"The Killer" is a master musician and performer...he has filled my world with so much wonderful music it is impossible to describe...this latest offering, "Mean Old Man", is a great project and I wish him, as always, the best Life can bring. Thanks for posting this clip.
I knew him when he was a kid...God ,,, what has time done to us all ...I loved playing his music, people got a real kick out of it ...I look back at the years gone by, ...wow I wouldnt have spent it any other way. Keep pumping the keys Guy, you were always one of my favorite
I am so happy to see he still has his 1st piano. Just got the new CD..was rockn & rolln in my car listening to it w/ my 13 & 9 yr old g-kids...they loved it!!! God ain't done with you Jerry! Love you
...until he dies! The Greatest Rock'n Rollin` Man Ever! When I was younger, i liked his Songs, grew up learned hear his songs. I love him and bind him in my prayers, Thank you JLL!
I seen JLL live in the Peabody Hotel in Memphis in 1997 at his 40 year music concert. The gentleman is a living legend, please lets not question or compare Mr Lewis now with 1956. He is a much wiser man today with all his added experience than back in the 50s! I had the chance to visit with Jerry at his home when I visited Memphis which through my own stupidity I missed, I have regretted this once in a life time opportunity for the last 15 years and would long for one hour in this mans company.

Beat the Hell out that old piano! At 83 he is still rocking! He needs to be in county music hall of fame!
I'm 50 and I grew up on rock n roll. I'm not kidding when I say I feel like I'm 19 years old. I play many instruments and write songs and I hope to do so as long as I'm alive. There's something about good music that keeps you young at heart. The body wears out but the soul never ages unless we let it. Keep rockin Killer!
I FIRST SAW JERRY LEE AT FOLLY BEACH SOUTH CAROLINA, WHEN WE WERE BOTH YOUNG. SAW ONE HELL OF A GREAT SHOW. SMALL AUDIENCE AND WE WERE ALL CLOSE TOGETHER. NEVER FORGOT THE CHANCE TO BE THERE. A FAN ALWAYS AND I'M GETING UP IN YEARS. GOD BLESS.
Please Jerry come to sweden! i´d really like to see you in person! rock´n roll never dies an old man told me, I hope that you don´t die either. Save the best to the last that´s why jerry still alive! // Eddie 16 years old swedish boy.
Jerry Lee Lewis did not live his life hating on other people or trying to cause other people problems. He played the piano and that was his thing. He was one of the elite and prominent with the ranks of Elvis Presley and the Man in Black. He is a living legend. God bless him.
I saw Jerry Lee play in 1985 ish at the Circle Star Theater in San Carlos California.I had just turned 21years old. Smart enough to know good music but naive enough not to fully appreciate the magnitude of what this gentleman had truly contributed to the history of Rock and Roll (and beyond). Needless to say (but I will), he tore the place up! I was smart enough to know that what I saw and heard was incredible. After the show, knowing where the performers made their entrance to and from the building, I waited outside for him. As he walked out the door I approached him and not knowing what else to say, I simply said, "Hey Jerry Lee, that was a GREAT show!" He turned and said "Why thank you", smiled and shook my hand as he got in his limo. I distinctly remember him calling me "The man with the strong hand" when we we shook hands. I still have the picture my friend took as this all went down. Jerry Lee couldn't have been nicer or more polite. At the time I remember thinking maybe he got a kick out of a then young man digging and knowing his music. As I now reflect on that moment, maybe he just got a kick out of some young guy having the balls to approach him. At the time, I wondered why no one else tried to approach him or shake his hand? I guess I still do. That was a memorable brush with greatness.
He remains the King of Rock and roll and Last man Standing | Thank you Jerry Lee for everything! I have wanted to meet you my entire life (and open for you)
Wow He still had his 1st Piano. my first piano was a old Baldwin 58inch Cabinet grand I own 65 pianos now and the 1st one dint survive me when i was a kid LOL neather did the 2nd one. But now i have personaly in my bedroom a costom made 4ft5 baby grand piano
This reminds me of an incident I read about years ago in which someone said to Jerry Lee something to the effect, "Without a piano to sit in front of, you have no idea what to do!" To my surprise, Jerry Lee -- who everyone knows thinks very highly of himself -- agreed with the statement.
There is nothing that keeps the mind intact like playing an instrument. People stay alive and healthy years longer and keep dementia away if they do. Amazing that he can play the piano so well at his age.
@livewire525 that's right, he can make a whole crowd go nuts with one little finger. "why don't you just stand in one little spot, wiggle around just a little bit". he's awsome!!
I can't prove this but I think jerry lee was born with perfect pitch. and if you think about it, that makes a lot of the stories about his youth make sense. he probably could play some in only three weeks, etc. gotta' love him. there's only one.
That old piano is in his home. He apparently loves that piano; says all three of them, Jimmy Swaggart, Mickey Gilley learned to play the piano on that old one.
@Kenny12554 I happen to think you're right. It's like watching an old fighter climb into the ring and get clobbered. In his day, Elvis, Johnny Cash, and all the rest were red hot, but Jerry Lee was white hot. He'll always be the Killer to me, and I mean no disrespect, but there is a lot of pain when you remember what was compared to what now is.
well im 24 and he still cuts it and has the chops. his new recordings are great, Ive been searching for The album where he covers Bob Segers old time rock and roll what album is it off? ive tried Google and bought a heap of albums and still havent found it?
Best live performer I've ever seen. Unbelievable. The man kept performing for three hours. He lives to perform and obviously loves his fans!
"The Killer" is a master musician and performer...he has filled my world with so much wonderful music it is impossible to describe...this latest offering, "Mean Old Man", is a great project and I wish him, as always, the best Life can bring. Thanks for posting this clip.
Time catches with us all, no matter how hard we try to avoid it. Thanks Jerry Lee for the memories!!

Jerry Lee is incredible.
He's probably the last living link to the beginning of rockn'roll.
When he's gone, there will be no one.
Love you, Killer.
Thank God we still have him. God bless him. I hope he keeps rockin' for the rest of his life.
Pure musical genius. Never the like will be seen again. Such a phenomenal part of my teen years and beyond.
It will be a very sad day when this legend passes on...and a legend he will always be...
I knew him when he was a kid...God ,,, what has time done to us all ...I loved playing his music, people got a real kick out of it ...I look back at the years gone by, ...wow I wouldnt have spent it any other way. Keep pumping the keys Guy, you were always one of my favorite
