OHHHHH What A Performer!! What Shows he would put on Pure Entertainment he was!!! Whole Lotta Shakin Going on was my all time favorate song by him. What a Great Era of Music and Songs came out back in his days of Concerts and Songs...Thank you so much for this video..R.I.H. Mr. Lewis
Dennis Quaid played that role in "Great Balls Of Fire" so well "Cousin, my road was paved a long time ago, and there ain't nothing I can do about it. So if I'm going to hell, I'm going playing the piano."
June 21,2024 is the first time I’ve watched your videos. Thank you for sharing them and I also thank you for not walking on the graves. I pray Gods Blessings For You.
Good to see you my friend. I found his likeness for young women deeply disturbing. Great Balls of Fire is my favorite song of his. Great upload my friend. 🕊️❤️🙏
Though Jerry Lee had numerous hits to his credit, he appeared on the Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder in the late 70's or early 80's. It was there that he performed a rendition of Over the Rainbow. I was so moved by it, not because it outshined any other vocalist, but he made the song his own. That song has the most haunting melody of all time. That has been my favorite of his since then. Well done.
Jerry was a huge influence on music and the birth of what we refer to as Rock & Roll. As far as how long after a death you should video it, this is your channel. Do what you feel is right and respectful. You have to do you.
Thank you for sharing his story! I always appreciate you doing these videos! My favorite song of his is definitely "Great Balls Of Fire". As a teenager, my mom grew up listening to him & other oldies goldies legends back in the day. The 50s & 60s music of rock & roll is part of me too! 🎶
Thanks so much for sharing Jerry Lee Lewis’ grave. My mother was more in step with Great Balls of Fire. You do such a wonderful job on showing famous persons graves. It’s highly appreciated. I know about Jerry Lee Lewis from my mom. So sorry to see him go. Keep on doing what you’re doing. I enjoy it very much. Much love to you.😀❤️
I don't have a favorite song. I have a favorite album. "Another Place, Another Time." Most underrated country album of all time done by none other than the killer himself.
My favorite song is "Great balls of fire" ever since i watched Top Gun movie with Tom Cruse jamming to the song when i was a kid in the 80s. Of course i like the song " a whole shaking going on"
I like what you said about waiting until things settle down before doing one of these videos . I would not feel comfortable about attending the funeral of someone famous . I like your video and have been a fan of Jerry Lee Lewis for a long time . I do not know if I can pick just one song by him because I like several of them . There was a song on one of his Mercury albums entitled : No Traffic Out of Abilene . I thought at the time of its release that it was destined to be a big hit for him but was never released as a single record as for as I know .
Thank you for being respectful and not stepping on a grave with someone in it. I was just saying something about this earlier. I get mad if I see anyone walking on a grave and not caring
Great Balls of Fire is my favorite. Thank you for showing us his grave. I think after 2 years it's nice to visit, let the people have it their way, obtain the marker, do what they want for the grave and then you could visit. But that's entirely up to you, just my thought. ❤️❤️🎶❤❤
I love watching your videos but please it's Lefty Fra zall!!! Jerry Lee was on of my all time favorite singers. I've listened to him since the mid 1950's and still listen to his recordings today. Must admit..he did it his way.
I got to see both Jerry Lee and Mickey Gilley @ Gilley s In Pasadena TX, I was celebrating my 16th birthday my cousin Dj was a Bouncer @ Gilleys talk about a show stopper They played dueling Pianos 😊
Whole Lotta Shaking Going On - I was an 8 year old chubby little girl who danced every night to that song and I lost the weight I wanted to lose , those are fun memories for me ❤
I forget which comedian asked, “ what do VD clinics in the South treat most? Great balls of fire.” That’s my favorite and must be everyone’s favorite too! Rest in blessed peace ✝️
Glad to see stone. I was there probably too soon but it's a beaut. Good job sir. Glad you didn't talk about all the scandals and junk. Crazy Arms is his most lasting cut I think😅😅
That pic with Elvis at 4:05 on the video is not Jerry Lee Lewis, but is no other than Liberace. Back in 1956. Elvis briefly did an engagement at the Frontier Hotel in Las Vegas, and pics were taken of Elvis and Liberace, during that time.
@@shanec9325 Actually, flashy suits were part of the country and western scene of the day. In the fifties, Elvis bought his clothes at Lansky Brothers on Beale street in Memphis. He also had a famous gold suit made, but only used it briefly as it was uncomfortable. Bernard Lansky's custom clothes catered to the mostly R&B acts. There is no doubt that Elvis liked Liberace's flashy persona and later borrowed it for his seventies Las Vegas era jumpsuits.
Jerry Lee Lewis was/is a legend. He had amazing musical talent as does his cousin, Jimmy Swaggart. No disrespect, but I feel like you could have found a better photo of Jimmy Swaggart.
The reality of it sets in when you see the headstone. I think two things could've been done more tastefully to honor Jerry Lee Lewis the greatest entertainer that ever graced a stage. Jimmy Lee Swaggart who is Jerry Lee's double first cousin (his parents are buried there) - that picture of him making a mistake in his life in my opinion was in poor taste, and the marker in my opinion should be more about Jerry Lee than Judith - she didn't contribute anything to rock and roll except she married Jerry Lee Lewis. If you make a trip back his other wife (Shawn Lewis), Steve Allen Lewis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jr. is buried there, his children that he lost and his eldest sister Frankie Jean Lewis Terrell and her family, Marion, and Wayne not to mention his brother Elmo who was older when killed by a drunk driver and his parents. As far as his songs - they're all my favorites. The reality of his death hits when you walk up and hear the wind blowing through the cemetary.
I would do the exact same thing as you do. Wait awhile after the funeral has passed and a monument has been placed then make the visit and video. That’s only respectful in my opinion.
Dude, your videos are copies of other TH-camrs. This Jerry Lee Lewis deal was already filmed by Scott on Tape a while back. So lame to mimic others. Can't you find and originate your own content?
Yeah I don't think I'd show up at hi s...or anyone's funeral with a camera and start filming with his grieving staring at me getting pissed! There's a time for everything and that's not it. He sure did live one long and wild life though! Quite a guy!
so no mention of his music on the giant joint headstone -- Judith's name is bigger so has a bigger profile -- no thank you to the fans who donated money and were deceived -- the 'etching' and that photo are literally just glued on -- no bespoke design -- not sympathetic to the setting -- Shame on all those who helped Judith con fans out of their money for this ... $87306? No way.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I was wondering if he had a tombstone yet. It's really beautiful! RIP Jerry Lee Lewis.
Great balls of fire is my favorite song. R.I.P. Jerry Lee Lewis
One of favorite performers of all time! I'm very young so he is way before my time....but the killer is and will always be AWESOME! RIP JLL

The first 7 minutes of this video was shot at a graveyard in Natchez - not at this small private graveyard at Clayton where Jerry is buried.
Love the videos
Would like to have seen a close up of the picture of them two together on the head stone
Cool video thank you

Yes and Liberace is who Elvis got his costume ideas from
