moving?

    • @NZPocketGuide
      @NZPocketGuide  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, many campervans are designed to charge their secondary batteries while driving. This is achieved through a system that connects the vehicle's alternator to the campervan's secondary battery (or batteries), which are used to power the living area of the campervan. As you drive, the alternator not only charges the vehicle's primary battery but also the secondary battery, ensuring that the batteries used for your internal lights, fridge, and other appliances are charged.
      This system allows you to keep your campervan's secondary batteries charged during your travels, making it convenient for you to use electrical appliances without needing to connect to an external power source frequently. However, the efficiency of charging can depend on factors such as the age and condition of the batteries, the alternator's capacity, and how much power you're using.
      For trips where you'll be stationary for extended periods, or to ensure you have enough power for your needs, it's also common to use solar panels, plug into powered sites at campgrounds, or use a generator as additional sources of power.

    Hello, NZ government asked travellers traveling to New Zealand to do PCR test or supervised RAT test 48 hours to the first international flight. Please what is the definition of first international flight? I am coming to Auckland, but flying from Darwin Australia, I am having two stop overs in Sydney and Melbourne at the airport before traveling to Auckland. Is the flight from Darwin my first international flight or from the flight from Sydney that goes directly into Auckland. This was not clearly explained on NZ information website. Very confusing. NZ needs to remove pre-departure covid test for fully vaccinated Australian passengers. Any updates if pre-departure covid test will be removed soon please?

      Darwin to Sydney is NOT international, it is all within the same country. Same thing from Sydney to Melbourne, same country. Your first international flight is Melbourne. to Auckland. Hope this helps :)

    Hi NZPG, just a small question.
    Early in 2020 (I’m from the UK) I lodged a visa application for a working holiday visa (2 year) everything was done, medical checks sent off etc etc etc.
    I saw a video recently you posted but wanted to comment on a more recent upload to see if it would be easier to get a reply. As your video was about visa applications being approved and people being able to head out there.
    I can still see NZ isn’t fully into its open border phase yet and this is probably the reason why, however. Because my Visa application was lodged so long ago. I’m starting to think it’s lost in the system.
    Any advice? Or contact emails?
    One additional question for once I’m hopefully out there. As I’d be out there for 2 years or so on a working holiday visa. Would I be able obtain an NZ driving license? I haven’t done my driving in the UK yet. But was hoping to once in NZ.
    Thanks for any advice guys. Great videos as always.

      Ok so the easy one: NZ Driver license = Yes easy as! Check this out -> nzpocketguide.com/converting-driver-license-new-zealand-driver-license/
      Now about your visa. You have such a unique situation that I think that your only option is to contact immigration NZ. Their phone number is on the website but be prepared for HOURS of wait, it is normal for them... fun... (sorry for not having better news for you mate)
